“HELLOW” from The Bridgewater Centre!
Today we are anxious. By the time you read this blog we will have settled into our new space however at the time of writing, we are feeling all the feels. Change can be hard, but it can also be exciting! That’s the way I’m taking it. You see this day for Umbrella Support is a big one. We have moved into a new community centre and are starting our new media program. This meant that our super bloggers had to adapt to the change of moving to a new community centre and for some of us, it was a little like butterflies in our tummies. By morning tea time we were all feeling a little more settled and were blogging away. So, enjoy our blogs which today talk about “A DAY IN THE LIFE”…Cindy It's blog day and I'm writing about what happens on the day of my life for everything and hanging out with my friend. Krystle is the one who hangs out with me, but I wish would take her to a movie. Cindy is my mate. We love her so much and have fun then Jessy is really good at cooking. I made a video and send to Cindy on my phone when she is busy. I like to play games on my laptop and do RadioVoice with Daz, Cindy and Beth . We had so much fun. I always have some fun with my beautiful friends but one more thing, I love to hang out with my mate Delia. At Delia's house we did Buldak 2x hot spicy Raman and only me finish the bowl but not too spicy for me. I have to be on the time to get there Umbrella in the morning – TJ Hi, my readers today's blog is about packing for the Blues Festival, here is what I will need and how that day would look like. On that day mum will wake me up before she leaves for work. Then I will have my music up for an hour and start making something to eat for lunch, I will start to pack for Blues Festival, I will need clothes, toiletries, my Nike air forces, jumpers, a pillow and blanket I will also need to charge my headphones as I will be listening to music the whole car ride. It is held in Echuca, Moama. I will be going with my mum, and we will be staying at her best friend's house for the weekend. We are staying there Friday until the Sunday. I feel happy to go because I will be shopping most of the time, eating delicious food, and spending time with family and friends. The Winter Blues festival is a wonderful event that people from all states will attend and listen to great music. Thank you for reading my blog this week Alannah What does your day look like? Hello Friends, Have you ever wondered what a day in the life of a dog would look like? Wonder no more! Today I will be talking about what a day in the life of Chopper would look like, for those who don’t know Chopper is my sister’s American Staffy. He is a 100% good boy (even when he isn’t) and I absolutely love him to the ends of the earth. His day starts all warm and cozy in bed, possibly wrapped up like a burrito and with just his nose sticking out. He lives like he is king of the world, because all dogs should. He then gets up to greet everyone that's in the house with a Boop and some happy circles, like a good family member. He will then demand to be let out for toilet time and an inspection of the backyard. It’s extremely important to him that he be let back in to either check out the house and do all the sniffing or find a cozy spot for a nap. Morning Walkies are an important part of Chop’s day as he needs at least two walkies a day so that he doesn’t turn into the flash and turn the house upside-down. He has a great red harness and an assortment of jackets, oodies and a fancy jumper/cardigan for his colder day walkies. He does enjoy a good Snifari (sniffing safari), so walkies can be a stop and start affair. After walkies he has some outside time until around four o’clock (sometimes he gets in earlier though) when he comes inside. Outside time is when Chop will have a series of naps, he might also play with his toys and try to catch leaves, bugs or his own shadow if he’s feeling it. He has many choices of outdoor napping spots, though I believe he might be solar powered, so you’ll mostly find him napping in the sun. Four o’clock he comes inside booping people as he comes in and finds a good spot for his inside nap, until he thinks its dinner time and then stands at the back door staring at people with a pouting look because he wants to be fed an hour or so early. Dinner is outdoor dining and Chop must shake hands, do a double high-five and a boop kiss before dinner. He is a well-mannered boy when it comes to dinner. He then waits for night time walkies so he can go check out the smells of the night. Around eight o’clock he comes in to in theory wind down for bedtime, it's not always like that but he does make it his job to add some fun and spice to our lives and we absolutely love it! He does settle into bed for the night when it’s bedtime and everyone comes in to say goodnight to him every night because as I said he is treated like a king! What does your pet family members day look like? Have a wonderful day my friends! Your friend Shan The journey to buy our home continues. Let’s start with how my Monday went, well it was meant to be a simple day “signing the contract” but it was not when we arrived at the conveyancer’s office we discovered my name was not on the document! I felt so angry / annoyed as we had told the agent it was to be in both names. We looked over the contract and saw that without a pest inspection the sale could not go ahead, so we now have to organise the inspection, which fingers crossed will happen in the next week. We have learnt from this, now we have a check list of what we need to do and see how things are Hopefully in the next few week we will be home owners!! Apart from the contract drama we had to deal with the rain. It was so heavy we could hardly see the traffic ahead of us, so we stopped at Maccas. It was a long drive home and I was exhausted and confused but proud I had got through but without the support of my mum and mother in law (Rob’s mum), I would not have. I am so grateful to them both. And also, my family and friends support. Have you ever experienced this when buying your new home. Love from Jess My dog has just had knee patella crucial ligament surgery two weeks ago on the 5th July. While he was in surgery the vet rang me and told me that they have found a mass in his leg and asked me for the go ahead to take out the mass. In that moment I assumed the worst and I instantly told the vet to take out the mass in his leg, I didn’t think about any extra cost because all I cared about was that Prince was going to ok. When I picked up Prince he was very sore and he cried a lot because he was in pain. I made sure to give him plenty of cuddles and made sure he was warm with lots of blankets. He is very stubborn when it comes time to his medication so I had to cook some mince pork and put his medication in the mince so he takes his medications. On Wednesday last week Prince took off his bandage and my support worker and I had to take him back to the vet. He now has a bigger cone because he could still get to his stitches. The really good news is that Prince has his stitches out tomorrow and my Prince is doing really well, and my Prince is a long hair Chihuahua. He is not good at being patient but who is, and even though Chihuahuas are stubborn and feisty I still really love Chihuahuas and I really love my Prince. Prince looks really funny and very cute with his cone but he doesn’t like his cone very much but he is doing really well with his cone and today is the last day of having the cone on because it is coming off tomorrow. Thank God for that, because I miss when I cuddle his little face, I miss the feeling of his fur on the side of my face. It was a very emotional, stressful time but I am getting there. Thank you everyone, Gipsy. Hi friends, welcome back! Today’s topic is a day in the life of Beth.Let me explain to you for those who don’t know I did RadioVoice on Monday after Handmade. Cindy takes cheeky monkey TJ and I to Daz’s studio. Once we arrive there we get started by putting headphones on and bringing the microphones right up to our mouths, we talk about different topics. Daz does the introductions, he does the music and the recording of Disability Matters every Thursday night. It goes on-air and you can listen to it on The Buzzz at 6:00pm. Don’t worry if you miss out you can listen to it on mix cloud, it is so much fun. When I first started I was very anxious and very shy and not very confident. But the more you practice the more comfortable you will be at it. You need to prepare yourself, there is always someone there to help you. When I started, Cindy helped me by being gentle, calm and with a couple of time doing radio I was so confident. I enjoy it so much now that looking back there was nothing to worry about. If you are anxious about anything, like starting something new for the first time, as time passes you will become more and more confident with each try. Thank you for reading my blog my dear friends signing off your beautiful friend Bethany. Welcome back to our cozy little corner of the internet, my dear lovely readers. Today, I'm going to discuss how Miss Suki-pants spent her day of life. Hey, guys! Do you still recall our lovable furball, Suki La La? Woof Woof! The quote of the day “We don’t have a great day, we make it a great day!” Each morning, she rises up at around seven and begins her day by either going to the bathroom or lounging in bed until she's ready to go outside. Once back inside, she either retreats to her bedroom with her favourite owner, my mum, or plays with the owner whose jumpers/hoodies she enjoys eating. She plays with her doggy toy daily and chases our cats around the house, almost causing them to die. It can be quite entertaining until it becomes too intense. I think she plays too big for our cat friends. She also takes a few naps throughout the day to recharge. Next week on Thursday, Miss Puppy Pants will be going on a holiday where she'll meet new people and some other dogs while we're away at a festival for a couple of days. Unfortunately, this means I won't be able to blog during that time. Not to worry! Thanks you for reading my blog See ya next time, and also have a great day.. Kathryn

It’s a bonus round of choose your own adventure this week as our bloggers were undecided as to what topic they would write about so, we made the decision that we would (as a special treat) once again choose our own adventure.
As we write these pieces it is school holidays in Melbourne so we have a few of our participants away doing super fun activities. We can’t wait to have everyone back again next week. Please enjoy these pieces from our team today… Hey everyone and welcome back to another blog today. My name is Jess and I have a intellectual disability. It doesn’t stop me from enjoying my life even those tough times which come and go and no matter where I am or what I’m doing. I’m always believing in myself. What a week it’s been. Where to start. Last Friday after cooking I went up to Morwell to look at a gorgeous home, with my fiancé Rob. We loved it and on Monday we put an offer in and on Tuesday we got the exciting news they accepted it!!! We were so shocked, relieved and so proud. We can’t wait to move in. Rob told me this great news after I finished working at St Vinnies. Tuesday night was Dinner with Friends and what a special night it was, everyone was so happy and the singing and dancing was great, a really fun night. Wednesday - I travelled to Seaford to a lovely cafe called “” Cafe L’ A Wheels which is run by people with disabilities. It is a fun place and the staff are so kind. They have great food. Worth a visit. After the cafe we went Market 3976 which is incredible and I got some bright colourful headbands. Then we were off to a factory in Dandy South to buy some Diamond arts which I love doing. Thursday is blogging and I am exhausted after my week. How was your week? Have you or know anyone you know have a busy life or a week like mine? – Jess Life is exactly like a game of chess… Hello Friends, There are so many days where plans are made, routines are down pat and then everything changes. Ah my favourite word “change” (sarcasm). Though as much as I hate to admit it we need a shake up of our lives every now and then (like the Kardashians with salad bowls, if you know you know). I think we all like to believe that we are fully in control of everything in life, so when it becomes clear that we control nothing but ourselves and our own bodies the panic sets in. Today I’m talking about the positive changes and shake ups of life. Now’s probably a good time to point out that I have no idea how to play chess… Today we have a bonus choose your own adventure blog, which has got me thinking about life and I’m getting all deep and meaningful. How are you all going in life? I hope the universe is treating you well and that you are looking after yourselves. (Have you had water today?) It’s important to make sure you are taking care of yourselves especially when life does what it does best and throws some hypothetical positive lemons at you. Positive changes in life can also throw you in a spin and I completely understand the overwhelming feelings that come with having to rearrange everything in your mind to come to terms with the changes, but as an added bonus you get the joy of living through the experience and I’m all for a learning experience. For those of you that can just go with the flow and fly with the changes without a second thought, please teach us your ways! We as a blogging group will be moving soon and this is a wonderfully exciting change but also does send the mind into overdrive, planning and organising ourselves to make sure everything goes well and we each end up at the right place. There’s nothing more awkward than turning up to the wrong place. Embrace the positive changes of life and ride the roller coaster of ups and downs! I’ll be right there with you! Go live your best lives! Your friend Shan. Hello sunshines! We're back on this very cold day, and I'd love to share this week's adventure with you. On Monday, I went to Disney on Ice! My support worker picked me up from home, and we headed to out to catch the bus with my friends. Unfortunately, we got stuck in bad traffic, but we didn't miss a thing! We quickly took our seats and waited a few minutes for the show to start. The show was absolutely gorgeous! We saw many Disney characters dancing, skating, and performing tricks and singing - it was spectacular! I'd rate it a ten out of ten and recommend it to anyone who loves Disney. On Wednesday, I attended another show, Beauty and the Beast: The Musical. It was a bit different from the original movie, but I found it beautiful, as it was my first time seeing it live. It was incredible, gorgeous, and I loved every moment! I'd love to see it again and recommend it to anyone who loves Disney and romance. What did I love most about both shows? I adored seeing all the Disney characters at Disney on Ice, but my favourite was Elsa. As for Beauty and the Beast, I loved everything, but Belle was my favourite character. Fun fact: Belle means "beautiful" in French! Thank you for reading my blog my beautiful friends and have a wonderful day your winter friend Beth. choose your own adventure the last segment of my travel adventure Hey guys surprise, we are doing a cheeky small choose your own adventure as unfortunately this is the last travel blog so let's go out with a bang! Today is all about my recent overseas adventure. Let me take you back to 2019, not too long ago but felt like a long time ago since Covid and I was almost not going to go because a family member had a medical emergency but luckily I was able to go. This time we are going to Japan! On the 8th of April mum and I flew out to our new holiday Japan the land of the rising sun but we weren't going direct we had to stop midway for another flight, 6 hours to Malaysia then a 2 hour wait for the next flight which will land us in Haneda International airport in Tokyo. We finally arrived around 6pm after 12 plus hours of flying and waiting, needless to say we were very tired as we got into a bus towards our hotel for the first few days which was right near Disney World. Our hotel was the Sheraton Grande at Tokyo Bay, we had Shabu Shabu hot pot for dinner then went to sleep in our new room. the next morning was raining but we decided to go to Disneyland, luckily it wasn't too busy and we went straight in. Mum and I got lots of photo opportunities, the longest wait was mickey mouse with a 40 minute wait time but it was worth the wait and photo opportunity, Mickey Mouse was very happy to see my mother’s necklace as it was shaped like his head, we brought a lot of goodies for our friends and families. The next day we decided to go to the other park next door, Disney Sea. Let me explain what Disney Sea is like, a massive version of Epcot but it's its own park. I won't say much about Disney Sea but it's worth going there if you hadn't put it on your list to do in Tokyo. Our next hotel is right in the center of Shinjuku called the Sunlite Hotel and guess what! we were right next to a very pretty Inari Shrine, we had to pay our respects and offer our blessing for good luck. Every morning I would buy a latte for mum at family mart just down the street as the coffee was americano style in breakfast, the next couple of days we went around Shinjuku, Harajuku and the surrounding Tokyo streets in the area, next thing we knew we were hopping on a bullet train to our last location, Osaka, we did get a beautiful view of Mount Fuji as we were on the train. Our next hotel was located next to Dotonbori street which was packed with amazing street food and cheap eats and is next to breathtaking view of the river and billboards, the next day we booked a day trip to Kyoto as well as a makeover with rental kimonos, we got our hair done and we went to a famous market that sold fresh snacks and food and small goodies to take home, they then took us to Tlone of the oldest Japanese villages in Kyoto and we walked all the way to see the temple and we even got a fortune there, I somehow got the luckiest fortune, the kimono trip was so amazing and helped our backs when walking, would definitely do it again in a heartbeat, my mother would agree on that. – Holly Monk-Oggy!
Do we have your attention yet? Today we are inventing our own animals. Here’s the brief: What does it look like? What does it eat? What is it called? How many arms, legs, eyes? What noise does it make? Does it have fur? Let’s have some fun today as we get creative! Are you ready for this? Hello Friends, Welcome to the make your own animal lab, it’s like build a bear but in my head and you shouldn’t actually see anyone running around with this animal…. Yet. Let’s make my new favourite animal! (Evil laughter optional) Right, so we’ve got a ball of black fluff, two ears, two eyes, a mouth and some teeth. no arms or legs though they kind of float around like ghosts and they’re also completely silent, no noise at all. Super appealing and totally family friendly right! There’s no need to discuss it’s life span because they live forever, also be ready to be committed to this guy, they choose their family and stick with that family forever, if they can’t stay with you they will pack up and find your closest family member and move themselves in with them. (Might want to inform the whole family tree of this guy) They eat sunflowers as a main diet but will also eat rhubarb and the occasional carrot as a treat. They will not eat anything other than what I have just listed because they are stubborn and their diet is non negotiable, No stress though they only need to eat a main meal once a day, it has to be at 6:30pm or they get hangry. (Hungry Angry combination) No one knows how they breed, they kind of just multiply and they don’t get along with each other at all, so you’ll only get one.. I created the first one and the rest just kind of appeared (my bad). They pick the family’s they live with so once you get one well as I said inform your whole family tree, so get to know all your family because they’ll need to know about this guy. If they don’t bring their own bedding (they carry it on their head) You’ll need to get a large dog bed, a blanket and a soft toy. They sleep when you sleep and they enjoy having a soft toy for comfort but you won’t find them in your bed as they like there own space when sleeping. They are super friendly and happy creatures unless they have to be around their own species or you feed them late. I believe they are adorable and you’d be very lucky to have one however I created them so I guess I’m bias. What are these creatures you ask? It’s a secret….. no seriously that’s what they are called Secret. Thank you for following along with our blogs and the different topics we work hard to come up with! We appreciate you! Spread kindness always - Shan. What if we played God and made our own type of animal? Would it thrive and adapt or will it be so unique that It’ll need human intervention just to get its population back? We don’t know as it could be anything we could dream of, this topic had me thinking very long and hard about what to write about, perhaps if you think about it, it could even be us if you think about it. Like we are considered mammals by nature and you know what’s even funny as a fact? Elephants see us like puppies, they just love to watch us and they consider us cute. What if we were the animals being obeyed by the law? Maybe in another dimension we are one? You know I think that’s my imaginary animal to think of, the evolution of us. Perhaps in the next evolution we will be taller and able to use more advanced technology, able to look back at the past mistakes we’ve made and improve on these little facts we had. We are such an amazing species and evolution is imminent in a billion years, perhaps we’ll find another home in this lifetime at least that’s what I hope for. I do hope we are a little taller. Holly Hi my readers todays blog is about what is your favourite animal. So, I have decided to create an animal using my imagination. I have decided to call it Sparkles, here's what sparkles would look like. She would have pink fluffy fur, she poops out rainbows and breathes out fire. what she eats for breakfast lunch, dinner and dessert is chocolate and she drinks water, She has two eyes two horns and four legs. The sound that Sparkles makes is click-di-clock. She does seven poop rainbows a day! She came from Unicorn Land, it's a land filed with different types of unicorns, and it has a lot of chocolate for them to eat. She had transferred over to earth and she lives on a farm, a chocolate farm. Sparkles is living the single life hanging with her unicorn friends and looking after her baby unicorns, she has two kids a boy and a girl, their names are Roxy and the boy's name is Rex. Lastly, Sparkles breathes out fire because if something bad happens she can use her protection and use her fire to make the bad guys leave her alone forever. We call them unicorns on earth but on her planet, she's called magical unicorns. Thankyou for reading my blog this week Alannah My favourite animal is the monkey, we need to look after the monkey for friends and feed them more. They will then come to you. They have two arms and two legs and two eyes. We can make sure they need to learn sign language, like me. The monkey looks good and his friends have fun and more play and more food for the monkey in the jungle. They have orange hair and some black too so we are all family like a zoo, the house for monkeys is in my house and the bed on the tree. I hope one day to have a boy and girl, I mean both, and I want both the father Jelly and mother Katie if they got a baby, call it name Kelley. – TJ Today we are talking about designing our own animal and if we could design one. So, I decided to design an animal using my two favourite animals’ koala and zebra!! I’m going to start at the bottom, using the koala legs short fat little things but cute. The body will be a Zebra’s big and strong. The head will be the koala head as they are cute with zebra ears stripped and the nose is orange and soft to touch. The body will be covered with rainbow coloured fur. They eat lettuce leaves and sit under a gumtree all day long, so not a lot of movement by this animal. The noise it makes is not loud more like a hissing sound. This beautiful creature will be called a ZELOA which means beautiful one designed by me Jess! Have you ever thought of designing your own animal and if so what would it be like? Love from zoo keeper Jess My most favourite animal that I love most of all are dogs. My dog was black and his name was Bugsy and he was the most beautiful dog and I loved him so very much but he is now in a rainbow world and this is what he looked like. He had a horn and two wings, he has the most pure blue eyes and he is called a “dog Pomeranian angel” and he can also fly and he is a very loving happy dog and has lots and lots of dogie unicorn angel dog friends. Bugsy and all his friends love to play with all the fairies, mermaids, angels and unicorns and they love to play around the waterfalls and rocks and greenery and also really love to play in the water. When there is a rainbow and they really to play under the rainbow too and they have so much fun. When Bugsy comes home he is tired and he will have a sleep and then he is in a new play mood. He will go back to play with all his friends and when has had enough he will settle in the bed and we will have lots and lots of cuddles and watch tv together and all Bugsys friends have just met Snowy,Prince Lucky, Squeaky and Gracie. Snowy, Prince, Lucky, Squeaky, Gracie have now become unicorn angel dogs and now they are all part of the team with Bugsy. Buggy’s real most bestest friends in the world are Snowy, Prince, Lucky, Squeaky, Gracie and they are all very close and inseparable they cannot be separated at all. Snow, Prince, Lucky, Squeaky, Gracie are also very close to all Bugsy’s friends and they really love each other. They all love each other and cannot be separated under any circumstances because they are inseparable and when they are all together they have so much fun. They all eat Indian food and some pasta meals, sausages and chicken roasts with veggies and salads and desserts. They pretty much like what we do and they drink lots of water and lemonade. I don’t let them drink coke or no sugar coke or any other fizzy drink the only fizzy drink they are allowed to drink is lemonade and raspberry, orange, fruit cup, strawberry lemonade and cordials. I love my Bugsy. Thank you for reading my blog, Gipsy. Hi friends welcome back to blogging on this very cold day today's topic is what is your favourite animal? My favourite animal is a dolphin. What do they look like? Dolphins can be a pink colour but also light grey and they have hole in the top of their head which is called a blow hole. They usually come to the surface for air because they can't breathe underwater. My dolphin is very special to me because it can communicate and understands me like no other humans can do. They can do tricks that no other animal or humans can do. They can follow me and help me, if someone is in the water and they can't swim, the dolphins will understand if the person needs help with just a wave of my hand. What does it eat? They like to eat fish, squid and shrimps. Dolphins spend their days resting, feeding communicating and travelling. I love dolphins because they're beautiful creatures and they are very gentle, very friendly animals and don't hurt anyone. What is it called? I call it Magical dolphin. How many arms legs eyes or fins? Dolphins have two fins and one tail and two eyes. Does It have fur? No dolphins do not have fur they have smooth skin. What noise does it make? They make a clicking noise when they want to communicate. Thank you for reading my blog and have a wonderful day, your ocean friend Bethany. This is a Shan takeover this week as I was given the challenge from the wonderful Cindy to write the introduction for this weeks blogs.
Ready your tastebuds, you're going to have a feast for your eyes with this week's blog topic! Let our bloggers tempt you with their favourite restaurants and I'm warning you it's going to make you hungry! Hi my readers today’s blog is about your favourite restaurant, and why, where is it and what do you order? My First choice would be fast food, KFC because I like their hot chips when they are freshly made with extra chicken salt, I usually get a wrap or a snack box which has chips, chicken tenders and popcorn chicken. My second favourite fast food place has to be Maccas for their cheeseburger meals and strawberry milkshakes. I recently had an experience with the Maccas in my estate. My mum and I drove there at 12am and we had to wait for over 15minutes to get our orders and because they were taking so long the store manager gave us three $10 gift vouchers. The vouchers expire until December 31st, how lucky is that. I will probably use them one at a time. I had one of my birthday party at Maccas I celebrated my 7th birthday with my friends from school and we had a lot of fun in the play area. The cake I had was an ice cream cake with Freddo frog on top. from Alannah Favourite Restaurant conundrum... Hello Friends, The word conundrum has snuck back into a blog. Funny how that happens once you learn a new word and you end up using it in everyday conversation or in this case in a blog. In all seriousness I do have a conundrum, our blog topic is our favourite restaurants, and I don't have a favourite restaurant. Don't get me wrong, I have favourite foods and beverages; I just don't have a restaurant that I would say is my favourite. Jokingly I said McDonalds when the topic was brought up, but I wouldn't go as far as committing to say it's my favourite restaurant. Sorry McDonalds, it’s not me, it’s you. For me to have something to be my favourite I need it to just pop into my mind as soon as I'm asked if it's my favourite. Like my Favourite ice cream at Augustus Gelatery, which is Biscoff & Dulce De Leche Gelato. That is my absolute favourite ice cream, and it immediately comes to my mind when asked about favourite ice creams. I can taste it in my mouth now all the Biscoffy bits and oh my goodness it’s delicious. Shout out to my sister, who I love endlessly, for taking me to get the Biscoff ice cream all those times. I love that we are supposed to be talking about our favourite restaurants and I’ve gone right ahead and started talking about ice cream. It's extremely good ice though guys, honestly, I think it's heaven. If you love ice cream and/or Biscoff give it a go. Bonus they have heaps of other flavours too, I just make a beeline for that one flavor because it’s Biscoff. I will finish this blog off by saying even if it is cold due to it being winter here in Australia, it’s still a great idea to get a mate and have an ice cream date. TREAT YOURSELF! Your Friend, Shan We are back at blogging on this cold winter day and today we are talking about our favourite restaurant or take away food. Beth and I decided to talk about Fish and Chips- yummy. We thought about why we like fish and chips and decided it’s crunchy, it’s yummy, it warms you up, it’s comforting, a good weekend takeaway to look forward to. Our favourite things to order is:- Beth 6 nuggets, chips, potato cakes, dim sims either steamed or fried. And Jess 6 nuggets, chips, dim sims steamed and banana fritters. How funny, our favourite food to order is the same! Our chips must have tomato sauce, and then take home to heat up later. We researched fish and chips in Casey and there are so many. And they are very different. In some places you can eat fish and chips by the water, which is a real treat. You can also sit in the park, near a beach and the seagulls like to visit, and try to steal our food. Thank you all, from Jess and Bethany. Japanese food is my favourite, I like sushi. I like fish and rice in my sushi. It looks and tastes yummy I’ve made sushi before at my house and cooking with my friends it was yummy! But I like it a lot sometimes I eat it for my lunch. I would like to have proper sushi in Japan one day and also gaming in Japan. – TJ My Favourite Restaurants Grill’d, is my favourite because their burgers and chips are so really yummy and I really love it. They have a wonderful chip dip called herbed mayo. McDonald’s as well because I really love the Big Mac’s, Quarter Pounders with chips, the apple pies and I also really love the egg and bacon McMuffins with hash browns on the side. I also like Schnitz but it isn’t as good as Grill’d or McDonald’s. I do really love Indian food, Mexican and some Italian. But my most favourite restaurants will have to be Grill’d and McDonald’s. I do really love La Porchetta it was one of my favourite restaurants but they have closed down in Frankston area which is a real shame and I do miss going there. In my opinion there is no other restaurant that can make Italian like La Porchetta and I have not found a new Italian restaurant that I like. La Porchetta was the only Italian restaurant that I really loved. – Gipsy Welcome back to our cosy little corner of the internet, my dear lovely readers. Today, we'll discuss our favourite restaurant. Where is it located? When do you usually go there? Why do you like it? What do you usually order? The quote of the day “Never regret a day in your life. Good days give you happiness and bad days give you experiences”. Today I will be writing about my favourite restaurant, which happens to be an Italian restaurant in Frankston called Fratelli. I don’t have a set schedule for visiting, as it depends on my desire for Italian food. I have been a fan of Italian since childhood, especially bolognese. Fratelli has great service, family-friendly, and has great food… you should go check it out. I think I would be a great restaurant critic, if you want more recommendations let me know! Thanks you for reading my blog See ya next time. Kathryn Dear readers, this week’s topic is “what is your favourite restaurant”. Let me tell you about two of my favourite restaurants Kick’in Inn and Amstel. My family and I were invited to Kick’in Inn and I have chosen Kick’in Inn because they have seafood bags which are delicious. You can pick and choose what seafood bag you want and you can add different sauce flavour bases, such as Kajun. You then add your sides. For kids they have chicken bags. After you order your food bag with everything you want and the sauce base, they boil everything in the bag. Whilst waiting they will give you gloves, a bib, and cover the table in a large paper cloth. When your food is ready they dump all the contents of the bag in front of you and you eat with your gloved hands. It is an easy clean up as they wrap everything up in the tablecloth and throw it away. Amstel is another of my favourite restaurants as they have a huge selection to choose from. My favourite is the porterhouse steak and chicken scallopini and I work there so I get to see and smell the food come out . Do you have a favourite restaurant?
