Having something to look forward to can make life more exciting and give us a positive focus each day. Whether it’s a holiday, a special event, learning something new, or reaching a personal goal, these moments can bring us happiness and motivation. It’s also important to celebrate the things our friends are looking forward to, not just our own plans. Being happy for others and sharing in their excitement helps build strong friendships and reminds us that good things are even better when we can enjoy them together.

There are big and small events I’m looking forward too, tomorrow, I’m going to see Toy Story 5 in Gold class. It’s one of my favourite kids movies.
All of my events are only little but I’m still looking forward to them.
My friends Sabrina and Shane brought me a bed for their place which is so kind of them to do that. And we are going for a little getaway at the end of June somewhere near Bright which also will be amazing, going for four days. Poor Diego will have to stay in the Cattery.
Then in October I’ll be looking after Diego while they go visit Ned, one of our friends.  So I’m excited for them to go up there.
I’m also excited for my other friend’s baby shower on Sunday which will be amazing.
So you don’t just have to be excited for your own events, your own achievements, you can be excited for the people around you too.
Haley.

What I am looking forward to. I am always happy and I know I have lots of things to look forward to. I am looking forward to another holiday one day soon.
I like Disney and I love a Disney cruise. So I am looking forward to my next one, the next Disney holiday I hope is to Shanghai. I hope to see the Disney palace, and the different Chinese Disney characters. All the Disney Parks do it a little differently.
I am looking forward to Saturday soon to see Toy Story 5, and I can't wait because it has been on Krystles movie list for two years.
There are lots of movies I am looking forward to like the next Frozen movie, She-Rah superhero movie, live action Moana and the new Spiderman movie. Thank you for reading my blog, Claire.

Hi friends, how are you all today? Today’s blog topic is something to look forward to now or in the future. My mum's partner Brendon, on Mothers Day, proposed to my mum, and got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. My mum was so happy and said “yes”. We are so excited for both of them. I got to help him choose the ring without Nan and Grandad and my family knowing.
We celebrated by having a lovely dinner at home with all the family around the table. It was such a happy occasion and to see my mum and Brendon so happy. They haven't set a date yet but it will be in the future.
I am hoping that I will be asked to be in the wedding party, but either way I get a new outfit for the wedding of the year. My makeup will be done and I’ll have fabulous new shoes, also having my hair styled. Not only will I look like a princess, but I’ll feel very special.
This is Beth with love and happiness in my heart, knowing the future ahead is looking bright.   Signing off until my next blog.

I’m looking forward to seeing new movies. I want to see the live-action Moana movie that comes out in July. I also want to see Toy Story 5 when it comes out because my favourite Disney character is Jessie from Toy Story. I’m really excited for Frozen 3, but that doesn’t come out until late next year, so I have something to look forward to for a long time.
I also want to watch Inside Out. It’s something I can watch at home on the weekend, which is nice to look forward to. If I like the first movie, there’s a second one to watch too! I would also like to watch Sofia the First, Tangled, The Little Mermaid, and Descendants. I’m looking forward to my birthday in August! I get to see all my family and friends. I get birthday cake and presents, and my family sings Happy Birthday to me.
I’m also excited because my friend Alice is coming to make coffees with me on Fridays, do cooking with me on Tuesdays, and come out into the community with Sheridan and me. I’m excited to show Alice my cooking skills and show her that I can use the escalators all by myself!
Goodbye from Ronalda.

Tonight I looking forward to seeing I Prevail with two support bands, Imminence and Invent Animate at John Cain Arena.  This is going to be awesome seeing these bands, I will be knacked tomorrow.
In July I’m looking forward to seeing Gaerea, also they are a metal band and I can’t wait to see them. I cant wait to see the movie Evil Dead Burn, it is going to be so good.
In September I looking forward to seeing Ice Nine Kills with the bands Electric Callboy and Coldrain.  Electric Callboy is going to be terrible but we will just leave.
I have another night to look forward to in October I looking forward to seeing Lorna Shore with Whitechapel and Acacia Strain at John Cain again, it is going to be very heavy night. Korey.

What am I looking forward to?
I am looking forward to my talk about digital champions through Down Syndrome, Australia, I get to talk in the city. Down Syndrome Australia has told all the people who do digital champion it is going to be extended for a bit longer.  I am happy about this. I'm also looking forward to my friend coming home from Queensland. She comes back from Queensland on Sunday and I'm looking forward to that.
Ben2.

Do you have something to look forward to? When this topic was chosen, I was unsure what to write because life has been quite ordinary for me at the moment.
There is a movie coming to the cinemas, Toy Story 5, and I am looking forward to watching it with my mum because she is my movie buddy. Dad will drop us off and pick us up afterwards. We usually go to the movies on Tuesday nights because Mum and Dad work during the day. I am looking forward to eating popcorn and drinking soft drinks while enjoying the movie.
My parents' anniversary is in September. We usually do something fun together. During the lockdowns, we celebrated at home and had an ice cream cake from Wendy's. At that time, we were a big family at home with Mum, Dad, my brother, my grandparents, and me. My parents are still unsure what they will do this year because September is still a long way away. I do not think we will go on a fancy holiday, maybe just a local trip. Last year, we stayed in the city for two nights, and I remember doing my blog there because I was blogging online at that time.
I am also looking forward to going on another big holiday overseas, although I do not know when that will be because Dad usually plans our holidays. Last year, we went to Indonesia. It was hot and tiring, and Dad said he would like to visit again one day but without doing too many outdoor activities because of the heat. I have not been back to Jakarta, where I used to live. I would love to see the area where I grew up because there have been many changes. My friend's mother told me there is now a McDonald's there. When I lived there, there was only a minimarket and Dunkin' Donuts.
I also look forward to seeing my overseas relatives again. I am not a big fan of loud gatherings, but I love spending time with my relatives because they live far away in Indonesia while I live in Australia. I have many cousins on my mum's side, but one cousin talks to me often. She sometimes sends me messages and digital stickers on special occasions, so it would be lovely to see her in person again.
I am also excited about visiting countries I have never been to before. I do not have a dream destination at the moment, but I enjoy travelling. Sometimes travelling can be challenging because I can get jet lag and my sleep is not always smooth when I am in a different place.
My grandma from my mum's side might visit at the end of the year. I have learned to deal with little changes, like not having the house to myself on my days off. I enjoy staying home alone because it is quiet, but when Grandma visits, the house can become noisier because she likes chatting with her friends. However, it is only temporary, and it is something to be grateful for. I might ask her to bring me some long summer pyjamas because I do not like wearing shorts when I sleep. She might also bring lots of Indonesian crackers, which I would enjoy.
Thank you for reading. This is Comfort Queen Jacinda signing off.

Dear readers, this topic is something that you are looking forward to. Let me start by telling you about what I'm looking forward to.
I'm looking forward to going on holiday to Fiji soon and I'm feeling so excited because I'm not just going on holiday but I'm also going to a wedding, as one of our family friends is getting married in Fiji.
I'm so excited to be going on my holiday for another reason as well because this is my first International family holiday in years.
Some interesting historical facts that I researched on the internet about Fiji is that the majority of Fiji's islands were formed through volcanic activity starting 150 million years ago.  There is still geothermic activity on the islands of Vanua Levu and Taveuni.
Fiji was settled first by the Lapita people sometime between 1,500- 1,000 BC. Europeans visited Fiji from the 17th century, and it became a British colony in 1874. In 1970 Fiji became an independent nation.

The best part of my day/week...

Today we’re talking about the best parts of our days and weeks. Sometimes it’s the little things that make us smile, like spending time with friends, enjoying our favourite activity, or relaxing after a busy day. Everyone’s favourite moments are different, and that’s what makes this topic so interesting! In this blog, we’ll share the parts of the day and week that we look forward to the most and why they are special to us.

I'm going to tell you what the best part of my day is. I’ll start off by telling you, I like night time better than daytime. I like night time because I get to sleep. I also like looking at the sky, I see the stars and the moon. I like dinner time because my mum or my sister make dinner, and my whole family will sit at the dinner table to eat and that makes me feel happy.
The best part of my week is the days that I make coffee, which are Wednesday and Friday's. I love making coffees. I also really like doing cooking! I feel happy when I make coffees. I love getting to see my friends each day, but making coffee's with them is my favourite.
I'm going to finish by telling you the best part of the month! Dinner with friends! It's my favourite! I love dinner with friends!
Ronalda signing off!

Last Friday, I spent time with my parents. We went to a local shopping centre.
There is a Wendy’s ice cream parlour. My favourite is the cookies and cream megashake. I drank it last Friday and even though it is winter, I can still drink cold drinks.
We also did grocery shopping last Friday. We used to go on Saturdays, but now we have changed it to Fridays.
Last Thursday, I went to Bridgewater to do my blog. I alternate, so I blog at home one week and onsite the next week. We wrote about things we are good at, and it was my idea to suggest that topic.
I also taught Bernie how to create her own stickers on WhatsApp. It was her birthday week, so she also received a birthday card and flowers. I introduced her to the Colour by Number app called Happy Colour by Number. She really enjoys it because she loves colouring in. It is a good app to use anywhere, for example when waiting at the airport or when you have nothing to do.
After blogging finished, my support worker picked me up and I chatted with her in the car. When I got home, I watched Toy Story. It is a great movie, but Sid is the villain who tries to destroy the toys. I have watched Toy Story many times.
I remember they used to play Toy Story 1 and 2 on Saturday nights on Channel 7. I do not think they play kids’ movies on TV as much anymore because people now watch movies on Netflix and Disney Plus.
On Sunday, I went out for dinner with my parents. It was not a special occasion, just a family dinner. We went to Hunky Dory fish and chips. I remember the first time I went there was during COVID. We usually go to the Eastland store. We have also been to the Knox store, but we prefer the Eastland one. I ordered fish and chips with salad. It was delicious, but there were a lot of chips. I felt very full, but I still finished it.
Last Monday felt a bit different. I do not always like change, but I know it is part of life. We had Carol, Martina, and Chrissie. Cindy is away in Bali, so we FaceTimed her. I was wearing a mask that day because I had an itchy throat. I did not like it because it felt annoying.
For lunch, I had fried rice. We also painted our own pets. Some people chose dogs and some chose cats. I chose a cat. The cat box was very pretty, with pastel colours like baby pink and aqua, and it was also transparent.
In the afternoon, it was raining so we could not go to the park. Some people felt disappointed because they wanted to do outdoor activities, but I adapted and stayed inside.
We played group games before home time. It was a memory game where we had to remember what each person said. If we got stuck, the support workers helped us. I really enjoy being included in group games and activities.
Thank you for reading my blog. This is Princess Jacinda signing off. Bye bye.

Dear readers, this week's topic is what is the best part of your day?
Let me start by telling you what my best part of my day is and my best part of my week is.
Friday night was the best because I can unwind from the week I had.
How I unwind is by reading one of my Twilight  books or playing games on my phone or watching a movie on my TV. Talking to my best friend or writing in my journal is also helpful.
How do I feel when I'm  unwinding  from a week? happy, calm and relaxed .
What is your favourite time of your  week and day?
Written by Charlotte.

The best part of the day is when I can watch Disney on my iPad. I get up at 8.30am to have breakfast with my mum, which she makes every morning, she is such a good cook and I know mum loves doing that for me.
Once I help clean up I can get my iPad and watch my Disney movies. I get very comfortable and Bella Boo sits beside me, first we watch Tangled, and then Lion King and maybe we watch Mulan this is my perfect morning.
I always feel happy that I can enjoy this time and I know that I have many more to watch.
We have Disney Plus and sometimes mum watches with me. It makes her happy that we can spend time together and both love the same movie.
I have many Disney outfits which I have bought on the Disney cruises. It makes me feel happy and grateful that I am able to enjoy my life with the best feelings.
Everyday is always a best day for me. Claire.

My favourite part of the day the is about nine o’clock at night when I carry Maggie out for the toilet then turn my phone torch on to help her see in the dark. Then bring her and Banshee inside for bedtime, sometimes I trick Maggie and go into my parents room and hide.  I peek out from the corner and she goes like this “hmmm-hmm”  like she’s telling me off for tricking her. Then I say “come on guys, let’s go feed the zoo animals”.
Sometimes if Maggie is really annoyed at me, she’ll  go and try jump on Banshee. Then I get their bowls, their friend Shan made for them.
Then I hop into bed, get my “Emily” a teddy bear a group of my friends got me as a present.
Turn the television on, watched it for a while. Then Banshee and Maggie get comfortable too. I love the fact that  Banshee will slam his body right next to me in the creases of behind my legs. Sometimes Maggie sleeps near the pillows
near my head, sometimes if I accidentally touch Maggie, she goes “hmm-hmm”.
The other night, Banshee was in Maggie’s spot, so I told Banshee to come over to the other side, he kindly got up and moved, then I heard Maggie purr, doesn’t usually purr in my room. So she was happy she got her spot back.
My best part of my day is always with my cats.
Also another quick part is when I take them out the back, where they follow me out the back near the pool and they have an adventure, like they’re in the jungle.  But as soon as one of my parents comes out, they both run in.  I feel like I’m their safe place and they’re my favourite cats to be around.
As you’ve been reading the best part of my day being my cats and my routine, there’s never a dull moment at bed time with them.  Another part I like is when Banshee wakes up, wakes me up with a little meow and fishy breath and purring.
Your friendly cat leader Haley.

The best part of my day is when I make the 3D animation.  I am so clever to make it and I'm a really good voiceover artist.
My best part of the week is when we watch Collingwood game but we lost the game against Melbourne this week, but that's okay. It’s still “go pies”. We just watch Melbourne Storm instead as we won the game by two points and I’m so glad we won and “go storm”!
Another best part of a day is when I go to the concert to see the heavy metal band my best part of the band is Ice Nine kills, Slipknot, Slaughter to Prevail, Vended, Imminence, Lorna Shore, Metallica, We Came as Romans, Caskets, Polaris, Thy Art is Murder and Pantera.  I can't wait to see I Prevail with Imminence that will be awesome.
I have another best part of my week and that is making the horror film movie. We made the blood and gore and the cool make up and I'm looking forward to see this at the end of the year. Korey.

In today blog I am going to talk about the best part of my day and the best part of my week.
The best part of my week is the days that I go to the tip as it is my favourite place to be. I work at the tip on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10 to 2. I get a 30 minute break but i usually
just eat and got straight back to work because that is how much i love it.

The best part of my day is when I get to work on whatever I'm making/fixing building at the time. Currently I am working out how to make a test bench. I’m looking out for some pieces that I need at the tip that I currently dont have.

This is Nick signing off see you next week.

Hi friends, how are you? Today's topic is what is the best part of my week? The best part of my week is Fridays. Let me tell you why, I get to make coffees and see my friends and support workers. This makes me feel happy.

The best part of my day is the day time as I attend Umbrella 5 days a week. Mondays are art and crafts, Tuesday is cooking, Wednesday is making and serving coffee, Thursday is blogging and media and Fridays is coffee again! I enjoy getting to meet new people and getting hands on making coffees. We are working on the word respect and what it means? R E S P E C T means responsibility, empathy, support , patience, equality, communication and trust.

We had a lovely girl join us on Wednesday this week, and I remember I have met her before!  It is so good to have her in our group!!
Readers, what makes you happy? Let us know in the comments below. We love hearing your comments.
This is busy bee Beth signing off until next time.

If I was to get deep into my thought processes about this blog topic I would say that the best part of my day and week would be waking up in the morning. Being gifted with another day of life is wonderful, even if I’m not feeling super motivated or enthusiastic about the day ahead. The best part of any day starts with the day itself. Also with a coffee I’ll take iced coffee or a hot coffee both bring joy.

Each day of my week is filled with small joys that sometimes I might take for granted. If I’m really lucky I’ll wake up first thing in the morning and be greeted by the adorable face of our dog Chop. If I’m honest most of my small and big joys involve Chop. Not to leave out Katut our bird though who has a funny way of making my day wonderful. Even if she’s not in the most friendly of moods, she still makes my day happy with her chatting, yelling and dancing. She just wants everyone to know she’s here in this world and she will be heard! I think the best part of any day should involve our animal/insect family members.

Bedtime is also a great part of my day because I love being warm and cosy in my bed, I believe everyone loves their bed and I’m hear to say that it’s a valid feeling to have. Our beds are a safe and cosy place to be, especially if you’ve just change the bedding and you’re feeling fresh for bed.
I enjoy being surprised with extra bits of joy like someone sprinkling glitter for me to find or stumble upon. Though I’m not much of a fan of any other surprise so don’t get any ideas please.

What is the best part of you day or week my friends? If you feel like it you can answer in the comments. Love to all of you wonderful people!
Your friend always,
Shan.

What’s the best part of my day? I love to message people and also, I like going on my phone to talk to people. I like Wednesdays as I work with Down Syndrome Australia. I also like Tuesdays swimming and I do art in the afternoon. I also love my work because I work for Downey Drive Australia.

Things we are good at...

Hello everyone!
Today we’re talking about the things we’re good at and how those skills make us feel. Everyone has different talents and strengths, whether it’s being creative, helping others, playing sport, cooking, making people laugh, or learning new things. When we do something we’re good at, it can make us feel proud, confident, happy, and motivated. In this blog, we’ll be sharing some of the things we’re good at and how they make a positive difference in our lives. We hope our stories inspire you to think about your own strengths too!

Today's blog is about things I am good at and how they make me feel.
I'm good at lots of things, but something that I love to do is dancing! I do dance class every Thursday, I'm really good at remembering all my new moves every week. Dancing makes me feel happy, I like dancing in class but also in my Umbrella groups with my friends, and at home to some fun music. My favourite music to dance to is Disney music, I know almost every song. I'm also really good at bowling. I have my own bowling ball and love when I go with my friends. It makes me feel happy when I win and get a high score but I'm still happy even when I don't win because I try my best and have fun.
I'm really good at making coffee now which makes me feel proud of myself because that is a new skill that I have learnt this year. I've learnt how to make a coffee shot, steam the milk, pour the milk, serve the coffee and even take orders from customers. Now that I've learnt these skills in the cafe, I now make my family coffee at home which makes me so happy. I get really excited about making coffee and I look forward to my days on Wednesday.
I like to help out with cleaning, I'm good at cleaning my room, doing the dishes, folding the laundry, helping with food shopping. I also like to help clean at my programs by changing bins, sweeping, vacuuming and wiping down benches. Helping out makes me feel a part of a team.
This is Claire signing off, l'll see you next week.

Today's blog is about things I'm good at and how that makes me feel.
I'm going to tell you some of the many things that I'm good at! I'm good at cooking, I enjoy cooking. Last week we made fried rice and chicken skewers, I was really good at making the chicken skewers with Steph. I would place chicken then capsicum, then chicken then onion it was just like a pattern I was really good at following this. I'm good at washing the vegetables and mixing ingredients together.
I'm good at going on the escalators at the shops now, I used to be afraid of them. Now I feel brave and I think they are so nice. I now tell Sheridan I want to go on the escalators, she used to ask me to go on them, now I'm more eager to get on them to show her I'm brave and I can do it.
I'm good at making coffees, I learnt how to make coffees this year. I make coffee at the cafe with my friends on Wednesday and Friday. I like making coffees. I learnt how to warm the milk and making it soft and fluffy, I also learnt how to make a coffee shot, then how to add the milk to the coffee.
I'm good at singing and dancing, I love singing and dancing. I'm good at singing my favourite songs and I'm good at dancing to music. I love dancing at dinner with friends.
I'm good at being kind to others, I compliment others and I ask if they are okay.
Good bye, Ronalda.

Things I am good at and how it makes me feel.
I have a good memory of putting objects back together. I’m lucky to work at the tip for two days every week where I find very interesting gadgets.
There is a lot of metal, cardboard and plastic in the waste and even electronic equipment. We call that e-waste. I even tried putting a computer back together and I couldn't believe I even got it to work.
When it comes to lunch time with Chris my friend, we have lunch lunch at the food truck which comes into the tip. I ask for one sausage roll and a strawberry Fanta, it is something I look forward to and have lots of laughs together.
I work for four hours a day, for two days and it keeps me active. This is my special gift and knowledge that I share with all of my friends.
Nick.

Today we are blogging about what we are good at and how it makes us feel.
I think part of being human is exploring what we are good at and if it brings us joy. Some things take a bit of work, time and patience to be good at them and others you might just be naturally good at. I know from experience that there are somethings that we just might not ever be good at and they will become the bane of our existence. Giving everything a go whether you think you’ll be  at it or not can be super rewarding and a great experience too.
I feel like it’s easier to see what other people are good at rather than what you, yourself are good at. I think I’m really good at seeing what other people are good at though, I think I have an appreciation for it and sometimes someone might need a gentle reminder that they have a gift or talent for something. It makes my heart happy to see other people doing well and excelling. It’s a privilege to be apart of and to witness.
I would say that I am an incredibly creative person. While I might not be good at everything creative. I’ll give almost anything creative a go, it’s not always a success and that’s ok. Sometimes things come to us to teach us a lesson in life. The universe is a bit wacky like that. Anyway I’m a big advocate for giving things a go when it comes to creative activities.
I am good at drawing, it’s something that makes me happy but also it’s something I can channel my feelings into. I’m good at writing. Writing makes me think and gives my brain a bit of a workout while also helping me to feel calm once I’m done. I’m also good at sewing, sewing sometimes tests my patience when I’m learning a new technique, or it’s a new fabric that isn’t what I’m used to and this is all ok because it’s still something that in the end brings me joy.
I’m actually good at a lot of things when I really think about it. I don’t really want to “toot my own horn” or brag about what I’m good at but maybe we should be more positive towards our talents. Have you thought about what you are good at?
Thank you for reading our bogs.
Your friend always,
Shan.

The one thing I am really good at for my 3D animation is I made the walk cycle and I’m really good at the voice over and you know what, I am the voice as the Villager.
On Friday I am really good at making the coffee, I really am good at the coffee machine.
On Wednesday I am really good at making the film from my other program.  I am really good at doing the camera from the shot list to make sure is nice and perfect.
I am really good at making the stop motion I made the walk cycle, and I make the mouth for the face.
On Tuesday I am really good at making my claymation, but first I make sure to make the skeleton. I am going to make the Tim Burton style film with stop motion.
I am really good at uploading onto YouTube so everyone can see my animation and it was funny and hilarious.
Korey.

Today’s topic is something I am good at. How does it make me feel? What are you good at? I am good at remembering people’s birthdays. Even though I do not share my date of birth publicly, it does not stop me from remembering other people’s birthdays. Some people sometimes forget, but I try my best to remember. My family also remembers my birthday and wishes me every year, even though I do not like loud attention. It feels like kindness in return. I wish them on their birthdays too, and they wish me on mine. If it is an important document, I will write my birth date, but for small talk I prefer not to share it.
I am also good at being attentive. I notice things that other people might miss. For example, at school I noticed a classmate who was never absent. I also remember my Umbrella Support friends’ favourite things because I spend time with them often. For example, Claire likes dancing and going to the movies with Krystle because she talks about it often.
I am also good at helping customers at my supermarket job, even though I am an introvert. Sometimes customers ask me where items are, like lunchboxes, and I tell them the aisle number. I like my job, but it can be noisy at times because families bring their children shopping. I do not enjoy loud or busy environments because they can feel overstimulating, but I still focus on my work.
I am also good at expressing my opinions. I have strong preferences about what I like and dislike. Blogging helps me with this because I can express my thoughts freely. I also feel happy that people are quiet and respectful when reading blogs, even if they do not always agree.
I feel proud that I can do blogging now. I did not start when it first began in 2023 because I was hesitant at the time and preferred other activities like handmade crafts and work. Last year, Cindy and Martina encouraged me to try blogging because they noticed I wrote nice captions on my Instagram photos and enjoyed writing greeting cards.
I also have a good memory. I remember many small details from the past, like having a baby Mickey and Minnie bowl when I was younger. It was very cute.
I am also good at asking questions. I think asking questions is important in life. My brain is very literal when it comes to social language, so I often ask ChatGPT or my support worker for clarification. For example, I once asked whether when people say “you should,” it is controlling or just a suggestion. ChatGPT and my support worker explained that it is usually just a way of giving advice or suggestions, not forcing anything.
I am also learning to be more assertive, like saying no when I need to. At school, I was more shy and passive, but now I am improving. However, I can still sometimes become defensive.
I feel proud that I am good at some things. I think it is important to recognise what we are good at.
Thank you for reading.
This is Princess Jacinda signing off.

Hi friends, how are you? Todays topic is what am I good at and how does it make me feel?
I'm good at singing, cooking, always there for my friends. I’m good at adjusting to changes including my braces, coffees, arts and crafts, blogging, media being comfortable in front of the camera, being brave for my shots and at the dentist, asking for help if I need, writing by myself but having a little bit of help writing my blog, conquering the stairs after slipping or falling with a bit of help from support workers, using the coffee grinder putting it in the coffee machine and using the steam wand to warm the milk.
I'm really good at public speaking with a support worker next to me. I spoke in front of a hundred people at the Anzac day at the Lyrebird Community Centre.
Readers what are you good at and how does it make you feel? Let us know in the comments below, we would love to know. Blogging Beth signing off for another week.

I would say I’m good at puzzles, not sure why though, but everyone says they don’t have patience for them. I can sit there for hours doing them. I’ve done since I was a little kid, from memory my first puzzle was a little mermaid floor puzzle and I would take it everywhere.
I mainly do 1,000 to 3,000 piece puzzles. I have also done a sphere one, the top of it was hard, it was plastic and I had to push the pieces in without it falling in the sphere and collapsing. I’ve done numerous of puzzles in my life time,
One time I even did a blog type where I would watch movies of the theme of the puzzle. For a Disney puzzle would watch a Disney movie. For abandoned places I would watch abandoned places movies. I did for a while. It was quite hard but I did it.
There are puzzles of the same colour or even clear, I’m not really game to do them, that would do my head in.
I’ve done two puzzle competitions, one with my dad, and one with my a support worker.  There were so many people there. It makes me feel like I’ve accomplished something when I finish a puzzle, until there’s a piece missing that also annoys me.

Welcome readers!
This week’s blog topic is “Choose Your Own Adventure,” and our bloggers have taken that idea in so many creative and exciting directions. From magical castles, Disney dreams, and dancing adventures to Lego, animation, jobs, merchandise design, and favourite cartoons, every blog shares something unique and personal.
Each writer chose their own path and invited us into their world, showing us the things they love, the adventures they imagine, and the experiences that make them who they are. Some blogs may make you laugh, some may inspire you, and some may even remind you that asking for help, being yourself, and enjoying what you love is always important.
We hope you enjoy reading all of this week’s wonderful adventures!

Today I’ll share with you something I enjoy doing. I love dancing and I love singing! One of my favourite places to dance and sing is at Dinner With Friends. I love Dinner With Friends. We do a Dinner With Friends once a month on a Tuesday night. I look forward to it every month. Dancing makes me feel happy. I like dancing with Sheridan and my friends. We dance on our breaks at the cafe, we dance at cooking, and we dance at media.
We dance and sing at Morning Melodies and Dinner With Friends all in the same day! It’s the best!! At Morning Melodies we make scones for the people who attend, then we serve them. After we serve them, we get to sing and dance! The dancing is my favourite part!!
Sheridan and I sing and dance in the car. I love listening to “The Climb” by Hannah Montana. I know lots of the words to this song! Sheridan plays all my favourite songs and it makes me very happy. We listen to “Zoo” from the new Zootopia movie — it’s one of our favourites! I love listening to Disney music and singing and dancing along. I like Frozen music, the Barbie song is one of my favourites! I like The Lion King music too.
I’m very excited because Dinner With Friends is next week!!

I want to start this blog by asking the readers a question: Have you ever watched Disney Junior? Maybe when you were a child, or maybe you know it because you have little ones in the family who watch Disney Junior.
I did not grow up watching Disney Junior because it was still Playhouse Disney back then. I remember watching it at my grandparents’ house. I started to know Disney Junior more when I went to Indonesia in 2013 and saw my little cousin watching it during her spare time. I remember seeing her watch Gaspard and Lisa and Doc McStuffins. I sat with her and joined in watching Disney Junior.
Disney Junior has many amazing shows such as Doc McStuffins, Jake and the Never Land Pirates, Henry Hugglemonster, and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. They also played shows that were not originally from Disney Junior, like Gaspard and Lisa, Timmy Time, Hi-5, and more.
Disney Junior plays cartoons all day, so kids can watch them anytime. Even though Disney Junior is mainly for babies and preschoolers, older people can enjoy it too, even if they do not have children. The cartoons are simple, colourful, and comforting. I actually prefer children’s cartoons more than adult dramas.
My favourite Disney Junior cartoon is Doc McStuffins. I have already watched all the episodes on Disney Plus. I also like Sofia the First and Gaspard and Lisa. These cartoons make me feel happy and relaxed.
However, I never had Disney Junior channels at home because my parents preferred free-to-air TV. They thought paid TV channels would cost too much money, and they worried I would spend too much time watching television instead of doing homework or other activities.
Now I have Disney Plus and Netflix, so I can watch cartoons there anytime. I mostly rewatch movies. The Disney Junior slogan is “Where the magic begins.” I like how the ident is colourful, and I also like how they use Disney characters as part of the Disney Junior logo design. Some of the idents even include real people too.
Before I signed up for Disney Plus, I bought some Doc McStuffins and Sofia the First DVDs. I remember watching them during weekends. I also remember that 7flix used to show Disney Junior cartoons in the morning, but I only watched them during school holidays.
My message to all readers is that Disney Junior can be enjoyed by anyone, not just little kids. It is okay to like something outside your age range. Do not let anyone stop you if they say you are too old or too young to enjoy something. I still remember advice from my teacher aide: “Age is just a number.”
Thanks for reading. I hope your day is magical.

On the weekend I was still making my animation about Villager driving the truck, and I’m not giving you any more spoilers because it is going to be funny and very hilarious.
On Monday I almost finished my animation for YourDNA. It is going to take hours to make it.
On Tuesday I was making the clay animation for stop motion. I also started making the skeleton for the clay animation. I’m going to make a Tim Burton-style video. It is going to be great, like The Nightmare Before Christmas.
On Wednesday we were making a camera shot contest to make sure all the shots looked different.
Last week, my dad, my sister and I went to meet Scott Pendlebury at Village Green Hotel. I gave him a handshake and took photos. It was so awesome to meet him. He’s 38 and one of the greatest Collingwood Football Club players.
The guy hosting the event was so funny. He kept telling jokes and everyone was laughing.

Disney is my favourite thing in the whole wide world. I love Disney so much.
I’ve been to Tokyo Disney Resort, but for my adventure today I’m going to Shanghai Disney Resort. I’m so excited because we are not going on a plane, a cruise, a bus, or a car — we are going on a magic carpet. Aladdin is taking us there. Mum and Dad are coming with me on the magic carpet. If there’s enough room, I will take my niece and cousins too. It’s going to be so much fun, but it might be a little bit scary, so I need to be very brave.
We are all going to go on all the rides. Aladdin is coming on the teacup ride with me. We are going to do so many magical things while we are there.
I’m so excited about this adventure.

Every time we come to choosing a topic for a blog, it’s a bit of a discussion because we choose and agree on a topic together. Today is a “choose your own adventure” blog, so we all go our separate ways as far as writing topics are concerned. That can make it hard to find a topic, and it can feel like you’re alone, but I can almost guarantee that if I asked my fellow bloggers for help, they’d all jump in with ideas. Also, our lovely umbrella queens (supports) would be more than happy to help out too.
Much like in our blogging sessions, sometimes when we go to do things in life, it can be challenging and we might need to ask for help. Many times we may feel like asking for help is some kind of weakness or that we have failed in some way. I believe that asking for help is powerful, and there’s nothing about asking for help that means that you have failed. This sounds like the beginning of a deep and thoughtful blog, doesn’t it?
Bit of an odd way to start a blog that is about LEGO, but that’s just how I roll, and it will tie in nicely, I’m sure. I love LEGO so much. I have many different Lego figures and sets in my collection. I like to think I’m really good at building Lego. Even though I’m very confident about building Lego sets, I know that if I got stuck on any of the harder sets, or even the easier ones too, I can ask for help. A fresh pair of eyes could be the only thing needed to solve my problem.
Building a Lego set with someone else can be really rewarding and extra special. Nothing about it would be a failure — it would be a group effort, and I believe it adds value to the Lego experience. Lego has a way of making people smile, bringing joy, and teaching you new things. Lego can bring people together — it’s building Lego and building connections in life. Even with smaller Lego sets, you can build them with a group, because small is mighty.
In conclusion, it’s important to remember you can ask for help, working as a team is wonderful, and Lego is awesome!
As always, your friend,
Shan.

Today’s blog I am going to talk about my job at the tip.
I work on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I sort the rubbish, pull things apart, and move furniture to the shop. I love working at the tip because I get to pull stuff apart, which I find fun, and I love to work with my hands.
I like that at the tip, if I find something I like, I get to buy it for 5 dollars. I am always buying things I find, like headphones, computers, scooters, and more cool things like that.
When I take things home, I normally pull them apart and try to fix them. Sometimes when sorting through things, I find weapons, and when I do, I have to put them in a lock box.

I did a Unicorn range, and Dino's will be going on my Instagram soon. I will also be doing a range for people with disabilities. The first one will be about epilepsy. Hopefully I will sell some books as well.
I like designing my merchandise and putting new things up on my website. I also have a catalogue that I put new pictures in.
People can buy what they want from my range, and I bring the catalogues to markets too. I do this to show people what is on my website and what products I have done.
I think people like the designs that I make, and that’s why they buy the clothes or stickers that I have in stock.
From Ben.

Dear Readers,
This week’s topic is “Choose Your Own Adventure.”
Let me start by telling you that I feel a little bit under the weather, and that’s why I’m not at blogging and media. How do I feel about that? I feel sad because I miss my friends, and I hope to be back soon.
Readers, I have a question: if you were stuck in a castle with your pets, what would you do and where would your castle be located?
My castle would be located in Paris, and I would have servants look after my pets and clean the entire castle. I would play with my pets and go to royal events like royal balls and royal horse shows.

Hello, how are you all, my beautiful friends?
This Friday I went out for movie afternoon and we watched Star Wars. Oh lord!
Today is cold outside, but I’ve got a jacket, so it’s okay — no worries. This weekend I’m not sure what I’m doing yet, we will wait and see. Next week is a new day for me and I will have fun with my friends, of course.
Mmm, what else? Oh, I wake up in the morning between 4 and 6am. I don’t know why my brain wakes me up lol. I have nightmares because I watch too many scary movies haha — silly me!
All my life is good and I love hanging out with my mates.
I watch scary movies all the time because I love scary stuff. I have scary things in my room at my house too. I really like Chucky, Ghostface, and Michael Myers and all different types of scary movies.
I always go on YouTube and watch scary stuff, which probably makes my nightmares come true! Seeing scary things actually makes me feel relaxed.
See ya all, from TJ.

Dear readers, how are you?
Today’s topic is “Choose Your Own Adventure,” and I have chosen to write a story about royals.
Once upon a time there was a queen named Maya, a princess named Rosie, a king named Jake, and a prince named Lucky. They lived in a huge, great big fancy castle with chefs and lots of other people to look after them. They were all very happy living there in their fancy castle until one day there was a big fire… Ohhhhh nooooooo!
They all ran out of the castle and picked up all of the animals on the way out. There were three bunnies, two kittens, two cats, five guinea pigs, an elephant, and three horses. So many pets and nowhere to live. The Queen said, “I think we need a house, a very big one.” So the King put everyone to work finding them a house. Princess Rosie found them a big apartment — a huge one. It was the penthouse on top of a great big hotel. That worked so well because all of the people who looked after the royals could go and work in the hotel. Most of the pets lived in the penthouse with their family, but the elephant and horses lived in the backyard. It was a very big backyard.
They all lived happily ever after with their crowns and tiaras in their penthouse.
THE END.
Thank you for reading my blog. Let us know your “Choose Your Own Adventure” in the comments below.
This is Beth the Story Teller signing off until the next adventure.
