If my mind was a room...

Can you imagine, just for a moment that your mind was a room?
What would it look like? If you opened the door to walk in, what would you see, how would you feel and how long would you stay?

This week our bloggers explore just that…

Today’s blog topic is if my mind was a room what would it look like?

If my mind was a room it would be Disney themed and very colourful. The walls would be pink with a Frozen 2 painting on one side and a Disney Princess theme on the other side. It would have lots of Disney things in the room including books, teddies, figurines and other memorabilia.
In my wardrobe I would have lots of Disney clothes and all of the Disney princess costumes, I also have all the accessories like hair clips and jewellery and a whole drawer of Mickey Mouse ears. I would also have a dancing studio in my room so I could practice all my new moves. My room will always smell pretty like my Tinkerbell perfume. Everyday there would be a new character who comes into my room to meet me, we will have dinner together and maybe watch a movie, a Disney movie of course. My room would be so much fun and I'd never want to leave, it would be my happy place. Although I may leave to go bowling and handmade and all my other fun activities.

This is Claire singing off, see you next week.

My special room would be made in a bunker which would be built twenty feet underground on my families property.
I would install an automatic scissor lift to make it easier to get to the top and so it doesn't take up much room. The walls would be made of rough iron and metal objects to keep the noise out. This bunker will be as big as the MCG, and I will have my mini Army jeep. To get my jeep out I will have automatic doors that open upwards on the surface and the jeep would be able to drive to the main house. I will also have a tunnel to get me to my friends who have also installed tunnels so we could catch up.
This magical room would have the latest ventilation that would make it easier and comfortable to be able to live in this bunker for a very long time. The walls would have to be made at least 5ft thick of concrete. I, as you know, have many, many tools and objects that I have collected over the years and this room would be the ideal place to store all my goodies.
This is Nick signing off.

Dear friend, I like to do car racing. I do help for wheeling from car and now my family friend is helping to go car racing.  So anyway, how about tomorrow it’s movie time but will still work of course.
If my room was my mind it would look like sometime clean.  I don’t clean my room much and sometime mess my room so I need to stay clean. My room will be a gamer room and sometime I eat in my room.   But sometimes my room smells bad so I have to clean it. At night I call my friends and they love to see my face when we call on video.  From your friend TJ

Today’s blog is about a room and what would be in your room if it were my mind. My room would have heaps of shark and Southern Sons posters all over my walls and the best thing in my room is looking at the posters and making sure my whole rooms walls are covered and make sure that there is no white showing on my walls. If there is any white walls showing I’m not going to be happy as my room is my bedroom and safe place. When I’m not in a good mood or dealing with my headspace my room is my go-to.
When I get the chance in my room I’ll clean and make my bed and open my window to let some fresh air in. I love listening to the rain so my room will always have rain outside. My room is so peaceful that I can go there whenever I like. The best thing is playing on my PlayStation 5 with my games or watching true crimes or watching southern sons on YouTube. Another thing that would happen in my room all the time is having Jack Jones singing to me and pretending that I’m at a Southern Sons concert in the 90s with John Farnham as well. Take care and see you soon, signing off Ash.

Dear readers this week’s topic is if my mind is a room.
Let me start by telling you about my room. In my mind is purple with glitter and would have a kitchen in my room. I would be able to cook in my room and I would have a built-in stove on my kitchen island to cook on. I would also be able to eat off my bench and I would have a smart screen fridge, coffee machine, remote control curtains and a smart TV.

My brain is not for the people who like a lot of colour. It would have wooden floorboards with a funky rug that is Snorlax the Pokémon and the skeleton on the other side of the Snorlax.
One side of the room is painted black and be full of horror miscellaneous from the movies.
The wall would be full of Toy Story miscellaneous items from the movies, the wall would be painted sky with clouds like in the movie, with “Haley’s Room” in the Toy Story font.
The last wall I would decorate would be painted as a mural of the Shrek swamp with the sign saying “beware ogre”
So as you can imagine my room would be dark and gloomy but with only a bit of colour.
My bed would be a king size bed for myself and I would have another king size bed for my four Maine Coons cat named Coco a pure white cat, Pearlman a ginger cat, Herman a black but with a grey mane, and a ragdoll named Percy. Again a bit of colour.
I would also have two dogs, one which is a Tibetan Mastiff named Bruce and a French bulldog named George Boy.
The horror themed side would have living dead dolls, figurines of the main killers of the movies, I would have their masks on mannequin heads.
The Toy Story side would have the sky with the clouds and Haley’s room in the Toy Story font. like I mentioned. I would have all of the toys from the movies including the green army men, and I would have loads of Mr Potato heads and slinkys. They are my favourite.
Finally there would be a tattoo gun, also there will be a few bean bags. Just to lounge around.  Also would have all of my favourite band posters.
But there won’t be any mirrors, not a big fan of mirrors.
The roof would be a light but it would be cotton balls all over and it would mimic thunder and lighting.  My favourite type of weather.

So as you can see my brain is mostly all dark. But I do slip in a little colour. And that’s the way I like it.
I also love how my friends and my brains are totally different but we are still friends.
Thank you for entering my brain for a short time
Haley.

If my mind was a room what would it be like.
It would be a pink room full of “everyday people” merchandise like hats, tshirts and cups.
The walls are pale pink and the carpet is brown, the windows are clear.
I use an iPad to make my designs.
My inspirations come from Instagram and then I show my support worker and then she puts it on my online store.
I make items to order. Sometimes when I do markets I have the
stock with me and people can buy them or order online.
If you would like to see my designs please look up everyday-people.printify.me
Thanking you reading my blog
Ben

My room will be the big animation set as I am making the character for my animation.
I just downloaded the world and I make sure it looks so cool.
I have a cartoon voice and I love making the sound effects. I am really good to be as the cartoon voice and I was the voice as the villager and the witch.
I love making the bone rig for my animation to make sure it’s so cool.
I got the camera for the animation and, I make the scene to make sure is nice and cool too.
I like making the shape key for the animation to make sure is nice and cool as the face.
I love doing the voiceover for the animation to make sure is nice and clear.
I use the website yourDNA to make sure my room is big and the wall is white, they have lots of computers.
In my mind, my room is my bedroom where I make my animation at home. I clean my room with the vacuum, and make sure it’s nice and clean.
I was making the stop motion in my bedroom, and it is good fun.
Korey.

This week’s topic is “if our mind was a room.” It’s my first time doing this topic, and I found it a bit tricky, even though I always look forward to blogging every Thursday morning. I’m going to push myself and give it a go.
If my mind was a room, the colour would be pastel yellow with rainbows, fairies, unicorns, princesses, and castle wallpaper. My bed has Minnie Mouse bedsheets and a matching doona cover. My room is full of plush toys, such as teddy bears, Cheep-Cheep fish (big and small), Stitch, Minnie Mouse, Hangyodon, and My Melody. There is also a glow in the dark blanket.
There’s a radio player with headphones, and it can connect to Bluetooth like a speaker. I would play ambient music or Disney songs. There’s also a smart TV with Netflix, Disney, Stan, and other streaming services, and of course, YouTube. I have a beanbag too it’s red with white polka dots. Do you have a beanbag in your room?
There’s a shelf for colouring books, with Fabell Castell forty eight pack colour pencils and a twelve pack of pastel colours because pastel colours are calming. I also have a star nightlight, so you can see beautiful stars on the ceiling at night.
Outside the room is a garden like the resort I stayed at in Bali, so the door must stay closed to keep insects out. The room will be warm and cozy when it’s cold, and I’ll have an air conditioner when it’s scorching hot because I don’t like the heat.

If this room existed in real life, I’d be very happy. I could watch movies, sit on the beanbag with a bag of potato chips, and wear my cozy outfit. I’d also do colouring with my regular and pastel pencils.
This room is perfect for me when I’m having a bad day. I can go inside, choose any activity I want, and relax without being disturbed.
Do you like my imaginary room? If you do, which part do you like the most the plush toys, nightlight, garden, or beanbag?
Thank you for reading my weekly blog. This is Princess Jacinda signing off. See you next week, friends!

If your mind was a room, what would it look like?
I find in life that I put an invisible mask on, or at the very least there is a filter. And being the wonderful neurodiverse human that I am, I have learnt coping strategies to help blend into the rest of society when it's necessary because not everyone understands people might be different. I find myself adapting and changing for the different situations in life because I don't want to be too vulnerable or be judged as I can be a little bit like Weird Barbie from the Barbie movie. So basically I'm just saying that my mind is full on and I shield the world from it. You're welcome.

My mind as a room would be extremely full on, looks like a unicorn vomited rainbows on the walls, also the ceiling and the floor. It's an extremely colourful and glittery room with matching furniture and a random patch work armchair in between the windows. There's music playing but you can never be too sure what the song actually is, it also never plays to the end, but it's super catchy and you'll be humming it for a week. Anxiety will jump out from a corner to remind you of something you said or did wrong six years ago so maybe you might want to look out for him. There are very colourful bean bags amongst the piles of books about random topics that may or may not be useful information. Read at your own risk though because once you go down that path you might not resurface to reality. I have many different tabs open on the laptop that's sitting on the rainbow glittery table in the middle of the room, another thing that you read at your own risk because its a time waster and you might lose a few days.

Don't open any of the cupboards, you'll upset anxiety or the creatures living inside will be startled, not sure what creatures are in there at the minute as I don't have a list I just let anyone in that needs a home. I’m pretty sure somewhere in the room there's a couple of craft activities that need finishing, feel free to give them a go or start a new one, that's what I do. There is a black box labeled “do not open” and as the title suggests we don't open it, that's where the intrusive thoughts live so it’s best not to let them out, might get me into some trouble or they might be very funny.  I’m not sure which so we won't find out today.

I do feel like I could go on forever about my mind as a room, however this is a blog not a novel so I will finish up here.
Thank you for reading and have a beautiful day.

Your friend,
Shan.

If I could talk to my pet...

Let's for a moment think about what our world would be like if we could talk to our pets! What would we chat with them about? Would they talk back? Would it be fun?... Today our bloggers imagine this possibility...

In today’s topic we are talking about animals. My two favourite animals are a great white shark and a werewolf. Firstly, I would love to see if sharks can try to talk underwater but I think that’s impossible.
I would like to be a werewolf because I like to protect my pack and look out for my pack as well and have a secret code that no one can try to crack. I can tell when a shark is angry because their mouth opens wide and their teeth will be showing. As a wolf, if I was really really angry I would be growling at the other wolf packs to tell them to go away. I’ve always wanted to be a shark to swim in the ocean and do nothing because that’s the whole point of being a shark isn’t it? And being a wolf means I can roam around through the night. Keep on reading my awesome blogs signing off until  next week Ash.

Today we’re blogging about if our pets could talk.
I like fish, so in my imagination, my fish’s name is Bubbles. She’s baby aqua with baby pink spots. Bubbles is a friendly fish who always says, “Good morning!” to whoever wakes up in the morning. When she’s super excited, she talks a lot — that’s how she expresses herself! I’m the same — when I’m happy or excited, I can be a little chatterbox too.

Bubbles lives in an aquarium decorated with a castle, rocks, and green plants like the ones in the Super Mario underwater levels. I showed her all my Cheep-Cheep collectible plush toys and said, “Look, Bubbles! I have a fish soft toy too — his name is Cheep-Cheep. He’s mean in the game, but he’s a friendly soft toy.”
Bubbles replied, “He’s such a cute toy, Jacinda! You’re very lucky to have him.”
“I know! He’s rare — not many people I know have this toy,” I said.

Then I showed her Jeff, the Umbrella teddy bear. “This is Jeff,” I said. “He belongs to my support group — everyone gets a turn to look after him if they want.”
Bubbles said, “He’s very cute too! I love his color.”
“Me too,” I said. “Yellow is such a positive color.”
There’s another pet in my imagination too — a hamster named Cheeky. He’s light brown, friendly, and just a little bit cheeky (that’s how he got his name!). He loves eating hamster mix and cucumber. Cheeky is a spoiled hamster with a cozy cage full of fun decorations — a hamster wheel, a food bowl, and a lime green slide leading to his light blue castle. Sometimes he peeks through the castle window.
He also likes to surprise me by saying, “Boo!” when I’m quiet or daydreaming — that’s Cheeky being cheeky!
I showed him my Cheep-Cheep plush toy and Jeff the Umbrella bear too.
“Awesome toy, Jacinda!” Cheeky said. “I love the colors — such happy colors!”
“I know!” I replied with a smile.
I’m so grateful to have two new imaginary pet friends — Bubbles the fish and Cheeky the hamster — even though Cheeky can be a bit naughty sometimes! I told my Umbrella Support group about them, and they were happy for me.
If animals could talk, what would their personalities be like?
Would they be friendly, naughty, loud, or quiet?
Thanks for reading about my imaginary animal friends, Bubbles and Cheeky.
This is Jacinda, signing off — until next Thursday!

I had a dog called Ollie he was my best four-legged friend and we had him for fifteen years. We were inseparable, I was kind to him and he was lovable to me. If Ollie could talk I am sure he would have loved every moment we shared together. We would love to go to the beach but once Ollie ran off and went under a fence, but unfortunately it was an electric fence and we heard a yelp, it hurt a little but he never did it again.
If Ollie could somehow talk to me I am sure he would have said that he loved me and we had so much fun together over the fifteen years we had him. He would jump in bed with me when he was younger and snuggle up to me, which in a dogs language and thoughts means he was so happy to be with me and have cuddles in bed. I sometimes would treat him as a human and share all my thoughts with him.
Ollie would show me his affection by jumping all over me and lick me when he is happy, this shows me that he loved his life with me, and his tail would never stop wagging.
In dog’s language he would say he had the best time of his life and loved all his toys and that his treats and food were delicious.
This is Nick signing off.

Banshee chapter one.
Banshee is a very clingy cat, I think his voice would be very quiet.
I think he would only talk to me, because he’s a one-man-person.
He wouldn’t talk too much, he just likes to hang out in the backyard in the sun with me, but in the winter time, he would complain a bit more because of the weather being colder and wetter. He’s a cat that loves the sun and being warm.
If I’m not paying him any attention, he would kindly demand me to pay attention to him. He’s a little bit cheeky and tries to trick me to go out.
Recently he got a cardboard haunted house, he tries to invite me in there, but sadly I can’t go in there. He’s very polite though and still invites me.

Maggie chapter two.
Maggie thinks she’s a princess and she would speak very posh and elegant, and sometimes, a bit rude.
Once she’s up, everyone would hear her stomping to wake everyone up so she can get her first feed of the day.
She usually spies on me like Hannibal Lector in the dark shadows until she see’s me move around.  She waltzes into my room and demands her second breakfast for the day.
So our conversations would mainly be about food, how pampered she is.
Sometimes we do make fun of her, and she does look a bit sad, so she would probably tell us to shut up.
She does this thing where she lies on her back and looks at every single one of us humans and we all say “she’s beautiful” then she puts a smile on her face.
But yeah, mainly our talks would be about food or her telling me to stop annoying her because I love annoying Maggie.
Banshee and Maggie have conversation with us, it would be great.
I would love if cats could talk, but I guess you have to be careful what you wish for, once they start talking they may not stop.

Hayley

My puppies name is Maverick.
If he could talk he will ask about going for a walk.
I think he would also like the same music as me and will ask to come to the Metallica concert.
I think my dog will be funny and say jokes.
It will be so much fun talking to my puppy, he can tell me about the videos I make and what he liked about them.
He tells me about making my animation in a blender, and he would think it was awesome and it was good fun to make.
He tells me about his favourite food, he tells me about dog food but I like human food.
How cool I have a talking dog like the movie, but not for reals.
This is Korey signing off and wishing you a good day.

Hi readers, how are you? Todays topic is if animals could talk what would your pet say to you and I have chosen to write about all animals. If they can talk they would say “I love you, leave me alone, play with me, or I want food, come with me, I’m hungry, can we go for a walk, feed me now, pat me, or come here, feed me, stop turning on the lights, this tank is too small, can I have a bigger tank, could you get me a new friend, I wish you could take me with you wherever you go. Why are you eating fish in front of me, don’t touch my belly, why are you not feeding me, stop petting me, I can pee where I want to, you can’t tell me no, don’t push me, you are not the boss of me, haha pick up my poo and clean up my wee. How dare you push me off. How rude of you to kick me outside and not let me back in”.
Thank you for reading my blog readers, this is bubbly Beth signing off, until next week.

Hello everyone, I play with my dog and her toys. She is so cute and I love my dog so much.  Every time she sits near the outside front door she need a to go to toilet.  Every time she follows me around the house and sleeps on my bed so I don’t mind if she plays with me tonight. Every time Ruby smells my blood-sugar she will always move her head under my arm and say I need to check my blood sugars. Now that is what we call a smart dog. TJ

Dear readers, this week’s topic is if I could talk to our pets and animals this is what it would look like.
Let me start by telling you if I could talk to our family dog who is a little French bulldog who’s name is Gucci. Gucci is very sweet until you cheat on her by playing with another dog. If Gucci comes home and sniffs you and smells another dog, I think she would say “How dare you for playing with another dog!”  And she would say “I hate you for cheating of me” and give me an evil look.

Today’s topic is about animals.

My friend’s dog is named Toffee. I think Toffee would ask me for some food and a walk. I would tell Toffee about my day and he would tell me about his.

Ben 2

We (my family) have two beautiful animals who live the most amazing lives being spoilt to the high hills, they live the life of royalty and are 100% valued members of our family as all pets/animals should be.

We have a Scaley Breasted Lorikeet named Katut, she seems like she would have a lot to say and would have many opinions on everything. Katut is extremely fussy with food so I think she would tell us first exactly what she wants on the menu and then I feel like she would tell us to turn the heater on all the time, as Scaley Breasted Lorikeets are native to Queensland and she gets to live with us in Victoria. (She lives inside the house always). She would also tell us how she feels about us getting Chopper dog. I would like to think that she would have only positive feed back for us but I have a feeling that she would also have some grievances. They would probably be food related due to how fussy she is, I suppose she just knows what she likes and she doesn't want a bar of anything else.
Katut would be a lot of fun if she could talk to us though. I reckon she would be really funny even if she was telling us we're doing everything wrong by her standards and we would have long chats about her feelings. She would also have conversations with herself about us and probably loudly too. It would be really great though to know what she's thinking and what she wants. We can also sing together which would be so fun!

Now onto Chopper our Beautiful American Staffy Cross who would talk our ears off I reckon. The minute he realised we could understand him, I think he has a lot of feelings that he would like to talk to us about everything and we would validate his feelings. Examples of what Chopper would talk to us about would be; how he feels about cats (not a fan), possums, bugs, zoomies, us (so much love), grass, his favourite toys, walks and so much more. We would have so much to talk about and I'm sure it would all be talked about with a lot of enthusiasm because everything he does is done with heaps of energy.  I would really look forward to his thoughts on his steak night (he gets a steak cooked for him). I would love to see what Chopper and Katut have to say to each other. That would be a great conversation to see and be a part of.

I truly wish this would happen because it would be amazing.
Thank you for joining us for another wonderful blog.

Your friend,
Shan.

Let's go to the movies!

Who loves the movies? We certainly do today and we are movie directors, we are casting, we are writing, and we are shooting a movie that WE get to create.  Our bloggers are so creative and this weeks blog is no exception.  Enjoy!
Today we are movie directors for the day. My story is going to be about the untold story of Australian music from the 1960s to the early 1990s and the stars will be Michael Hutchence, John Farnham, Jon Stevens and Irwin Thomas aka Jack Jones.  It tells the story of how they got into the music industry and what inspired them to become Australian musicians, and what was the highlight of their shows over the years.  My movie explains their highs and lows and the outcome of such a rewarding job it is to be a musician in Australia.  My movie would also have Glen Wheatley in it talking through set up the Wheatley records, and  asking him what became your biggest highlight of setting up your own record company. My movie would be interview style and I would get the inside info of any fights or arguments with the musicians and highlights of being at the Aria Awards for recognising Australian music.  Keep on rocking, see you all next week.  Bye for now.Ash.

Today’s blog topic is if I was a director for the day, what movie would I be making.

If I was making a movie it would be about navy seals. The main plot of the movie is about a group of navy seals who are in a plane crash and land in an unknown location, they need to navigate their way back.
Some men will be trying to build a car, whilst others will focus on survival. The men are making shelters, hunting for food, and on the night they manage to kill a bear and that lasts them for a while. They manage to find different things to eat like apples,
grains, bananas, and blueberries.  The men are taking bits of the destroyed plane to make the car which is proving to be very
difficult.  Some parts of the plane are too burned down to recover. During this they also have to fight off terrorists, they attempt to blow up all their food sources, but they are no match for the navy seals and are ultimately defeated by them. The navy seals steal their cars and are able to find their way back to their base camp.

This is Nick signing off, see you next week!

You’re the director of your own movie.
What genre would it be, who is in it. Will you be in it?

Well, this seems like a topic to get the imagination going!
I feel like there are so many possibilities here, a two-hour documentary on the secret lives of snails or a horror animation where Pluto the planet is sick of being left out so it takes over the solar system and starts a gruesome crusade.

See what I mean about getting the imagination flowing?  It’s crazy!

So today I reckon we’ll go with the two-hour documentary on the secret lives of snails, but I want people to be interested and this means I need it to be funny as well as informative, so it will have a couple of people talking about the snails and keeping everyone on their toes. Like a David Attenborough type deal but funny (I love David Attenborough though). I’m thinking Snoop Dogg and Robert Irwin. We will just assume at this point that they work together well and there’s good chemistry there.

I’m not going to be in the movie; I will have enough to do directing it and I wouldn’t enjoy it as much if I was doing everything. I would have the time of my life on this movie though. I think snails are so awesome and adorable! There’s so much about them that’s interesting and like with humans there is more than meets the eye. Sitting and watching snails just be snails is one of my favourite past times I reckon they are fascinating.

I hope you enjoyed my blog, I think I SNAILED IT (my play on nailed it but with snail ha ha) have a wonderful day dear reader.

Your friend,

Shan.

I would pick the genre animation/fairytale because I love animated movies and fairytales. My movie is called “Two Kind Princesses.”

My main character is Princess Bella, who is 20 years old. She prefers to wear jumpers and trousers but likes dresses when it’s summer or for special occasions. Her favourite winter outfit is a Bluey jumper with navy trackpants, but when it’s hot or for special occasions, she wears a lilac dress with floral patterns.

She lives in a castle with her mum and dad and has a sister named Sofia, who is 18. Sofia enjoys girly clothes more than tracksuits, so she loves spring and summer because she can wear dresses and skirts. Even though their clothing choices are different, they respect each other’s opinions.

Princess Bella loves to collect stickers and colouring books, and she enjoys colouring in her spare time. She likes to use textas and colour pencils, and she listens to music while colouring because it helps her relax. Her favourite music genre is Disney. Once she finishes colouring, she loves to use stickers in her books.

Princess Sofia prefers diamond paintings, especially the big ones, because they keep her busy. Sometimes she colours with Bella, but diamond painting is her favourite.

No fairytale is complete without a villain! The villain in this movie is a witch named Mimi. Mimi likes to annoy the princesses—she ruins Sofia’s diamond painting by dropping all the dotz on the floor, making Sofia pick them up again. She also tears Bella’s stickers, which makes them both sad.

The princesses are assertive with Mimi and say, “Stop that! Please, how would you feel if someone was mean to you?” Mimi reflects and says, “Oh, I am sorry for being mean. I guess kindness is important instead of being mean!” The princesses forgive her, and she becomes their friend.

Mimi then invites the princesses to her cottage. They enjoy ice cream together—Mimi chooses neapolitan, Sofia chooses mint, and Bella chooses oreo. Afterward, they go outside for a walk on a sunny day and play with bubbles, just like I do every Monday at Umbrella Support.

This movie is suitable for all ages and is very light-hearted. It’s perfect to watch if you’re having a bad day.

What movie genre would you pick if you had to create your own movie?

Thank you for reading! Until next week, this is Jacinda signing off.

Quiet on set please! The movie I’m directing is a suspense horror about a couple Sarah and Duncan, who are fresh out of college and moving into a small town house to start a family as Sarah is pregnant.

The population in the town is one thousand people.
Sarah was a bit sceptical about the move but her boyfriend convinced her it’ll be okay,
They started to unpack the house to make it their home. Their dog Tucker wouldn’t leave Sarah’s side.
when it was time for dinner Duncan went to get pizza, and as he was driving he notices a grim looking light flickering.  He said to himself "that’s unusual" but shrugged it off. On his way home, the grim looking light was surrounded by people in black cloaks.
He got home, Tucker welcomed him home at the door.
Sarah was putting the plates on the bench for the pizza.
Duncan and Sarah are in the loungeroom eating their pizza while Tucker is in bed but growling, Duncan said, “Tucker what’s up”
Tucker got up and ran to the door and just stared at it.
Sarah and Duncan just shrugged it off because it was a new area and a new house, he might just be unsettled.
It was late and both of them went to bed.

The next morning Sarah woke up, hands-prints on her belly, like someone was hugging the belly all night long.  The door-bell rang, Tucker barked and ran up to the door, Duncan opened the door and Tucker ran off to hide, Duncan apologies to the person. The person introduced herself as Wilma, she was an elderly lady, with white thin hair.   She brought soup for the couple as a gift. Sarah popped around to see who it was, Wilma's eyes widened and looked straight to her belly, “oh my dear you’re expecting, how far long are you?”
Sarah replied “yes, I’m 7 months.”
Dusk falls and Sarah was in the nursery setting up the crib with Duncan, she had a feeling someone was watching her, she looked out the window, Wilma was just staring straight at Sarah with a big grin.
Duncan ran out to tell Wilma off, but she disappeared,  she was nowhere to be seen. But Sarah was certain Wilma was there.

The next day Sarah woke up with hand prints on her belly, again.
She was getting frightened about it, so she went to the police station and told them the events that were occurring. They asked what house were they living in and Sarah replied with “66 highland pl”
The policeman looked shocked and said “ I thought that house got demolished back in 200l?" Sarah asked “why what happened there, are my family and I going to have trouble?”
The policeman pulled up a seat for Sarah and started to tell her a story.
“Back in the1960s a lady named Wilma Anderson lived there, her husband was the mayor of the town, and she was pregnant but sadly lost the baby.  Her husband left her and she then had nobody.  Nobody came to visit her, some say she just rotted away in her house, where as others say the mayor moved her on to a different town”
Sarah was gobsmacked at what she was hearing.  She did more research and she found out that other people in the town who were pregnant would see Wilma.  They would all move away.
Sarah went home and told Duncan, what she discovered.
Duncan was furious that the real estate people didn’t tell them.
The next morning, Sarah felt pain in her belly, they rushed to the hospital as she was in fact in labour, but she said  “Im only 7 months and 2 weeks I can’t be”.
She was laid up in the hospital bed all connected to the machines. She was dozing in and out of sleep and it was raining outside. Sarah was tossing and turning, she turned to face the window and she saw Wilma at the side of the bed.  Sarah screamed and Duncan woke up in such a panic he fell off his chair. Sarah said “she’s here, what does she want from us?”
Duncan replied “Where I don’t see her, are you sure”
Duncan gave Sarah a hug to calm her down, and gave her a forehead kiss.
The time was 3.33am,  Sarah woke up in agony and pain, they rushed in the doctors and nurses and the machines were beeping, Duncan didn’t know what to do.

At 6.00am, Sarah delivered a baby girl, both were over the moon that nothing bad had happened.  Duncan went home to have a shower and get a few things for Sarah and Gabrielle, and to feed Tucker.

Sarah and Gabby were sleeping, a gusty breeze came brushing through the room, Gabby woke up and started to cry as Wilma appeared and took Gabby. Sarah suddenly woke up and realised her new born was missing. No one knew where she went.
The hospital staff didn’t know and said "Miss Sarah you weren’t here to give birth, but here for mental health concerns", Sarah was adamant that she just gave birth.
Duncan arrived back to see Sarah and said “what’s going on, why is my girlfriend saying she was pregnant?
Nurses said “we have no idea, I think she is becoming delusional and all of the stress has caused this."

A few weeks later Duncan, Sarah and Tucker were driving back to their hometown and as they were passing the sign saying "Thank you for visiting, Cherry Hills, come back soon”
Sarah saw Wilma, the white-haired old lady holding a baby, she screamed and told Duncan to stop.
They both got out of the car and again Duncan saw nothing.  Tucker barked.
Duncan calmed Sarah down and got her into the car and drove.

I love scary movies because this makes my nightmares in my dream come true.  I saw Five Nights at Freddys, really nice movie and they do dream about his little brother.  His little brother was missing, he was alone with his younger sister and all five or six kids got kidnapped by William the yellow rabbit.   The kid turned into a robot and now they were getting killed by people and almost killed Mike.  Actually, his sister drew something about the yellow rabbit they all saw and more pictures that she drew they kill the yellow rabbit but he said I will always come back. He was the one killer. His younger brother is now coming out in Five Nights at Freddys 2, in December.

I tell the actors we are making the movie "Don't Fall In” as I am the director.
I am making the sound from the clapper and voices for the actors and the sound is nice and perfect.
I was listening to the subscriptions and its cool, and better with the sound.
My work was setting up camera, lights and clapper to make the scenes.
It's the movie about the toilet which was stuck inside the world of the toilet.  That is funny and hilarious.
We finished off the scene and we are making the editing of the final scene.
This is going to be so funny and hilarious and people will love this on the big screen.
I cant wait to see my animations on the big screen, I hope people will like my animation.
This is Korey signing off.
And have a good fun day and enjoy my animation.

My movie is about lots of my friends. In my movie my friends are Alanna, Brie and Charlotte. Me and Alanna went shopping one day and organised a surprise party for Charlotte for her birthday and we had lots of fun. We had lemonade to drink and Fanta. Alanna made a chocolate smash cake filled with smarties, chocolate bits, caramel and ice cream. It was amazing.
It was a great party and
Charlotte said "Thank you it was the best party ever".

Dear readers, this week's topic is "we are the director of our very own movie".

Let me start by telling you about a movie I would direct, it would be rated MA15+ and a Christmas horror movie called ‘Xmas Gone Wrong’. The movie starts with a family and one of my support workers, Krystle who is the mum of my family and my friend TJ is the brother, and I am one of the sisters. One of my friends goes missing from our house on Christmas night into a very dark scary forest. Another friend also goes missing but we then find them dead and my family is the only ones to survive. There are a lot of jump scares in the middle of the movie and scary music. My family and I enjoyed Christmas all together in our Christmas wonderland country town movie.

Written and directed by Charlotte

Dear readers, how are you? Today's topic is if you were a director for a movie or a film what would it look like.  I have chosen to write about a karaoke competition.
It is about two young girls named Beth and Charlotte who have just entered a competition and have found out that they have won and in the movie we follow their time competing against the best karaoke singers in the world.
The setting is in a pub and they were wearing sparkly dresses and ballroom shoes. Their hair was tied back in a pony and had ribbons in, they had makeup on which was done neatly and clean. They both had their own mics which had diamonds they went and competed around the world at different competitions. The girls changed into different outfits and shoes after their performances and they have a break in between.  They are travelling on their own bus and they practise in their free time. They do different songs and learn and perform. For the last performance parents and support workers come and watch them.  At the end of the movie the girls perform in front of all of Australia.

Thank you for reading my blog, this is Beth signing off until next week

Today is choosing your own adventure so I’ll be blogging from home. On Monday afternoon. I was in the lounge room with my mum and my dad just talking and then I was walking and I slipped over. I heard a crack and I screamed. Mum and dad asked what happened and I said I think I’ve done something to my foot so my mum rang triple 0. I took my socks off. My ankle was so sore. It was my right ankle as well and I was laying on the floor in shock. My dog was looking after me. She was barking at all the other animals. I was told by my mum that I was going to wait for 3 and a 1/2 hours to 4 hours for an ambulance and I could not move could not sit up at 4 o’clock my two brothers and my dad had to get me off the floor. My older brother took me to the hospital in my car and drove me to the nearest hospital. I told them what happened not even five minutes being there. I was then taken to another room and they said who brought you here and I said my brother so my brother told him to come back and sit with me for a bit. I rang my mum to tell her what was going on and she said that’s not good and they did an x-ray. They couldn’t see anything broken.

They put a half cast on my leg and then they did another x-ray and yes it was broken. I rang my mum to tell her that I was ready to come home. I only had 3 1/2 hours sleep my mum only had one hour of sleep and at 7:55 on Tuesday morning I got a phone call from the orthopaedic people saying that I needed to come back.

Originally, they thought I needed surgery, but I didn’t. The orthopaedic surgeon fit me with a moon boot. Thank you for reading my blog and by the way I broken my fibula and my other side of my ankle so that’s why I mean so much pain thank you for reading my blog. Stay strong. Don’t do what I did. See you guys soon. Ash

Today we are choosing our own adventure blogs, sometimes choosing a ‘choose your own adventure’ blog comes at just the right time and other times it’s the bain of my existence. Thinking of a topic can be the hardest thing to do. Especially when it feels like you’ve been put on the spot, we do have the most supportive group to bounce ideas off, and that makes all the difference. I think coffee and snacks help too.
Lately I have been thinking about different topics that we can use for our blogs, because I want to be able to contribute to the group and be helpful to my blogging friends with their blogs. Doing a little solo brainstorm on topics for future blogs does help me with the writing process. Sometimes it’s also just to break up my day from other non-blogging activities on other days. There’s a lot that goes into our blog writing, but the topic is important and without it there would be no blogs I suppose. Which would be sad for you, our readers.
Don’t worry though we aren’t going anywhere and there will always be another topic for us to adventure into, it’s still exciting to write blogs for you all. While we may be doing the same thing our writings are always going to be different whether it’s a choose your own adventure or one of the topics we do together. Each of us are very talented and have our own minds.
To sum it all up writing is a kind of magic and gets us all thinking .
Love to all, your friend,
Shan

Last night, I caught up with an old neighbourhood friend, she works as a midwife, so she has a busy schedule, so it’s so special when we catch up. I think the last time we caught up was in February for Amy Shark,  and we went to a high tea in Olinda and saw an alpaca.
Anyways getting back to last night, she picked me up around 6.30 at night, we went to McDonald’s for tea then headed into the city. We talked and laughed about our childhood.  Our cats, pretty much anything, just reminiscing about our childhoods.
We got into the city, and parked the car, and walked to the Aquarium, yes that right, we went to the Aquarium after dark. It was so different as all of the lights were out.
We got to our seats, sat down and we were both mesmerised by the group of fish swimming in the tank, there was also a sting ray or a mantra ray, swordfish and a turtle.

The stage was placed in the middle of the room and battery operated candles, “safety first”. The performers came out dressed up for Halloween.  They introduced themselves then they started to play the music. The first tune they played was from Friday the 13th 1,2,3, followed by the Nightmare on Elm Street theme. Then The Conjuring, Final Destination, Pennywise,  The Lost Boys and a few more like The Shining and The Exorcist. It was just so perfectly creepy, just being candle lights it gave me goosebumps.

Before they started playing the instruments, people only saw the sting ray. Floating, but as soon as the music started, it swam side ways and you saw underneath and saw its smiling face and it was hilarious, like it wanted to scare us but instead it made most people laugh.

Then the third song in, a fish just stayed in the one spot until the very last song. Cheeky bugger, got a free show. It was my first time doing something like this but it was my friends third or fourth time going to a candle light performance.
I think I may take my mum and dad to a Christmas one, because I think they would love it.
They have heaps of different themes to go see, for example, Fleetwood Mac and punk music.

Thank you for taking your time to read my own “choose your own adventure blog”, and I hope I’ve given inspiration on going to a candle light show one time or something new. Haley

Dear readers , this week’s topic is a choose your own adventure.
Let me start by telling you about my new job, I work at an RSL. I work with all the chefs in the kitchen down at the RSL, I work every Monday for three hours. I love my job because I get to work with chefs. One day I hope to become a chef and own my own restaurant. Ever since I was little I always wanted to be a chef because I have a love and passion for food and I’m also really good at cooking different types of food (except steak). I cook dinner for my family most nights which I enjoy.

Today’s blog topic is choose your own adventure and I’m going to talk about my recent holiday

Last week I went on a Disney cruise for three nights and I loved it! I went with my mum, dad and cousins, I shared the room with my parents and I slept on the couch. The first day I did some dancing all night and had lots of fun, I had a yummy dinner and dessert. I loved when they did the fireworks at night time. Every night I went to the theatre to watch the show, I watched Frozen and two other shows, mum ate popcorn while she watched but I didn't. The second night was pirate night, which was so much fun, everyone dressed up as pirates and got into character. For breakfast we would go to the buffet which was so yummy, they had the best food on the cruise. I loved walking around the ship and meeting all the Disney characters, I met Cinderella, Belle, Rapunzel, Minnie and Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, daffy duck, Pluto, Elsa, Ariel, Merida, Moana and many more. I did some of the activities on the cruise like karaoke and trivia, it was fun to do with my family. I enjoyed going into the spa as it was nice and warm, the pool was too cold for me!
There was different themed restaurants I went to for dinner which was really cool, I enjoyed going to Tiana's place which is from the Princess and the Frog. I had the best holiday and can't wait to go on another cruise one day. This is Claire signing off.

This was my first time going to Bali. Our driver picked us up from the airport, and we stayed at Natura Resort in Ubud. When we got into our room, it was cool and cozy. Outside the room was a garden, so it was best not to leave the door open too long, or insects could come in.

On the first morning in Bali, we went to Ubud Palace. Mum and I had a spa at the resort, and while I was relaxing, I could hear someone playing Christmas carols outside. I felt proud of myself for trying new things, and I also got to chill in the pool on my last day in Ubud.
Next, we stayed at Ayodya Resort in Nusa Dua. It had a beautiful koi fish pond that made my heart warm, and colorful fish in an aquarium. The buffet breakfast was amazing—I ate more than usual and even had ice cream after finishing my meal.
I also visited Bali Zoo and Marine Park with my parents. I bought a turtle shirt for myself and another Bali souvenir t-shirt.
After Bali, we stayed at Fairfield Hotel in Surabaya for one night and had dinner with my brother, grandma, aunty, and some cousins.
The next day, we woke up early and went to Central Java. My aunt drove us to the train station, and when we arrived, our driver took us to Manohara Hotel in Jogja. I shared a room with my grandma and brother.
We visited different temples, like Borobudur and Prambanan, on separate days. I had been to these temples as a child, but this time I stayed with Dad and chilled instead of climbing.
We also went to Semarang and reunited with my grandpa's niece. I had a treat in the car—Chitato potato chips and Indomilk, which is like an Up & Go drink.
We spent a week in Central Java before heading back to Surabaya by train. While there, we celebrated my grandma's 80th birthday with lunch alongside her siblings. I sat at the same table with my cousins and my great aunty's son and his wife. The waiter surprised my grandma with a cake and birthday songs.
Although Surabaya didn’t have much sightseeing, I went to Malang with some cousins. We had lunch, dessert, and afternoon tea before heading back to Surabaya.
On our last day, my grandma had another birthday lunch. We used the VIP room, which had karaoke. There were both modern and oldies songs to choose from—what’s your favourite song to sing at karaoke?
It was a happy but tiring trip. I slept in once I got back to my own bed.
Thanks for reading! This is Jacinda signing off.

Dear readers, today’s topic is a choose your own adventure. I have chosen to write about my mum going on a cruise. Mum spent most of the days packing and didn't know what to pack because she has never been on one before so this is her first time. Once she was all packed she went to bed. She left home at 5:00am on Tuesday and then they got dressed and then headed to the airport. Once boarded the plane and then flew to Brisbane airport and then when they landed they drove or they got a cab to the Brisbane docks and then waited to board the cruise and didn't leave until three in the afternoon and then when it hit three in the afternoon they set sail. She went on the cruise with her partner and to be honest with you the first two days were so hard knowing that she is not going to be home. I found Tuesday morning very hard that I got very emotional and I tried to keep it together and not let it get to me. I was around very supportive people and support workers who helped me. Mum and her partner come home on Saturday and I am so excited to see them. I can't wait. She has been sending me photos and calling just checking on us.
Thank you for reading my blog. This is Princess Beth signing off until next week.
