One small act of kindness can completely change someone’s day and imagine what the world could look like if more people chose compassion, understanding and acceptance every single day. In today’s blog, we’re diving into one big question: how would you change the world to make it a better place? From helping others feel included to spreading positivity in everyday moments, sometimes the smallest changes can make the biggest impact.
There are ways to make the world a kinder place. Kind is being a best friend like Krystle. I love Steph too she is crazy and her kids are naughty but cute. I think it's important to be kind to everyone. I show kindness by saying kind words and showing smiles to others, and always hope people are happy. Showing patience to someone is being kind, I think that's important. If I see someone upset think to myself "but I'm happy, what can I do to help that person to be happy too?" Family, friends and pets all make me happy, and when I feel happy I am most kind. Mum is kind to me when she buys me new clothes. I show kindness to her by always cuddling and making her a cup of tea. I will always show kindness to people no matter what because it's important, everyday. I say hello to people, and ask how they are, because that's kind. I love Disney and I feel happy when I get to go there, I am kind to everyone there. Especially because they make everyone smile. Claire. Hello dear, if you all got a kind heart to people, that is being kind. Sometimes I’m not a kind person. My mind does not always work for me, but I try to be kind to people and be happy no matter what. If you have got no kind left but be mad or angry, it is best to be calm instead. Just come out of your mind and be kind. All you have to do is calm your mind, control your mind, and try to control your kind. TJ. It is important to be kind because my mum and dad taught me to. People tell me I have nice manners and I think so too. Smiling is an important way to show kindness too. I have a nice smile so I am kind to people all the time. I ask how people are and how they are feeling because I really do hope they are well and happy. I have lots of friends as they are kind to me and I am kind to them. That is how changing the world is done, with kindness, by Korey. How would I make the world a kinder place, both on the inside of myself and on the outside, in the world. If I need to make the world kinder it would start with me being kinder to myself, by nourishing myself a bit better and letting myself heal in nature near the sea side or in the forest, maybe a place like Scotland or something. I think once I learn to be kinder and appreciate myself, I’ll maybe see the world in a different light. At the moment the world seems to be a mess, but kindness is like a chain reaction. If only one person can spread the kindness, it spreads. I showed an act of kindness while we were in lockdown. I had a lot of sun flower seeds, so I place a few in envelopes and walked around my estate to place them in people’s letterboxes, because lockdown was a hard time for most people. I thought the seeds would brighten people lives at the time. I also think about helping people at the grocery stores if they need it, but I do get shy and think I don’t want to embarrass them too. It doesn’t cost anything to be nice or kind, everyone should try to be nice, just be nice and do kind things. Simply because it’s everyone first time being alive and we all struggle at times. Small little acts of kindness can go a long way, and could make someone’s day or week. Spreading kindness to everyone is so important. From Haley. What does being kind mean to me? Being kind is listening to others, being kind is helping others and I like helping others. It's important to be kind to everyone, I said to Sheridan I'm kind to my friends because I like them, and I am kind to my family because I love my family but it's also so important to be kind to strangers. I like to be kind, because I hope the kindness I show others is returned back to me. I always say hello to my friends, the ladies who work at the community centres I attend, I say hello to everyone, saying hello is a small act of kindness. It may seem small but it can really make a difference in someone's day. On Wednesday and Friday I make coffee in the community, I smile when I talk to the customers, I say hello and I ask them how they are. Contributing in the community is kind, providing a space to feel happy, involved and included. I feel happy at the cafe and I'm surrounded by kind people. Kindness can be shown in small ways, sharing a smile, helping my family around the house, helping my friends in the cafe. I use my manners, that is showing kindness. I say thank you, please and excuse me. I also give compliments I always tell Cindy she's so nice, so sweet Cindy. It's nice to give compliments it can make someone's day. I love to give hugs! That's me showing you kindness. As important as it is to be kind to others it's important to show ourselves the same kindness. I smile and say I am beautiful. I remind myself I'm brave when doing hard things. With kindness this is Ronalda signing off. Hey readers how are you? Today’s topic is how would you change the world to be kinder? It doesn't take much to be kind, you don't know what others are going through. I would create a kindness app where people can log good deeds and inspire others. People can write positive notes and affirmations that will make people feel better about themselves. Happy photos and colours to get people in a good mood along with positive music. Also, asking if people need help with anything. I would compliment people with everything they do and give a helping hand when needed. Give old things away you don't need to people who don't have much is also a kind thing to do as is smiling at people. I would invite people to events and social gatherings so they don't feel left out, and ask people if they are okay and if they need anything. Listening to people and putting music on to make others happy is kind. Ask if someone wants a hug and being friendly, caring and positive and polite to people. I would never say anything negative to someone as that isn’t kind. Thank you for reading my blog this is Beth the kindness queen signing off until next week. How would you change the world, what are your ideas, comment below. How to make the world a kind place. I would help people with disabilities as well. I would like to help people who are living on the street. Ben 2 There are ways to make the world a kinder place. I live in a world that needs encouragement to those that are unsure, so by showing kindness and friendship to everyone I feel like a good person. If you can show other people to be respectful to others, life would be a better place on Earth. I have seen many people who have needed help and there are good people who share their time and kindness to help them. I have many friends who are very special to me and I will always show the same in return. This is Nick for another week, saying have a beautiful day. I am feeling happy because I am back to blogging again after a long break. This week we are blogging about “How we can be kind to make the world better.” People need to start being kind and helpful, and at school, kids need to learn and understand that everybody is different. In the future, schools should have “no bullying” posters on the walls so that children treat all their classmates equally. People also need to put themselves in other people’s shoes. What I mean is, if you say to someone “your shirt is ugly,” imagine how you would feel if someone said that to you. I show kindness by listening to all my Umbrella Support friends and support workers. I respect their favourite things, even if they are different from mine. I also show kindness by practicing humility, which means not boasting. I do not like it when people boast too much, but my dad told me that when a person boasts, it is just part of their personality. The world would be better if people showed humility. I do not say my blog is better than my friends’ blogs, because that would be boasting. Instead, I say I love blogging and expressing my opinions. I show kindness by respecting everyone’s comfort levels and differences. If I ask a friend a question and they say it is private, I will not keep asking because they do not want to answer. My parents also taught me good manners, like saying please and thank you. If someone gives me a gift, even if it is not my favourite, I still say thank you. I remember learning in Umbrella Support that it is the thought that counts. The person has already worked hard to give a gift. Have you ever received a gift you did not really like? I also remember when I was in kindergarten, my parents taught me not to ask classmates for their snacks. For example, if someone brought cookies, I would not say, “Can I have your cookie?” unless they offered it first. I can say “yes please” or “no thank you.” I show kindness by sending greeting cards or stickers to my relatives on special occasions because I do not see them often. If I send digital cards, it can make them happy. They might think I am kind and thoughtful. Last year, my relatives gave me red envelopes with money inside, which I could use to buy anything I wanted. It is nice that we can now also send cards and stickers digitally. To make the world a better place, people need to stop being rude and pushy. If someone says they do not like something, we should respect that and not force them. How would you feel if someone forced you? I remember when I was younger, my friend’s mum bought ice cream for her daughter and me after school. It was Baskin Robbins ice cream. My friend and I were in Grade Four at that time. It was a very kind gesture. Thank you for reading. I hope that by reading this blog, everyone will become a kind and warm person. This is Comfort Queen Jacinda signing off. Dear readers, this week's topic is how would you change the world. Readers, I have a question. How would you change the world? Let me start by saying that I have writer's block today. I think all schools should have mandatory mental health and kindness classes and this will teach kids how to be kind and take care of their mental health and recognize mental health in other people. All counselling and therapy should be free for every single person. The world would be a better place if everyone would look after their mental health. Readers I have another question, how would you change the world? Written by Charlotte. I believe that the world can always use some extra kindness, compassion and empathy. I try my absolute best to be a good and kind person who is also compassionate, patient and has empathy for others. When I say others this means I also extend the kindness to plants, animals and hilariously for some inanimate objects. It just feels important that everyone be included in kindness because that’s the right and kind thing to do. Role modelling kindness for the next generation of young humans is something that I’m conscious of and hope that all of us can contribute to. I would really love to leave a kinder world for everyone to enjoy, cherish and nurture. It feels really rewarding to know that I can pass down lessons of kindness to the young people in my life. If a lesson of kindness is the only legacy I leave then I’d be grateful for that. Kindness is sometimes something that we don’t think about we just do as part of life and I think that it’s beautiful to not need to think so hard about being kind. Kindness can find its way into your life in many different and sometimes surprising ways. There are many ways I spread kindness. One example of something I do is; I really enjoy writing little notes of kindness for people, though because I don’t need or want the recognition or praise I do this anonymously. This means that I don’t put my name on the notes. It’s not about me, it’s about the kindness and making someone’s day better. Wherever I go in life I hope that I always follow the path of kindness, so that I can share kindness, learn from kindness and be grateful for kindness. After all one act of kindness whether small or big can save a life. Your friend, Shan.

Success doesn’t always start with confidence. Sometimes it starts with simply deciding to back yourself, even when you’re unsure. In a world full of opinions, comparison, and self-doubt, believing in your own abilities can feel harder than ever. But backing yourself is what pushes you to take chances, speak up, chase goals, and grow into the person you want to become. This blog is all about learning to trust yourself, embrace your strengths, and keep showing up for your dreams, even when things feel uncertain.
Today's blog topic is about how I back myself. I am a superstar and l am very confident in the things I do but sometimes things can get a little tricky. At the start of this year I joined the Reach Employment Program where we run a cafe, it was very scary at the start because everything was new to me. I encouraged myself to show up and learn with the support of Sheridan Steph and Chanel, I've learnt so many things like making coffee, servicing customers, and giving change. I love making coffee and I know that even when things can be scary I can do it because I'm amazing. On Thursday's in media I can get pretty nervous interviewing people in front of the camera, but I make sure I do it and I'm so proud of myself after. I make sure I help around the house because I'm the best daughter. I like helping mum do the dishes, cleaning my room and looking after my dog Bella Boo. I know that I am very capable to do these things and I enjoy it. I will always back myself and believe in myself because I'm amazing. This is Princess Claire signing off, see you next week. Honestly I struggle with backing myself, I lack confidence, I’m not sure if it is due to my disability or the bullying I have endured in my life, or maybe it’s because I have a lot of empathy for other people and I care for them more than myself. But in saying that I’m in my thirties, and I’m now learning with the help of my support workers and other supports on my side, how to back myself. I’m learning how to have more confidence within myself. It’s a tough learning lesson and it’ll probably take ages to learn. One of my biggest confidence boosts I had was when I had someone on my side to get my drivers license. As far as I knew I couldn’t do it, but the person on my side had confidence in me and told me how my life would change, and the freedom I’ll get. It did take me until I was 31/32 to actually pass my license and I couldn’t be happier. Another backing myself situation was maybe when I was 26/27 when I asked for help for my mental health, because I knew what I was feeling and thinking back then wasn’t right. So I asked for help, again. I did that on my own, but again I’m happy I did it because I had people helping me and believing in me when I couldn’t. Since then, I have had several different people on my side, and sometimes I take one step forward, two steps back, but that’s okay. As long as you’ve got people who support and guide you to keep going forward. I know this blog is about backing yourself and having confidence, but I’m actually okay to say that I don’t have much confidence. I’m still learning how to back myself and it’s okay to go at a slow pace, life isn’t a race. Because it’s everyone’s first time living, we are all learning everyday. I don’t 100% back myself or have a lot of confidence, but again I’m happy to say this. Without all of the supports from when I was 27 until now, I would probably still be a turtle hiding my head in its shell. So it’s okay to have people helping you to believe in yourself and to gain confidence and to help you to back yourself. Haley. I am brave, and I am confident. Escalators are scary for me, or should I say they were scary for me. They aren’t so scary now. At the start of the year, when I’d go on the escalators, I would hold Sheridan’s hand. Sometimes I wouldn’t get on at all, it was really hard to take that first step onto the escalator. Sometimes we’d need to take a different way, like a lift or a ramp, but not anymore! I prefer to go on the escalators now. Sheridan encourages me to go on the escalators. She reminds me to tell myself, “I am brave.” Sheridan would tell me I am safe, I am capable, and I can do it! Now I get on the escalators by myself. I tell myself I am brave. It’s not so scary anymore, and I’m happy to use the escalators to get to see more shops. I like to do it by myself now, but I do still like having Sheridan next to me. I am very confident in saying I am brave and taking that step onto the escalator by myself. I even got on before Sheridan last week! When I go on the escalators with my mum, I still hold her hand. I still like to hold her hand. Next, I’d like to work on going by myself with my mum. I also hold my sister’s hand, and I’d like to try not holding her hand too. Sometimes if I overthink it too much, it’s hard to get on. So it’s good to be confident and brave, take the first step, and get on the escalator! This is Ronalda signing off. Keep following along for my journey. I like my work and I like to hangout with my friends because they’re nice people. I have fun with my good friend, sometimes they’re troublemakers but I do have fun with Daz at the movies. Best for a scary movie just like Daz. He jump three times. I can’t wait for next year, all my family go to Hawaii this will be fun and beautiful outside and beautiful water like a clean beach of course so we will have nice food. TJ. I would like to start my blog by saying that I’m backing myself by doing this blog today, as I am currently writing this blog while travelling to the airport. Just because I am not at blogging, doesn’t mean I can’t participate in blogging. I know that I can do the things that I love and I can also do the things that I may not be as enthusiastic to do. I just need to give it a go and use kind words towards myself, and I will get through it! In life I think everyone is battling something. Unknowingly we are all battling together and facing adversity in our own unique ways. It can be a bit of a challenge and at times it’s like you are continuously battling and feeling like you’re alone in this battle. Please know that even when you feel alone that you’re not alone and you are loved my friend. I know that when I’m faced with adversity that I can always ask for help and advice to get through it, my strength is in the way I deal with anything that gets thrown my way and knowing that I have support and can support others. While I am much better at standing up for and helping others, I know that I deserve to be heard and am worthy of everything good and kind in life. As is everyone else in this world. Backing myself and others in any situation is important because there are many times in my past that I, and others have been dismissed especially when it comes to mental health and having a disability. I find that speaking up for myself and kind self-talk is helpful in these situations. I know that I’m brave, strong, worthy, enough and important in this life. No one person is more deserving or more important in this life. If something is wrong or unfair towards myself or anyone else my voice will be heard! While I feel it’s important to lead with kindness and encourage myself and others, I will not be made to feel like I’m not worthy of having my voice heard. Thank you for reading our blogs! Sending you our readers love and kindness! Your friend, Shan. Monday I was really good for making the 3D animation this is the first time for last year so I drawing the character to make sure looks like the Minecraft animation from Villager News. I was so clever to do things, but the walk cycle is very long to do that but I'm so clever. On Tuesday I ask my teacher Sam and guess what, I’m going to make something like Tim Burton but first I need the big clay figurines from the stop motion. I need the set up to make sure it’s spooky and I’m going to be clever to do that, but it is so long to make things. We went to the Fountain Gate to buy some stuff from JB-HIFI buy many cd's and I like buying many games, all that stuff. We are trying for driving practice test on a week off, I will back myself to try my best. Korey. Dear readers, this weeks topic is about confidence being key. Let me start by telling you about how confidence is key in anything you do. Readers I have a question, what do you think I mean when I say confidence is key? I remember so many times I needed to be my own cheerleader and gave myself a confidence booster, like the first time I started to learn to drive or when I got my new job at Rosebud RSL. I told myself “I’ve got this” and to breathe but sometimes I still feel anxious which I know is ok. Readers, I have another question, did you ever need to be your own cheerleader? Written by Charlotte. My idea and fun today is working on my designs and clothing range. This is my happy place where I feel confident in knowing I am making what I love and sharing with the community. My growth in confidence by being able to do this has made my life different. Ben 2. Dear readers, how are you? Today’s topic is being able to feel comfortable in my space, and how I back myself when I am not feeling comfortable. I remember when I went to the hair salon to have my hair coloured, it was going to be purple because this is my favourite colour but they had to bleach my hair first. I sat at the hairdressers for 2 hrs, but I know that when my hair is done I will be so happy and feel beautiful and confident. So I did it anyway and am so glad I did. I also remember when I was told that I was going to get braces on my teeth and that I felt very anxious not knowing what to expect. I went to the Royal Dental Hospital in Melbourne. My mum and I were there for a few hours and once they were on I felt a little sore in my mouth, but knowing that this will help with my teeth I was happy I had it done. I had to have medication before and afterwards for the discomfort and pain, which would last just a week or two. Here I backed myself because I knew the outcome would be worth it. Now not only do I love my hair style and braces I feel so confident and happy, but still getting used to the braces. Readers, I shared some of the things I've overcome now tell me yours: what's something you thought you couldn't do but conquered? let us know in the comments below we would love to know. Thank you for reading my blog. This is Beth with a new hair style and more confidence each day. Love life, love yourself and love others. This is how I encourage myself:- I love my job. I stay motivated by keeping my hands busy and pulling things apart. I have been at the tip for a few years now. I wasn’t nervous at first and have only enjoyed it more and more. I work best by pulling things apart and then putting it all back together again, it helps me to learn. I have a mechanical mind. I back myself everyday. And people who I work with are also encouraging of me when I say “l know what I am doing” Nick Breakfast for dinner, some people think it’s the best idea ever, while others believe breakfast foods should stay in the morning! From pancakes and bacon to cereal, eggs, and toasties, “brinner” has become a fun and popular meal choice for many families. But is it just a lazy dinner option, or could breakfast foods actually make the perfect evening meal? Today’s blog will explore why people love breakfast for dinner, the best foods to include, and whether it’s something worth trying more often.
For breakfast my favourite bread is raisin bread, it is so nice and sweet. I have that all the time, but raisin bread for dinner that is strange for dinner. For dinner my favourite is steak sandwich and it is so delicious. For lunch my favourite sandwich is a jaffle, it’s got ham and cheese in it and it is so good I will not have a jaffle for dinner it is so disgusting, only lunch. For breakfast we have a pancake for breakfast and has got sugar and lemon in it and it is so good. For dinner we having chicken wraps for dinner which has tomato, cheese and lettuce but is so delicious for me. For dinner I will be having pizza for dinner and I save something for lunch. Today I have chicken schnitzel and I have barbecue sauce in it and it is always tasting good. On dinner we having the chicken Parma for dinner, and it was so good I do that in the restaurant. From Korey. Sometimes I eat with my family and sometimes I eat my dinner by myself in my room because I can watch a movie in my room it’s really good to eat as I watch the movie. Also, what about dinner with friends it’s a good place to go and hangout with friends every month on a Tuesday and sometimes with another program. I don’t do dinner in the morning, breakfast at night time only. From your friend TJ. I don’t believe any foods should have strict rules around when you are allowed to have them, it just seems really restrictive and in all honesty completely uncalled for. Clearly that sentence tells you exactly where I stand for this blog topic. Which is, would you have breakfast food for dinner? The short answer is yes I would. I don’t think we should limit breakfast foods to a certain time as I believe that you can have whatever brings you joy for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast foods, I think are great for anytime and I mean ANYTIME. I think because I have grown up around people who have breakfast foods like cereal or raisin toast for dinner or supper, it’s just becomes normal for me. Though I’m sure I’ve taken it a step further by having breakfast foods all day and sometimes the same thing for each meal because, why not? Shaking up when you have breakfast foods can also bring lots of good little memories to our lives, for example my Grandad excitedly ordering a big breakfast plate for lunch at a cafe. I find myself getting excited when a menu says “all day breakfast”. It just feels so good to be able to have scrambled eggs for lunch. I love that breakfast food brings me so much joy and makes life a little more exciting. We really need to find what brings us joy in our lives. Embracing those small moments that bring you joy are truely golden. Maybe your joy is dinner food for breakfast and lunch. If that’s the case then embrace your menu shake-up and continue living your best dinner for breakfast life! Apologies if this blog topic has made you hungry. Enjoy the small joys in life and I hope you have the best week! Your friend, Shan. Would you have dinner for breakfast? I have my favourite food which is pizza. It would have salami, olives, pineapple, grated cheese and garlic prawns and this would be my breakfast. I would order two pizza's just in case I was still hungry. I am in my bed enjoying this feast. My mum would not approve but she knows I will tidy it up when I am finished. This is my comfort food in my comfortable bed. It's not the normal breakfast most people would have but if I had a choice, this would be my choice. To finish off I would have lemonade to wash the pizza's down. How good would it be if I could reverse my food around and not eat the usual food for that time of the day. Maybe I could start a new trend....Nick. Is breakfast ok for dinner? What about left over pizza for breakfast? The best. I normally have tomato on toast, butter, salt and pepper. And usually with milk in a glass. Would I have this for dinner? Yes absolutely I would. In fact, I would have bacon and eggs, mushrooms on the side and toast for dinner too. If I was super super hungry and in a super super rush, I would be happy with Vegemite on toast with butter. I wonder what our readers would think about dinner, for breakfast? A roast meal is my favourite, in fact I will have one this weekend. Roast pork is by far the best, with roast potato's, crackling, apple sauce, gravy, roast pumpkin, broccoli, cauliflower with cheese sauce and crispy bread rolls. Yes I would definitely have this for breakfast. Now pizza, that's a breakfast I can agree with. Warmed up pizza in the morning is delicious. Not an everyday food, but a sometimes, if we have the left overs, kind of food. Sometimes my dad will eat steak for breakfast, and scrambled eggs for dinner. My mums favourite dinner is chicken Parma with chips and I have seen her have this for breakfast once. Thank you for reading my blog, Claire. What I would have for dinner, I would have pizza for breakfast, or two eggs for breakfast. I would have cheese on toast for lunch Ben. Hey readers, how are you? Today’s topic is can you have breakfast foods for dinner? What would you make, would you cook or order take out? I sometimes would have breakfast foods for dinner like raisin bread with jam, scones, cereal and milk, eggs, pancakes with ice cream and maple syrup, waffles with sugar, golden syrup and ice cream. That's the type of food I used to eat but now I have braces I am limited. I can only have soft foods like soft cookies, soft biscuits, fish, fruit, soup, yoghurts, cheese, salad sandwich, bread and pasta. I can sometimes have tea, ice cream, chips and flavoured milk. I cant have donuts, chocolates with nuts and hard things, nuts, lollies, toffees, bubblegum, toffee apples or anything hard and crunchy and sticky. Thank you for reading my blog. This is Beth signing off until next week. Please let us know in the comments below if you have breakfast foods for dinner. Dear readers, this week's topic is whether you would have breakfast food for dinner. Let me start by telling you about how I don't eat breakfast food for dinner. Readers, may I just say if you tell me that breakfast for dinner is your thing then I’m just going to call you a weirdo! I prefer to eat breakfast food in the morning after I wake up, and dinner at dinner time like a "normal" person. I like to eat for breakfast food in the morning after I wake up. Oats with fruit or scrambled eggs with a piece of toast. My support worker Martina and I do one to one sessions and we decide to go out for breakfast and then I like to get eggs benedict and for dinner I like to eat leftovers from the night. Whatever we might cook on the previous night, for example if we have steak or spaghetti, then I will eat that. Readers I have a question, do you eat breakfast food for dinner? Written by Charlotte. I am choosing my own adventure this week.
I love the movies and love to go with my friends and support workers. If I had my way I would go to the movies every night. I love to go with Krystle and we have a list on her phone. It has lots of green ticks so far. This year we have seen so many. We have lunch too and I get a Coke Zero and a salt and vinegar chips. Krystle always gets a small latte downstairs first. I loved Frozen 2 and How to Train Your Dragon live action. Wicked one and two was also my favourites with Krystle. I love going to the movies with Steph, Gabby's Dollhouse, SpongeBob and Mario Galaxy. I love to watch the dancing fairy show and Barbie on YouTube, they make me smile, and I love the colouring-in games with my iPad pen. Especially the Disney pictures of my favourite Princesses and Disney animals. Snow White has lots of lovely animals from the woods like birds, fawn, chipmunks, squirrels and rabbits. I like to help mum with the cleaning. Thursday nights are my washing night for me. Now I'm back to dancing! I am so excited finally back to dancing to learn many new moves. Claire. Hi my name is Nelly, I’m not from this this planet you humans call Earth, I’m from the planet Ognoth. It’s a cold place but my people need me to go to Earth to research the human race. I got into my spaceship and headed for Earth. My brakes in my ship didn’t work and I crashed into the this white type of texture, it was cold, I was cold. I tried to fix the ship, but I needed some tools to fix it. So I headed into the nearby town called Greenville. I walked along for a while until I reached a strip of buildings, there were humans everywhere, small, tall, young and old and even humans in these things with wheels like the spaceships, but no cover over them, strange I thought to myself. They cry and the older people go to their demand, are they their leaders? I’ve also noticed people calling me, “Mayor Johnstone” which is weird who is this human? I walked past a building with a mirror and I don’t look like an alien, I must have transitioned into my human form once I landed on Earth. The lady in the building is very pushy for me to have this free hat because I’m the Mayor. I took it and walked out, then I placed it in this smelly thing with flies around it. I said it looks good on you and walked off, I finally got to the tool place, and took what I needed, but as soon as I walked out I got tackled by this hairy beast wearing a silly bright coloured vest. I got up and the hairy beast got up, he ran back into the shop. Everyone was staring at me so I looked at myself in this small mirror on a piece of square metal with wheels. And I had indeed transitioned into my alien form. My tentacles have come out, I quickly started to glide away back to my spaceships. I reached my ships, set the tools out and fixed my space ships brakes and I was on my way back to Ognoth. Got home and had to video call my boss and started to tell him about the human race. Haley. On Wednesday I making the makeup for a horror movie from my other program and we made the blood and gory too. Im doing as the zombie and it is so awesome and gross. One evening me and my Gran are playing board games for my horror questions game, it was good fun. On Monday I am still making my animation and it is almost finished but you guys will love it for my videos is going to be funny and hilarious. On Tuesday I am going to still make the stop motion. I was doing the voiceover for my animation and it’s still going great for my videos. Today I’m going to see Collingwood vs Hawthorn with my dad, my sister and my aunt as she is the Hawthorn fan. On the weekend we are going to make the horror movie at the other program of mine and I am looking forward to do that and I can't wait to see it. My mum will love that for the end of the year. Korey. Today's topic is a choose your own adventure, and trying to use the word transition. I'm happy today. Last week Sheridan and I went to see a movie! It was our first time seeing a movie together it made me really happy seeing a movie with Sheridan. We watched The Magic Faraway Tree it was a good movie. We got snacks before the movie I got some chicken chips. I really enjoyed the transition from watching movies at home to watching a movie at the cinema. I liked when the children went to the magic faraway tree, and saw the magical creatures. I loved the fairy she is my favourite, Silky is her name. I really liked when she turned into a little pink fairy she's so nice and she's so pretty. I like Polly who plays the mum in the movie, she's so smart. She's so good at drawing, and creating things. I'd like to go see another movie, with Sheridan. I'm excited because I might go see The Devil Wears Prada movie with my friends from Umbrella and Sheridan, Steph, Krystle and Cindy too! I really want to see the Frozen 3 movie, it's not coming out until November 2027 but Sheridan and I will go see it when it comes out! I'm really excited for it to come out. I really like Frozen, Elsa is my favourite. I really enjoyed going to the movies and I hope I can go again soon. Goodbye from Ronalda. Dear readers how are you? Today’s topic is a choose your own adventure and we had to use the word transition if we could. Today in our blog I am talking about a big transition from my long hair which has been coloured and bleached to a short haircut which is just on my shoulders. I love it and everyone loves it too and I cant stop touching it. I keep getting called cute, and I have chosen to write about how I got my hair cut. The hairdresser I go is named Mitsu. I have known her for a year she has a salon at home. She washed my hair with shampoo and conditioner and then towel dried my hair and put leave in conditioner and hair smoothing treatment. She then brushed out my hair and cut my hair and my fringe then blow dried my hair. Lastly she went over my hair with a straightener. Hey readers, have you needed a transition? If it’s your hair or something else please let us know in the comments below. Thank you for reading my blog this is feeling fresh princess Beth with my new haircut signing off until next time. Today’s blog is a choose your own adventure blog. I need to say that when writing blogs or any piece of writing, it can be hard to choose a topic because you may overthink it and then the mind goes blank. I am very guilty of overthinking everything as I may have mentioned in previous blogs. Though today, a topic came to me while I was making origami cranes, or in the words of the lovely Krystle “cat covered birds.” I have some beautiful cat patterned origami paper that was gifted to me by a beautiful friend of mine. I have been learning to make other things but paper cranes are what I am most passionate about making and you will read why in this blog. There is a legend in Japanese culture that says that if you make 1000 origami cranes (this is called Senbazuru I believe) you will be granted a wish or it will bring you good luck. I remember reading the story about a young girl Sadako Sasaki who was battling leukemia and had started folding the paper cranes with the aim to get to 1000 so she could make a wish to cure her illness. This story inspired me to start to learn origami and why I am so passionate about making paper cranes. I often give the cranes I make to others because it’s a small token of love or kindness for friends and family from myself. I love how much joy such a small gift brings to others and I made it myself so there is apart of myself that goes with the paper crane. I also will sometimes give a group of 10 paper cranes to someone because it’s said to be a token of goodwill, friendship and well wishes. Paper cranes and origami are not just paper, there is so much meaning behind this traditional Japanese art. Origami is basically just folding paper but their is absolutely nothing basic about it, it’s truly a beautiful art with so much history and many stories folded into it. I highly recommend learning about the history and the many stories behind origami. There is joy but also sadness which is the only spoiler you will get from me before you could go on your googling journey yourself. Now I better transition into the end of my blog because I may be last to get mine in today. With kindness and love, your friend always, Shan. My adventure today is about how I would be able to fly to San Francisco and get into the Alcatraz Island where there is a prison, but before I go over to the island I would go to the tip and get the biggest dump truck which will attract all the zombies to follow the sound and truck to put all my supplies in it, and make the sound system in the truck to come to the island. Once there, I would prepare myself for when the zombies come over to the island. These zombies are very dangerous and if I could, I would get them into the prison cells and lock the gates. My plan would be to transition them back to human beings and get rid of all diseases that they might bring with them. If this task is too impossible and my plan fails, I will have to destroy all the zombies by getting a huge van and putting explosives inside. Once they are all in I will detonate the bomb to put the zombie world out of action for good. Not only have I saved the world from the evil disease, I have made the world a better place to live in. This is Nick the brave who saves the world. Next year I go to Hawaii where there is beautiful clean water and it’s nice outside. I’m not sure what food they have but it looks nice. I will try spam musubi, I haven’t tried it yet. I have seen many photos with mountains outside and it looks beautiful. It will b a transition from my last holiday to this hoilday TJ Dear readers, this week's topic is a choose your own adventure, including the word transition. Let me start by telling you about a signature question that I like to ask the interviewers at Hellow Media on Thursday afternoons. It is "Who would I invite to dinner and why"? I would invite my dad to dinner and me, my mum, and my sister would have a lot to talk about especially my new job at the Rosebud RSL. My cooking skills and the smell of delicious Hungarian food cooking. We transition to the dining room and for dinner we have cherry sauce and schnitzel and chips, and for dessert we would have palacsinta, which is thin rolled crepe and you can put anything like Apricot jam or strawberry custard inside the crepe as filling. I love my dad and I miss him everyday. Readers I have a question, who would you invite to dinner and why? written by Charlotte. One day there was a person called Sam and he went to school, and he transitioned to a different school. He had food that is chips, a chocolate and bananas and apples to eat for lunch. Ben. |
