Welcome readers!
This week’s blog topic is “Choose Your Own Adventure,” and our bloggers have taken that idea in so many creative and exciting directions. From magical castles, Disney dreams, and dancing adventures to Lego, animation, jobs, merchandise design, and favourite cartoons, every blog shares something unique and personal.
Each writer chose their own path and invited us into their world, showing us the things they love, the adventures they imagine, and the experiences that make them who they are. Some blogs may make you laugh, some may inspire you, and some may even remind you that asking for help, being yourself, and enjoying what you love is always important.
We hope you enjoy reading all of this week’s wonderful adventures!

Today I’ll share with you something I enjoy doing. I love dancing and I love singing! One of my favourite places to dance and sing is at Dinner With Friends. I love Dinner With Friends. We do a Dinner With Friends once a month on a Tuesday night. I look forward to it every month. Dancing makes me feel happy. I like dancing with Sheridan and my friends. We dance on our breaks at the cafe, we dance at cooking, and we dance at media.
We dance and sing at Morning Melodies and Dinner With Friends all in the same day! It’s the best!! At Morning Melodies we make scones for the people who attend, then we serve them. After we serve them, we get to sing and dance! The dancing is my favourite part!!
Sheridan and I sing and dance in the car. I love listening to “The Climb” by Hannah Montana. I know lots of the words to this song! Sheridan plays all my favourite songs and it makes me very happy. We listen to “Zoo” from the new Zootopia movie — it’s one of our favourites! I love listening to Disney music and singing and dancing along. I like Frozen music, the Barbie song is one of my favourites! I like The Lion King music too.
I’m very excited because Dinner With Friends is next week!!

I want to start this blog by asking the readers a question: Have you ever watched Disney Junior? Maybe when you were a child, or maybe you know it because you have little ones in the family who watch Disney Junior.
I did not grow up watching Disney Junior because it was still Playhouse Disney back then. I remember watching it at my grandparents’ house. I started to know Disney Junior more when I went to Indonesia in 2013 and saw my little cousin watching it during her spare time. I remember seeing her watch Gaspard and Lisa and Doc McStuffins. I sat with her and joined in watching Disney Junior.
Disney Junior has many amazing shows such as Doc McStuffins, Jake and the Never Land Pirates, Henry Hugglemonster, and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. They also played shows that were not originally from Disney Junior, like Gaspard and Lisa, Timmy Time, Hi-5, and more.
Disney Junior plays cartoons all day, so kids can watch them anytime. Even though Disney Junior is mainly for babies and preschoolers, older people can enjoy it too, even if they do not have children. The cartoons are simple, colourful, and comforting. I actually prefer children’s cartoons more than adult dramas.
My favourite Disney Junior cartoon is Doc McStuffins. I have already watched all the episodes on Disney Plus. I also like Sofia the First and Gaspard and Lisa. These cartoons make me feel happy and relaxed.
However, I never had Disney Junior channels at home because my parents preferred free-to-air TV. They thought paid TV channels would cost too much money, and they worried I would spend too much time watching television instead of doing homework or other activities.
Now I have Disney Plus and Netflix, so I can watch cartoons there anytime. I mostly rewatch movies. The Disney Junior slogan is “Where the magic begins.” I like how the ident is colourful, and I also like how they use Disney characters as part of the Disney Junior logo design. Some of the idents even include real people too.
Before I signed up for Disney Plus, I bought some Doc McStuffins and Sofia the First DVDs. I remember watching them during weekends. I also remember that 7flix used to show Disney Junior cartoons in the morning, but I only watched them during school holidays.
My message to all readers is that Disney Junior can be enjoyed by anyone, not just little kids. It is okay to like something outside your age range. Do not let anyone stop you if they say you are too old or too young to enjoy something. I still remember advice from my teacher aide: “Age is just a number.”
Thanks for reading. I hope your day is magical.

On the weekend I was still making my animation about Villager driving the truck, and I’m not giving you any more spoilers because it is going to be funny and very hilarious.
On Monday I almost finished my animation for YourDNA. It is going to take hours to make it.
On Tuesday I was making the clay animation for stop motion. I also started making the skeleton for the clay animation. I’m going to make a Tim Burton-style video. It is going to be great, like The Nightmare Before Christmas.
On Wednesday we were making a camera shot contest to make sure all the shots looked different.
Last week, my dad, my sister and I went to meet Scott Pendlebury at Village Green Hotel. I gave him a handshake and took photos. It was so awesome to meet him. He’s 38 and one of the greatest Collingwood Football Club players.
The guy hosting the event was so funny. He kept telling jokes and everyone was laughing.

Disney is my favourite thing in the whole wide world. I love Disney so much.
I’ve been to Tokyo Disney Resort, but for my adventure today I’m going to Shanghai Disney Resort. I’m so excited because we are not going on a plane, a cruise, a bus, or a car — we are going on a magic carpet. Aladdin is taking us there. Mum and Dad are coming with me on the magic carpet. If there’s enough room, I will take my niece and cousins too. It’s going to be so much fun, but it might be a little bit scary, so I need to be very brave.
We are all going to go on all the rides. Aladdin is coming on the teacup ride with me. We are going to do so many magical things while we are there.
I’m so excited about this adventure.

Every time we come to choosing a topic for a blog, it’s a bit of a discussion because we choose and agree on a topic together. Today is a “choose your own adventure” blog, so we all go our separate ways as far as writing topics are concerned. That can make it hard to find a topic, and it can feel like you’re alone, but I can almost guarantee that if I asked my fellow bloggers for help, they’d all jump in with ideas. Also, our lovely umbrella queens (supports) would be more than happy to help out too.
Much like in our blogging sessions, sometimes when we go to do things in life, it can be challenging and we might need to ask for help. Many times we may feel like asking for help is some kind of weakness or that we have failed in some way. I believe that asking for help is powerful, and there’s nothing about asking for help that means that you have failed. This sounds like the beginning of a deep and thoughtful blog, doesn’t it?
Bit of an odd way to start a blog that is about LEGO, but that’s just how I roll, and it will tie in nicely, I’m sure. I love LEGO so much. I have many different Lego figures and sets in my collection. I like to think I’m really good at building Lego. Even though I’m very confident about building Lego sets, I know that if I got stuck on any of the harder sets, or even the easier ones too, I can ask for help. A fresh pair of eyes could be the only thing needed to solve my problem.
Building a Lego set with someone else can be really rewarding and extra special. Nothing about it would be a failure — it would be a group effort, and I believe it adds value to the Lego experience. Lego has a way of making people smile, bringing joy, and teaching you new things. Lego can bring people together — it’s building Lego and building connections in life. Even with smaller Lego sets, you can build them with a group, because small is mighty.
In conclusion, it’s important to remember you can ask for help, working as a team is wonderful, and Lego is awesome!
As always, your friend,
Shan.

Today’s blog I am going to talk about my job at the tip.
I work on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I sort the rubbish, pull things apart, and move furniture to the shop. I love working at the tip because I get to pull stuff apart, which I find fun, and I love to work with my hands.
I like that at the tip, if I find something I like, I get to buy it for 5 dollars. I am always buying things I find, like headphones, computers, scooters, and more cool things like that.
When I take things home, I normally pull them apart and try to fix them. Sometimes when sorting through things, I find weapons, and when I do, I have to put them in a lock box.
This is Nick signing off.

I did a Unicorn range, and Dino's will be going on my Instagram soon. I will also be doing a range for people with disabilities. The first one will be about epilepsy. Hopefully I will sell some books as well.
I like designing my merchandise and putting new things up on my website. I also have a catalogue that I put new pictures in.
People can buy what they want from my range, and I bring the catalogues to markets too. I do this to show people what is on my website and what products I have done.
I think people like the designs that I make, and that’s why they buy the clothes or stickers that I have in stock.
From Ben.

Dear Readers,
This week’s topic is “Choose Your Own Adventure.”
Let me start by telling you that I feel a little bit under the weather, and that’s why I’m not at blogging and media. How do I feel about that? I feel sad because I miss my friends, and I hope to be back soon.
Readers, I have a question: if you were stuck in a castle with your pets, what would you do and where would your castle be located?
My castle would be located in Paris, and I would have servants look after my pets and clean the entire castle. I would play with my pets and go to royal events like royal balls and royal horse shows.

Hello, how are you all, my beautiful friends?
This Friday I went out for movie afternoon and we watched Star Wars. Oh lord!
Today is cold outside, but I’ve got a jacket, so it’s okay — no worries. This weekend I’m not sure what I’m doing yet, we will wait and see. Next week is a new day for me and I will have fun with my friends, of course.
Mmm, what else? Oh, I wake up in the morning between 4 and 6am. I don’t know why my brain wakes me up lol. I have nightmares because I watch too many scary movies haha — silly me!
All my life is good and I love hanging out with my mates.
I watch scary movies all the time because I love scary stuff. I have scary things in my room at my house too. I really like Chucky, Ghostface, and Michael Myers and all different types of scary movies.
I always go on YouTube and watch scary stuff, which probably makes my nightmares come true! Seeing scary things actually makes me feel relaxed.
See ya all, from TJ.

Dear readers, how are you?
Today’s topic is “Choose Your Own Adventure,” and I have chosen to write a story about royals.
Once upon a time there was a queen named Maya, a princess named Rosie, a king named Jake, and a prince named Lucky. They lived in a huge, great big fancy castle with chefs and lots of other people to look after them. They were all very happy living there in their fancy castle until one day there was a big fire… Ohhhhh nooooooo!
They all ran out of the castle and picked up all of the animals on the way out. There were three bunnies, two kittens, two cats, five guinea pigs, an elephant, and three horses. So many pets and nowhere to live. The Queen said, “I think we need a house, a very big one.” So the King put everyone to work finding them a house. Princess Rosie found them a big apartment — a huge one. It was the penthouse on top of a great big hotel. That worked so well because all of the people who looked after the royals could go and work in the hotel. Most of the pets lived in the penthouse with their family, but the elephant and horses lived in the backyard. It was a very big backyard.
They all lived happily ever after with their crowns and tiaras in their penthouse.
THE END.
Thank you for reading my blog. Let us know your “Choose Your Own Adventure” in the comments below.
This is Beth the Story Teller signing off until the next adventure.
