Today’s blog is if I had a key to somewhere where would it open up to
If I had a magic set of keys the door would open to Disneyland in China because it's the happiest place on earth. I would go on rides, l'm not sure which ones yet... I'll have to wait until I'm there to see what ones I like. I would take photos with all my favourite characters like Mulan, Moana, Cinderella, Snow White, Belle, Elsa and so many more! There is a lot of yummy food at Disneyland and I would like to try new things and desserts like the ice cream in the shape of Mickey Mouse. I will wait until it's night time to watch the fireworks and light show, it will be so cool. Disney is my favourite so I would buy merchandise like jumpers, shirts, and Disney ears. Disneyland has shows running during the day and I would make sure I would go and watch all of them. I would take my family with me and we would have a fun day all together. I would use this key all the time to go to my favourite place.

If I found a set of key's and on those key's was a note attached saying "Finders Keepers", I would make a wish and it will come true.
My dream would be having V8's and the best racing cars ever made. I would build twenty car-pits where we would service the car tyres and make adjustments or repairs. I would employ twenty of the most professional drivers and have the best car track ever been built in the world.
The best thing about having this racing track is I could race and have my friends come and join me.

If I find a set of keys I would get a car and it would be an orange BMW car and still wait to save up money. I could then get a house with the keys, with an orange roof.  The house keys will also be orange.  Then I can wait to save up more money to build a house and make sure everything is good inside the house.  I can make it just a small house with a tv room and bedroom and kitchen. All the stuff, a shower and toilet too.

Hello and welcome to a key part of my week. If I could find a set of keys, I would use them to unlock any sporting or media event in the world. I would love to be able to access any radio station or sporting event in the world so I can unlock my full potential.

As readers would know I love my sport and media so this would be awesome. I would love to be a sports star by day and DJ by night. I’ve always had a passion for radio so being a DJ would be so cool. If people were to hire me as a DJ, I wouldn’t want to be paid in cash but be paid in alcohol. 

I would also use the keys to ensure that people had free use of any bottle shop in the world. I love this idea as a blog as it forces me to think as if I don’t have a disability. What would your keys unlock? How often would you use them? What would you do if your keys broke?

It was a summer night, I’m at the beach watching the sunset.
The sun booming down on the sea of water, everyone was packing up and heading home. I was the last person heading toward the car park, got my sandy sandals in my hands walking in the sand bare-foot. I took a step in the sand and dusk picked up and revealed a set of keys in the sand.  I picked them up, thinking I could catch the person who had dropped them at the car park. 
 
The car park was empty apart from my car, I gathered my thoughts on what to do with them, I kept them and took them home with me. I got home, patted Maggie and Banshee, placed my stuff on the ground and heard a cling dang. I looked down, the keys I found fell out of my bag,  I picked them up and placed them on the mantle above the fireplace. I went into the kitchen and made myself a tea, again I heard a cling dang.  I poked my head around the corner, the keys had fallen off the mantle, I went to go picked them up again and placed them up onto the mantle place again. Since it was summer the fireplace wasn’t on, but I saw a bit of glow coming from inside the fireplace. 
I ignored it, thinking it was my imagination. 
 
I went to bed that night, Maggie and Banshee didn’t come to bed, they were just sitting in front of the fireplace, which I found a bit odd. The following morning, I woke up, to the sight of Maggie and Banshee in front of the fireplace, still finding it rather odd, they only sat there in winter when the fire was blaring with warmth.
 
Midday has come and the cats were still acting particularly odd, so I had to investigate what their problem was.  I bent down to the fireplace and saw that glowing sight again, I placed my hand into the fireplace and my hand knocked some of the old ashy logs out of the way.  There was some sort of trap door with a keyhole. I touched the keyhole and as soon as I did that, the keys fell off the mantle place right next to me.  I thought to myself that was very odd, I picked up the keys and Banshee and Maggie both came running into the lounge room in front of the fireplace. I ponded “what if this key fits the lock”.

I started to unlock the lock door in the fireplace with the keys, I felt a tremble in my hands.  I saw an amber looking light behind the cracks of the door, the door itself cracked open. Banshee and Maggie barged right past me, and disappeared into the darkness, I had to follow them to get them back.
 
I walked for ages in the dark hollow hallway of some sort. It had candles lit in an arch window all the way down, the further I walk, the fire place trap door got smaller. I reached a door,  the cats were scratching and meowing at the door.  I turned the door knob, it was locked so I tried the second key to the door.  I heard the click of the door unlocking and the door crept open, I walked in and it was some sort of cat haven, Maggie and Banshee ran into the room.  I walked in behind them, and there was everything cat related.  anything that they could asked for, endless amount of toys,  they were in their happy place. 
 
 I sat there for ages watching them, Maggie rolling, I knew she was comfortable. Banshee sat with me for a while. Once he saw Maggie running and rolling around he took off.
I headed back home, I left the door open so Maggie and Banshee can get in and out whenever they wanted.  I sat down for dinner, and heard Banshee's bell come from the lounge room, he jumped onto the table and gave me a big head boop then took off back again to the cat haven.  – Haley
 
 
If I had a magic key to anywhere it would open a poodle mansion, which would be a mansion filled with poodles. I would open the door and cuddle and play with all the dogs. All the poodles already have names so I would try really hard to learn them all. I’d bring treats with me like ham and cheese to give to the dogs because I know they would love it! If the dogs needed, I would walk them around the gardens of the mansion. I would also take lots of photos of the dogs to show everyone once I got back home.  - This is Annie signing off.
 
The key that I find will open a 7/11 store. My very own. I would put in biscuits, lollies, drinks, snacks, more snacks, and chips.
I would have a lot of Slurpee’s and I would open it 24/7 and have chips too. Everything would be free especially for dogs. And all my favourite people.

What to do with random keys…
What if you were given a random set of keys, where would they lead you and what would they unlock? I used to imagine that I had imaginary random keys as a child and I would pretend that they opened the door to my cubby house. Just as well they were imaginary keys because the door to my cubby house was also imaginary. There was a cut out for an entry and I would pretend to unlock and open the imaginary door. It was like I was unlocking the door to a world of my own. It was wonderful that I had such a great imagination as a child.

As for today’s set of keys I think I’d like them to be keys to a secret garden where I can have my own quite piece of the world, with insects, animals and plants as companions. I have always loved the idea of a secret garden since I saw the movie The secret garden though I probably wouldn’t invite any friends to my garden as it would be my own place to go to unwind and just be. My ultimate dream to have a place all my own.

I have since read the book version of The secret garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett and it’s up there as one of my favourites. I would have a garden library so that I could get some reading in and obviously I’d have The secret garden book in my secret garden library as well as many other titles. They would be able to be locked away to keep the books safe.

My secret garden would be a wonderful escape from a world that I don’t always understand and that doesn’t always understand me. I think everyone deserves a place to unwind, decompress and a place where all that’s expected of you is to just be you.

If you had a set of keys it will open an abandoned mental asylum and I would not touch it for renovations because I do not want to disturb the spirits in there. I don’t want to be accused of painting the wrong colour so I would just leave it as the original colour.  I will make sure they’re at peace and make sure the ghost adventures do a tour in my mental asylum. 

I’ll be locking them up for 24 hours so they could explore the levels. I’m learning about this history to see if they catch anything on the video or on the EVP and when they get the evidence I’m willing for them to share their experiences on their social media including putting my mental asylum on the map so anyone can do a ghost tour of the asylum to pay their respects to the sprits. If they had their family members who would have been a patient or visiting their friends who were dying for yellow fever or tuberculosis Ash


Dear readers, this week’s topic is if you had keys to anywhere, where would it be. 
Let me start by telling you about if I had keys they would lead to heaven and when I got there, there would be big golden gates or that’s what I imagine in my head and I go straight to my dad and give him the biggest hug. While we are talking I would tell him how I love and miss him and about my life and why he is proud of me and also I would ask him for advice about life in general, and what life in heaven has been for him. 
Maybe he can show me where he has been living. 

I would hope these keys would give me a whole day with my dad.

Hi friends how are you? Today’s topic is if you had a random set of keys just handed to you what would it open and where would it lead you? I would open my own karaoke bar and it would be the biggest one in the world. To start with it would be in a huge warehouse that has two levels. The first level would be like a party room with multi coloured lights, disco balls and the biggest screen to read the words. The microphones would have diamonds on them and beautiful red carpet on the floor.

At the back of the room is a huge bar which serves every drink you could think of. Cocktails are our specialty and we would have all the latest soft drinks and coffee facilities as well as all different kinds of candy’s.

The top level will be called the “princess room” with beautiful furniture which would be covered in thick luscious rainbow faux fur. Above all the furniture there would be ten  chandeliers hanging from the ceiling sparkling in the distance.

My guest would be famous people from around the world and my beautiful friends and family and especially my support workers.

This week's blogging topic is one where I must use my imagination. The topic is if I have lots of keys what can I open with those keys. Firstly, if I have a key I want to use it to open the door of a shop that is in my imagination. The shop sells lots of cute merchandise, the shop is called "Lala". I already opened the door using my key and what I saw was a lot of cute stuffed animals such as: Disney, sanrio, different animals like zebra, monkey, sharks, fish too. Do you like stuffed animals ? 

Then there's a second door of Lala shop, I must use my key again or else I cannot see what's inside the other door. I opened the door and inside the second door there is more cute merchandise and the second door has stationary, lunchboxes, cute backpacks and cute cutlery too. It's such an amazing shop I love it already. I had a look at the cute stationary area and then I finished looking at the school supplies section.

There’s another door of Lala shop, I have to use my key again. When I opened it, it has gift stuff like: wrapping paper, gift bags, ribbon and greeting cards too. Isn't my shop cute ? Even though I had to use keys to open all the door for each section. 

Now I finished writing about Lala shop, I want to use my key for other thing. I want to use it to open a cupboard, the colour of the cupboard is light brown. Inside the cupboard it had lots of my favourite things. The first thing I saw has colouring books. There were mickey, zoo animals, underwater animals, unicorns, kids colouring books with various pictures. Then the second thing was my nostalgia stuff in there. I found my Barney DVD that I used to watched when I was a kid. It was a sing and dance Barney, outer space, round and round we go and you can be anything. Have you ever watch Barney?

I also found my childhood Disney nursery rhymes cassette. I had three Disney cassettes. It had a picture of Mickey ( volume 1), Pluto ( volume 2) and d
Donald  ( volume 3). Then the third is I found a pack of fabell castell pencils it had 100 colour pencils inside the pack. I can use heaps of different colours as you all know I enjoy colouring in. If only this cupboard was real, it would be cool if this is real.

What is your super power?
 
What would it be if you had one and how would you use it? Today our bloggers share with you what superpower they would love to have and how they would use it!

I’m not one for the normal superpowers,  from x-men or the avengers movies but I do have quite a few superpowers I would like. One would be to smell from the tv, smell-a-vision. It’s kind of like the Wonka TV where Mike gets transferred from the world to the tv, but instead it would be the smell from the TV. It would get transferred and I could smell. For example all those cooking shows, the chefs always say it smells amazing, but does it really?

At least with smell-a-vision power we would know. I would love to be able to know what other people are thinking while Looking at their art or writing their book. I think that would be amazing, but I wouldn’t like to read people minds all the time, that would get exhausting. 

There’s a syndrome called Sound-colour synsethia. This is when people listen to music they can see colours and they make art from seeing these colours. Ever since I watched Carrie, I would also love to be able to do telekinesis, but I wouldn’t use it for bad,  just for my lazy bum and move things toward me. It would help me with moving stuff within my reach as well. 

I don’t know what I would call this superpower if they were together but maybe, Wonka Colour synesthesia telekinesis power.

Hello and welcome to a blog with a difference. Yes, my friends I’m blogging from home today. Today’s topic is if we had a superpower what would it be and why? I would love the ability to be in multiple places at once so I didn’t have to miss out on seeing my friends meanwhile doing a very important thing at home. I would love for everyone to be able to clone themselves so we can all be in two places at once and not have to worry about missing out. The advantages of technology means I don’t have to miss out on blogging this morning and I can still be a part of it even though I’m not physically there. I would also love the superpower to transport myself to any sporting event in the world without my disability being a factor. I would love the power to be anyone I wanted to be without any restrictions. What would your superpower be? Would you use it for good or bad?

Dear readers, this week’s topic is if I would have a superpower and what would it be? Let me start by telling you that if I had a superpower it would be to have a freezing superpower so if anyone annoys me I would be able to freeze them in time and I would leave them there frozen. I am not unfreezing them.  

The positive side of my superpower would be that I would be able to make a winter wonderland and sell ice, snow cones, hot drinks, comfort food, and there would be an ice skating rink.  I would charge a decent amount of money for entry so that I would be rich and no one would complain about how much I charge.

My superpower would be to be able to fly and be invisible so people can’t find me anywhere. Being able to sleep easy and eat whatever I feel like and not put on any weight. I would love to make sure everyone is safe and healthy with positive wellbeing, making sure that everyone has no problems with their mental health and be illness free. I need another superpower and that’s to free the world of all wars and deaths and feed the children in war-torn countries. If I had a superpower it would be invisibility.  
I would use my superpower to prank people because I think it would be super funny. I would do things like moving peoples things around, tripping them, and knocking their stuff off the table. I essentially would act like a ghost and make people think they are haunted. I would do all my grocery shopping invisible and not pay for my items, I would get lots of cookies and chocolates, I might even empty the whole shop to make the workers think they're going crazy . If you had a superpower, what would it be and how would you use it?
I would love to have the superpower understanding and healing animals and insects. I talk to animals and insects anyway, but it would be lovely to know that the conversation isn't one sided and I could make animal and insects friends for real. I think talking to and understanding and healing animals and insects as the one superpower would be wonderful. If I could heal animals/insects I could take away their pain without the added stresses of having to take them to strangers and new environments.

 It would help me know if my Scaley Breasted Lorikeet, Katut the angry bird is as angry as she sounds. Does she have any pressing issues that we need to address? Would she like to talk to someone about her anger if she is angry? Honestly, I just want to know what her deal is and how we can make her feel even more spoilt and loved than she already is. I love her so much and would love to be helpful to her.

I believe the conversations with our beautiful dog, Chopper the American Staffy, would be the most interesting and hilarious ever. He would really give me so much more to smile about. I already think he has a super great personality, and he is so beautiful and loving. I would love to help him if he has any problems or pains. We would need to have a conversation about how I could make bath time less scary to him and maybe we could work on a plan to make him feel more comfortable.

I would have the most amazing time talking to my magpie friends, sharing snacks with them and singing along to their beautiful songs. Honestly, I'd be chatting away to all my creature friends and do good in the animal/insect world.

I have lots of pets at home and they are called Sonny, Sasha, Leo, Girly, Silvia, Ripley, Tina and Sparkles. We have five cats, one dog and two fish.

Our conversation’s would be to plan their days instead of waiting for us to tell them what to do. They would be able to tell us where they want to go that day or for how long they want to go there.
They would tell us when they were upset with us and why.

I could ask them what is their favourite food was to eat and they could ask me as well.
We would have the most amazing loving conversations to share with and amongst ourselves.

This week’s topic is about superpowers.
I have researched a list of superpower on the internet. There's many to choose from such as invisibility, time travel, superhuman strength too. The reason why I researched it is because I don't really know much about superpowers and I am not fond of superhero movie like Batman, Supermen or Spiderman.

My chosen superpower is to be invisible. I chose to be invisible because it sounds like a cool superpower. According to Google the word "Invisible" means not able to be seen. I will use my invisible superpower when I am in public places like at the shopping centres when I see a familiar faces for example: If I bump into a friend from handmade or if I ever bump into a co worker that I know from work at the mall, because sometimes I don't feel like having a chitchat, if I don't have my Invisibility superpower they noticed me and say " Hi
How are you? What are you doing here? Did you buy anything?” I mean small talk is important in life, but sometimes I feel like I just want to be quiet and not say much. It will also be cool to be invisible when I am at a large party gathering, where there is a lot of people at the party. People wouldn't know if I am invisible and I’m sure I wouldn’t be able to hear loud music or loud people because I am invisible. Invisible in my ears too.

I want to have time travel superpower too. It means to travel into the past or future. As I mentioned in last week blog I really want a time machine where I can go back to a time when I was in kindergarten.

If I have a time travel power I want to revisit to a time when I went shopping with my dad when I was a kid just the two of us, mum and my brother were at home. I remembered dad and I went to the pharmacy and in the car I listened to Disney children nursery rhymes songs in the car, it still lifts my mood when I listened to it. It might sounds very simple but it's memorable, I still remembered that but I don't remember the date though.

If I have time travel I want to revisit when I went on safari with my family, this is also when I was small. I love seeing all the animals on the safari and then we usually ate KFC for lunch. We sat outside when the weather is nice, but if it's raining we ate inside. That's memorable too. Dear readers this week’s topic is what would you like to invent?
Let me start by telling you about something that I would invent.  It would be something that would make my bed for me.  To be honest I’m a bit lazy when it comes to making my bed by myself and it would help me out especially when I’m busy during the week and don’t have time to it. By the time you read this blog I will be back at blogging and I can’t wait to be back at blogging. My mum said that if she was to invent something she would invent something that would fold all her clothes which I think is a good idea.

Hi, it’s blog time

If I could invent something I want to invent a time machine. I want to invent this because it would be cool to go back to my childhood days when things were carefree. If you could go to a past year what year would you go back to? 

Recently I looked back to my photos when I was two years old, and I put those photos in a safe place. I looked so different and I cannot go back to when I was two right? But if I invented a time machine and say I want to go back to when I was two that would be awesome, I would be a little kid again. Maybe if I am not having a good day or anxious about something I could go back to my childhood days without worries or anxiety. Being a five year old is fun to go back to so that would be cool if I can go back to that age using the time machine. I am not sure if everyone will agree with me, but that's okay, we are all different. 

I could invent a machine that could bring dead people back to life again, because I know people feel gloomy when their loved ones pass away. It would be great if they have them back again. I know there's a lot of people out there that have already lost a friend or family member and that's very sad. 

I want to invent a printer for WhatsApp stickers and I can stick those stickers in my journal book.  So for those that have WhatsApp, you can download stickers through the Apple store or play store and another thing you can create is your own stickers too. You might ask how will you do that Jacinda? It's a piece of cake; you go to create and pick photos on your gallery then choose how you want your stickers to be and send it to that person. I don't just collect real stickers, I collect fun stickers on Whatsapp too. You can even create stickers of your favourite food and drinks, family photos, your favourite celebrity too so anything really as long as you save them on your gallery. I have stickers of KFC (my create own stickers) if I have my sticker printer invention I can print my KFC stickers and stick them in my journal and then if people in
Handmade ( a program a do with Umbrella) looked at my stickers they might be craving for KFC hahaha. 

I want to invent playground for adults including the elderly because some elderly like to be active like my nan on my mums side.

My invention would be doing a travel machine to see what my future looks like and protect people from not getting sick. My time machine would take me into the future and would bring the cure for cancer and all other diseases. I would make sure people don’t have to do chemotherapy and radiation.  My invention would help people access free medication. This makes me think of the people who have been exposed to cancer and I want to make sure there would be a cure from all the diseases and make sure they don’t get sick again. I hope my invention helps people to live a normal life without cancer in their body. I’ll try my hardest to make sure it works and if it doesn’t, I’ll do my best to try the experiment again. - From Ash
 
Hi friends how are you? Today’s topic is if you were to invent something what would it be and why. I have chosen to write about my invention and it is a hair colour changing brush .
The steps to apply colour to your hair are very easy.
1: Simply choose your colour, I would have twenty colours you can choose from.
2: Brush your colour through your hair.
3: You can use multiple colours if you like 
4: Your hair dries instantly too with my invention.

It’s simple, perfect, beautiful and stunning.
Unfortunately when I goggled my brush, shock and horror, I found it on Temu. That was the end of my invention before it even began. I’m disappointed and shattered but if you do want to dye your hair with a colour brush look up Temu.

If I could invent something, it would be a cloning machine to clone myself so that I can have endless amount of skin for all of my tattoos and piercings and all of the rebellious stuff, that the real Haley wouldn’t do on her own body. 

Firstly, I would get a tattoo of horror icons on the leg from the ankle to the thigh. My next leg would have Disney/ Pixar themes. I would get a full back tattoo, arms, chest area. Also another type of tattoo called scarification. Secondly the piercings I would get are almost unheard of. One would be a corset piercing, where they cris-cross the ribbon into the loops to form a corset design on the back. I would also get dimple piercings, also would get more dermals, which involves punching out a piece of skin then place an anchor into the hole then screw on the decorative jewellery,  one would be on the finger, on the hips and the chest area. 

Thirdly, because I have a fake eye, I could get a funky eye, even glitter eye. There are so many cool designs that human Haley wouldn’t dream of having. My invention clone would just walk around without the eye. 

Then I would make the clone, stretchy so I can go on rides, and tall enough to get on to the pub chairs without clicking or jumping down.  Also tall enough to go to concerts into the mosh pits without smelling peoples arm pits. Also, I would dye my hair all kinds of colours that the real Haley wouldn’t dare to do.  Even though Haley has done black and red, purple, red.

The clone Haley would have so many animals that she can’t have, she would have ferrets, chinchilla, more cats, probably any animals you could think of. Well that’s my invention. A clone of myself so my alter ego can come out without and do all of the things I wouldn’t dare to do personally. Human Haley may have tattoos and did have piercings and dermals,  just not to the visible eye.

My invention this week.
First I’m going to sell my two Xbox and my ps4 and I’m going to get a ps5. It’s going to be fun with Daz, Alannah and with Ash playing games.  
I’m going to look after myself so that maybe I can get a car and learn to drive. I will need something to help me steer so I need to invent a special steering wheel. I would also need an extra foot pedal thing. Maybe my steering wheel has a handle and buttons for cruise control and indicators. If my levels are good every day of every week of every year I can get a license.  - From TJ

Hello friends and fellow brilliant minds, today’s topic is ‘If we could invent something what would we invent?’ the minute I heard this was our topic, my brain went into overdrive, and I was a little bit excited to come up with an invention that would be new and exciting. Then a little thought popped in my head and the irrational thoughts won. Sorry readers, you might not be on board with my idea but since it’s completely fictional at this stage, I believe it’ll be ok.

So here is the idea, a bracelet that will shock you if you are unkind or cruel to another living being. Not a little shock either, like a whole out of body experience kind of shock and I say living being because I feel that you should be kind also to animals as well and it’s important to mention that this will be a court ordered accessory, there would be no ifs or buts. If you commit the crime you wear the bracelet. The shock will keep getting more powerful until you stop being unkind or cruel or until it knocks you right out and you need medical assistance. It will also alert the appropriate authorities of your location, and they will come for you.

The bracelet can only be removed two ways, by a designated law enforcement officer or if you die. So, to have it removed the person must change their behaviour or you wear it for life.  Each bracelet is made to last and survive all kinds of conditions as it may well outlive the wearer. Like with a criminal conviction you must disclose to everyone that you are wearing the bracelet, and you also will have to check in with your assigned law enforcement officer, a psychiatrist and your G.P.

Obviously, the bracelet would need to meet rules and regulations of all kinds, but I believe it could make our world better if given the chance.

Hello and welcome to another inventive blog. If I could invent anything in the world, I would invent a system where people who don’t have a disability get shot out of a cannon if they park in disabled spots. Once they get blown out of the car the car blows up so the person can’t leave where they are. I would also make sure that public transport is banned so that these people can experience how hard it is for people with a disability to function without these spaces. I would also invent a tie dye only rule so that wearing one colour clothing would be banned. Playing a sport would also be compulsory. What would you invent and why? How would it affect your quality of life?

Today’s blog is if you could invent something what would it be. If I could invent something it would be a mega diesel ship with an exhaust that’s submerged in the water and heats the water. The water will be used for hot showers, in the kitchen and galley, for taps and for heating the pool.
This will help by not needing any hot water systems, the water will come from the ocean but first it goes through a machine to remove the salt, making it useable.
The tanks will be stored on the bottom of the ship to make it stable. I would also put a pipe around the top of the ship to catch rainwater, this will need to be located where there are no access for people. I would make the pipes insulated to make it more efficient at heating.

Today’s blog is a fun one as we are choosing our own adventure but with a twist! Haley suggested we incorporate the word “Pair or Pear” in our blogs…THIS should be interesting!
 
Last week on Thursday, I spent a lot of time on-line to get a pair of AC/DC tickets.  I could never believe that I’m seeing AC/DC in November with my old man.  I have a pair of things to look forward to, the AC/DC concert, I’m five rows from the front. And what socks I may wear. There will be lots of lights on the front and the back of the stage so people don’t get lost. They are so many fans going to the same place as I am and I need to make sure I'm going to wear a pair of socks at the show.  What that pair is going to look like might be odd socks or one big or one small sock I don’t know, they might be a pair of or a different style of clothing that AC/DC will be wearing.  - Ash.
 
Our blog today is using the word pair, meaning two things that are related or meant to be the same. In my wardrobe I have many shoes and clothes that I have two of. l go shopping with mum and we are always looking for a pair of shoes for me and mum.
My favourite pair of shoes are pink and green and mums favourite colour is white and brown, we go there once a week or fortnight to shop and have lunch.

I also have pairs of love heart earrings which I am wearing today. I like having double of most things because if I damage like tear or stain I have another outfit the same to wear.
Having double things not only makes me realise that I am very lucky and that I need to maybe clean my wardrobe and take what I don't use anymore to the Salvo's and share my outfits to people who would wear and need them and it makes me happy because I am sharing. - Claire
 

I have chosen to write a topic about birthdays because everyone here likes birthdays. Most people like to have a big celebration, they like to have cake, candles. Usually, their loved ones will light a candle for the person celebrating and they all sing happy birthday songs to them. How do you feel when people sing happy birthday? Do you smile or do you find it uncomfortable like me? Then after the songs finished the people will shout " Hip hip hooray!" Then the person will blow the candles.


After blowing the candles, the person who is celebrating their birthday will pare their birthday cake, that is, cut the edges.  In this case cut their cake. Kids like to have a cute cake like Frozen, Hello Kitty, Winnie the Pooh. Then the celebrant and their families will eat the cake. They might eat snacks too. Some foods that you can have at a party are: chocolate, cookies, chips. If you want to have healthy food you can have a pear.

After the family and the celebrant are full from eating the birthday food, the celebrant will open the presents. Some ideas that you can give for a birthday presents are: A pair of socks, a pair of pyjamas.

I want to tell everyone what I prefer to do on my special day. I like to have a quiet day on my special day, I don't like it when people sing the birthday song to me and bring me cake. I like to keep it private. Instead I usually like to listen to music on my phone using a pair of earbuds, even though I don't like to make a big deal on my birthday I still receive wishes from my family. Most of my aunts like to send me GIF on my special day, I really love that because it doesn't make any noise . For example: A sticker of stitch holding a birthday cake. I also like to eat dinner at home. My favourite foods are: Spaghetti, chicken kiev and chips. I will use a pair of spoon and fork to eat my dinner, but back in my childhood days I really liked to celebrate with cakes and candles just like lots of people do, it's just after I reach adult age I don't like to have loud celebrations anymore.  I had a celebration at school when I was a kid in Indonesia, but I didn't have a cake I just gave all my classmates and my teacher goody bags. Then in the evening I pare a cake at home with my family.

My opinion about birthdays is just to do what makes you happy, you don't have to blow out candles or have a cake if you don't want to. If you want to just relax at home that's okay too or you can go on a fun adventure, like a holiday.

Walking along the footpath heading towards an Art Gallery on an Autumn day, the leaves are falling to the ground. I entered the art gallery, not too many people around.
I went anti-clockwise, as many people went the other way. I like to aimlessly roam around, I’ve got all the time in the day for me. I entered the statue exhibition which had about thirty different statues, full bodies and bust ones.  The artists who made them were incredible, capturing every detail. I wandered around for a while, then I entered a room themed with Greek mythology fruit. There was a column statue with a golden fruit basket on the angle, it was filled to the brim with fruit, bananas, apples, but there was also golden fruit on the wall with little notes beside each of them.
 
I walked around the room to see the different golden fruits there was a pear, the note says “In Ancient Greek mythology, the golden Pear was used by Prometheus for a distraction” I saw a golden apple, the note read: “In Greek mythology, the Hesperides guarded a garden full of golden apples that granted people immortality".
 
There were grapes on a vine. I read the note about them “Golden grapes are not really a distinct item, but the grapevine is somewhat associated with a Greek God called Dionysus, the God of wine".
 
I managed to see the whole exhibition before closing time. I quickly grabbed a hot chocolate from the cafe, walked outside and started my walk back home.  It was dusk, and still the leaves were falling, the wind had a cold breeze and the street lights flickered on. - Haley. 
 
 
Dear readers, this week’s topic is choose your own adventure.
Let me start by telling you about something I'm looking forward to, which is me going to the hairdresser to get my hair done. By the time you are reading this it will already be done with a stunning purple colour in it. I’m feeling really excited and happy to be getting my hair done and to get it coloured purple since purple is my favourite colour.

Recently I made spiced apple and pear and it was so yummy.

Hi friends, how are you? Today’s topic is choose your own adventure and we were given a word which was "pear" or "pair" to use in our blog today. Haley suggested our topic today, and what I have chosen to write about is:- I have no idea what to write as I always find choosing your own adventure the hardest topic to write about.

So now it’s time to think. Readers, what do you do when you can't think about what to write, or do? I asked the other bloggers what to write about and I still don’t know what to write. Someone suggested Google but I got no help there. So now I'm sitting here thinking of what to write. Sitting right in front of me is a beautiful pear so I think I will just go ahead and eat it. Today’s blog is choose your own adventure.
I’m going to be writing about the 747 shuttle carrier which is what NASA uses to transport space shuttle orbiters. In 1986, a space shuttle exploded seventy-three seconds after lift off, sadly killing seven astronauts.  This was due to a failure in a seal which allowed gas to leak out and cause the explosion. This was just one, imagine if it was a pair of them, that would have been even more catastrophic.

One day Sam had lost a pair of shoes and also lost his clothes. He was swimming in the pool and someone took off with his items.
He had to report it to the owner of the pool centre and they replaced them with a pair of pants and shoes so he could get home.

Hello and welcome to another weekly blog. Before I started this blog I needed a pair of cookies to inspire me today. Recently I was looking at multiple pairs of tye dye shoes which I absolutely love. I also needed to buy a pair of tickets for the cricket which is really exciting. I also love the fruit pear as it's really juicy and refreshing. Did you know that a pair can never be the same due to the DNA of the person and the uniqueness of things. I love wearing a pair of gloves when I play football as it keeps my hands clean. I feel like when I lose a glove or one of something, I have to throw the other one away. 
 
Anyway, writers block has hit this week so keep being awesome.

It’s a choose your own adventure kind of day... 
What goes into a choose your own adventure blog? I'm so excited that you asked, because you did technically ask while reading that sentence, ha-ha I got you and you love it, I'm sure. Every blog has a tremendous amount of thought and brain power that goes into it and honestly, it’s both infuriating and therapeutic for me because writer's block can strike at any time. More so when we do a choose your own adventure. It’s therapeutic because I love the writing process, it gets things off my chest and off my mind. Just like a brain dump and we love a good brain dump.  

A choose your own adventure starts with all of us deciding if we all would like to do a choose your own adventure blog, we all like to agree on a topic and it's the same when we do a choose your own adventure, we like to agree on it as a group or a team. The only difference between a normal blog day and a choose your own adventure blog day is we write about different things. That’s part of the magic of the adventure of writing our blogs, we can shake it up a bit every now and then.  

Choosing a topic for a choose your own adventure blog is something that can be tricky because it comes from your own brain and you might come up blank, this is why I enjoy being in a group setting for blogging. You get to bounce ideas off each other and really double down on the whole teamwork thing. 
It’s helpful that we have so much inspiration in our lives for our blogs too. I find it’s great to take a break and have a little snack while writing our blogs and give ourselves a brain break.  

When we have finished our blogs, we get them edited or checked over for a bit of quality control as I like to call it. Did I mention we only do a choose your own adventure blog once a month? Our blogs are always awesome, so we read them out to the group and have a bit of a read though before we finish off with some lunch. Speaking of lunch, how does everyone feel about pear? I’m not a fan at all but I appreciate those who love them. I’m truly happy for you.

I like apple the best but they taste like apple juice.  It’s so yummy but something I do like is the apple cider like a beer. Some of them are dark juice or light juice some are different types of apple.  I like apple better than pears.
 
Pears are not really my favourite, but taste like something weird. They taste like pears but different from apple, they are my favourite type but pears taste very weird for me.

​MY ACHEIVEMENTS SO FAR THIS YEAR
 
Can you believe we are six months into the year? Have a think back to the start of the year and all the wonderful achievements you have made in this time.
 
Today, our bloggers share with you the awesomeness (is that a word?) that they have created this year so far…
 
Today I am writing about the first 6 months of the year. 
 
 
This year I have already done so much, I have gone on a holiday, learnt new moves at dancing, watched lots of movies and heaps more! For my holiday I went to Canada and LA with my family for 6 weeks. I went to Disneyland and bought some jumpers, went on some rides, enjoyed the characters, watched the shows, and ate yummy food. They had the best hot dogs ever... I saw the snow in Canada. It was freezing cold, so I liked to stay inside with a hot chocolate and warm food. I saw bears on my trip which was a bit scary, but I did take photos. I had the best time on my holiday. It's one of my favourite things to do. This year I have also been dancing on Wednesday nights, and this is where I learnt my new moves that I love to show everyone. I learnt a dance to a Shrek 2 song, I love the movie Shrek and I can't wait until Shrek 5 comes out so I can watch it. This year l've gone to the movies with my friend Krystle on Saturday's and we have watched so many movies, my favourites have been How to train your dragon, Lilo and Stitch and Snow White. I'm looking forward to watching the Karate Kid and the Smurf's movies when they come out. I've also achieved a lot this year with Umbrella Support, I have been bowling without bumpers, done blogging, enjoyed Hellow Media and interviewing people, and have been making lots of cool things at handmade on Mondays. - Claire.
 
At the start of the year, I wrote down  a few goals for myself for 2025, and I’m very happy with how I'm going with my goals this year. I've had a few holidays within the first six months.  Firstly Hamilton Island, Coffs Harbour, Coffs harbour didn’t go to plan but we managed to rearrange our trip. 
 
 My most recent holiday was to China, and I just got back on Tuesday night. 
China was amazing, I went with my dad on a tour with a group of thirty-five other people, which was the first for me to do a trip like that. It was non-stop, there were many first times for me.  My first time going on a speed bullet train, the first time I saw the Great Wall of China, I unfortunately couldn’t make it up there, but my dad made it up to the top of the fourth building.  The food was amazing, I wasn’t brave to try anything adventurous but I did try a few new things. 
 
I also did my first ever Foam marathon in February, which was great, it was near Belgrave and was a long day that’s for sure.  There was a bouncy castle with foam, I did a flip into it and bounced my way out of it.  I also got a permanent reminder of the marathon, I tell you it wasn’t even from any obstacle, it was from a stick that fling up and scratched my leg. 
 
I also had a goal of a photo a day for 52 weeks, but I only made it up to about week 12, and that’s okay, at least I gave it ago.  I also tried doing a new Facebook page where I would do jigsaw puzzles and watch a movie of the same theme, for example a Disney puzzle, I would watch Disney movies.  If there was a run down building, I would watch abandoned buildings. It was a good idea, because I would watch movies that I never watched before, like session 9 and Dead Game.
 
All up, I’m pretty happy with how the first six months of 2025 is going and I’m hoping the next six months of 2025 is as great as the first six months.  Maybe I should write more mini goals for the rest of the year and at the end of the year I’ll see how many goals I’ve achieved. 
 
I prefer to do mini goals, so if I don’t achieve them, it’s not a big deal.

In February this year I went to Sydney to see Bryan Adams with my dad and the highlight was going to the wax museum seeing all different famous people like from Ned Kelly to Steve Irwin. It was so interesting seeing Sydney and I absolutely loved walking around with my dad and meeting some friendly people in Sydney.   The public transportation was a pain because you had to use your bank card to tap on and tap off and it was so frustrating because there were so many different train lines and lots of people were in the rush and pushing in as well. The highlight was seeing James Arthur and Bryan Adams. It was a great concert and my favourite songs are "Everything I do, I do it for you" and "Please forgive me" and "Summer of 69" and "All of one, All for love".  I absolutely loved seeing Bryan Adams because my father saw him in the eighties and again in the early nineties. 
I came home with bad vertigo and I was in the hospital with vertigo and it was not fun at all.  Now I’m all better from having vertigo and now I don’t have vertigo that often so for the next six months I will focus on myself to lose weight and feel comfortable with my body again. - Ash
 
 
Hello and welcome to my midyear blog. Yes, it's midyear already. How quickly time flies. I feel like I’ve achieved a lot in the last six months but at the same time its hard to put it all into words. I’ve definitely improved my footy skills. Work has been good too and I've been super busy which has been good as I love being busy. For those that don’t know I work for a well known disability organisation.  I love working in the media as I feel like my disability disappears.  I have continued to improve my independent living skills which has been good. I have planned a couple holidays for the back half of the year which I’m really looking forward to. I’m always looking to improve myself to be the best version I can be for my family and friends. I’m looking forward to saving up for my holidays as it gives me something to look forward to. My first six months of the year.  
Every Monday I go to Umbrella and Tuesday I go to work with Krystle and Wednesdays I go to bowling with my friends.   Sometimes on the weekend I hang out with my good friend.  Anyway, every Thursday I come here and Friday I go to work same thing every week.  Sundays are a rest day.  On June 27th there is a new movie coming out on Netflix.  I am saving up my money for a Play Station 5 and a new controller with the Joker on it in gold and orange colour.   TJ
 
 
Dear readers, this week’s topic is something you have achieved in the past six months.
Let me start by telling you in the past six months I have achieved so many things. I started the new program at Umbrella Support called Hellow Media, which is an afternoon program and I feel excited every week when I come to the media group I get to see all my friends. I have realised that I've been more confident and I've started to step out of my comfort zone. I have learnt new skills like using the cameras, the clapper, learnt to set up the equipment, asking leading questions from someone's response.
 
I've learnt to come up with interesting questions to ask the person being interviewed and how to ask them with confidence. I’ve grown a lot from doing Hellow Media so far and I want to continue improving and learning new skills for the rest of the year.

What I have achieved in the last six months is that I have finished my book.  I have been at Umbrella for the last six months, and I would like to keep working with Rechelle (My support worker).
For the next six months, I would like to keep going to do my job for Down Syndrome Australia. and help build a Instagram page for them.  I like to work with the people and I want to make it bigger with some merchandise and I would like to write it.

I have a very inquisitive mind and love working with my hands.
In the early start of the year I went to work and found some parts for my next project, I put together a motor from a mobility scooter and made a cart, it had many different parts which I had in my shed. I like to keep a lot of my tools and equipment in stock so I can always have them ready to use when needed. My main interests are lawn mowers where I take them apart and use the parts for other projects.
My projects can take awhile to do as I am always looking for spare parts on eBay or spare parts shops.

I have a good friend that when we get together we are always thinking of inventions that we can come up with. We put a lawn mower together with a new gear box and when we started it up, it took off and crashed into my big standing black tool box and dented it.


For the next 6 months I hope to find more interesting objects to pull apart and put back together with my friend. From Nick
 
Morning friends. How are you?

I have achieved something huge this year, and that is blogging from home every Thursday morning. I have decided not to come to do it onsite because it's nice and quiet doing it from home and I have work every Wednesday afternoon.  I will be too exhausted but lucky Krystle always remembers to send me the topic that the team has chosen and I can call the Umbrella Support staff if I am really stuck on what to write.

How do I feel about blogging? Firstly, I was feeling apprehensive because it's a new program, but I had a one on one meeting with Cindy. She said that there is nothing to be anxious about and she gave me some topic ideas like: family, special occasions, happiness and more. Then after I had a meeting with Cindy I started to blog on that Thursday. The topic when I first started was "what makes you happy".  

Another thing I have achieved is trying new food on my break in May. I tried souvlaki with chips, eating outside even though cockatoos were on our table, I also tried babycino, a drink at McDonalds. On holidays I have to deal with being out of routine. Lunch times are often a different time for example but I managed.

I also watched the J-hope livestream concert twice at the cinemas with mum. Mum likes his songs very much, I am proud of that because I usually love to watch children's movies but the J-hope concert was fantastic, very lively and a lot of dancing. A lot of teenagers and young adults like it, but anyone can like his music. You don't need to be young to listen to his music.
