Have you ever wished there were more hours in the day? Imagine if we never needed to sleep and could stay awake feeling refreshed all the time. What would you do with all those extra hours? Would you learn a new skill, travel the world, spend more time with family and friends, or simply enjoy your favourite hobbies? This week, we’re letting our imaginations run wild as we share what we’d do if sleep wasn’t necessary. If I didn't need to sleep any of the days, I would do this instead. I would do more in the house to help my mum and dad. I would do dishes in the sink, and dry them and put them away. I would watch movies on my phone and iPad in my room. I will do all my washing instead of leaving it for the weekend, and ironing too. If I had these extra eight hours a day I would spend so much more time with my Mum and Dad which I would love, and would love to make more coffee and cups of tea for them. I think I could go on more holidays, with mum and dad and my family, with my nieces and nephews too. I would definitely go to lots more stage shows. That’s it for me, Claire-Bear. If I don't need sleep, what would I do? Let me tell all of the readers that I am not someone who falls asleep easily once I lie in bed. I often toss and turn, but most of the time I sleep well and have interesting dreams. However, there are times when I have broken sleep. If I did not need to sleep, I would do some colouring in. I might play the Colour by Number app on my phone or tablet. Have you played that game before? They have lots of themes such as Disney, flowers, mandalas, special occasions, and many more. It is a very calming activity. I can also colour in my colouring books. I have plenty of them. At the moment, I am colouring in a summer themed colouring book, and it is very easy to colour. I also have lots of colour pencils. I have Faber Castell regular pencils, pastel pencils, Mont Marte pencils, and Officeworks pencils. I feel very lucky to have them. I can watch cartoons on YouTube too. It is great that cartoons are now available on demand because I do not need to worry about missing an episode. When I was little, TV shows and movies were only available on free to air channels, but now I can pause and watch cartoons whenever I want. I usually like watching old cartoons that used to be on ABC Kids. Some cartoons are available on YouTube, such as Timmy Time, Shaun the Sheep, Curious George, and The Mr Men Show. I like The Mr Men Show because the characters are colourful and they all have different personalities. I would watch The Mr Men Show on YouTube if I did not need to sleep. Sometimes, I would eat McDonald's as a midnight snack, but not all the time because McDonald's is not the healthiest food. I would order six nuggets, fries, and an Oreo McFlurry. Especially when the weather is hot, ice cream helps me cool down. I can also listen to music if I do not need to sleep. I might listen to the radio because they play music at midnight too. I have a mixed music taste because I enjoy many different types of music. I like old songs, current songs, and Disney music. It would be great if there was a Disney radio station. What type of music do you like? If I stayed in a hotel during a holiday and did not need to sleep, I could do lots of things. I could swim in the pool, especially if I was in Indonesia because it is very hot there. I could also have a massage, watch TV in my room, and eat yummy potato chips. That is what I would do if I did not need sleep, but in real life, everyone needs sleep. If we do not sleep, it can be difficult to concentrate on our usual activities, and we might not have enough energy to work or do things we enjoy. If I did not sleep at all, I would not have enough energy to do craft activities on Monday, work at Woolworths, or write long blogs. Thanks for reading! I hope you enjoyed my blog. This is strong-minded Jacinda signing off. I can't really sleep right now because my dog is barking and my dad is snoring in the house. I just get out the bed instead of sleeping on the couch and listen to the heavy metal music. I love working on my animation and reading my Stephen King book, Flight or Fright. But really I just like to sleep. So today’s blog is all about pretending. This is Korey signing off and have an awesome day. Dear readers, this week's topic is if I didn’t need sleep what would I do. Let me start by telling you if I didn’t sleep, what would I do If I didn't sleep I would always be tired and my body wouldn't function and my brain wouldn't be able to focus. If I was a vampire I think I would turn into a bat and fly around at night, and during the day I would suck on blood of all the bad people of the world. I would wear a daylight ring and then I would come back and go on my ivamp phone and scroll on Monsterbook which is the monster version of facebook and Nightmare which is the monster version of Instagram in my coffin. Now it's time as the sun rises I need to head to my bedroom and into my coffin for another super long sleep. Readers I have a question: What would you do if you couldn't sleep? Written by Charlotte. I would like to start this blog by saying that while I believe that sleep is very important for our minds and bodies, science and doctors would probably also agree with this. However I also believe that sleep can be a complete waste of time and effort. I spend so much time trying to get to sleep that it feels like a chore at this point. It would possibly bring me more joy to be doing something else at least until the novelty of it wears off. Not having to sleep would mean that I could spend more time working on my “to be read” list of books. This would mean that I could read more books and borrow or buy more books. Some may disagree and I respect that, but there is so much joy to be had reading a good book. Reading would take up quite a bit of time and would be a main activity that I would choose instead of sleeping. I asked Google how many books we roughly read in our lifetime and it would be roughly two thousand books. If I didn’t have to sleep then I could possibly double or triple this. Cleaning and tidying my room would also be something I would choose to do, I think it would be a great use of any spare time I had after my reading. Or possibly, better to do it before my reading time and the reading could be a reward for getting the cleaning done. I think not having to sleep would require a lot of planning to keep from getting bored. I would still go to bed though, the routine of having a shower, getting into pyjamas and getting into bed is an important routine to keep. I love my bed it’s warm and cosy. What would you do if you didn’t have to sleep? Maybe you could tell us in the comment section at the bottom of the last blog for this week. With love and kindness. Your friend, Shan. If I didn't need to sleep what would I do? If I didn't go to bed I would read books, play with toys, watch movies and I'd do more house work. I wipe down the bar stools after my mum, my sister and I eat. I'd play games on my iPad, and I'd rest at home. I’d go to Sydney, and see my cousins. We'd go shopping, and would go see more of our family. I'd listen to music, I'd listen to Barbie music, the Frozen music and the song Zoo from Zootopia. That’s my favourite! I'd have more time to watch more movies at the cinema with Alice and Sheridan and eat popcorn. We would have more time for cooking so we could cook things that may take a long time but then, we can eat it together. I'd do more colouring with my sister Kaitlyn that would make me happy. I would spend more time with my family. I could spend more time with my friends maybe Cindy would run a group during this time we used to sleep. What would we do in this group? Maybe play games? Watch movies? Make yummy snacks or come up with a secret mission! I wouldn't mind no sleep, but I like resting on the couch at home. Bye friends from Ronalda. If you didn't sleep, what would you do? That is our blog topic this week. I would text my friends and keep writing my book about disability to help people write and chat about anxiety. With all this extra time I would do art projects, and I would also go shopping and buy some chocolate. Ben2 Dear readers, how are you? Today’s topic is if I didn't have to sleep, what would I do instead? I have eight hours of free time, and with that time I plan to invite my friends to go out and have fun. Firstly we would go bowling and ask my support workers to join us. Then we would go shopping looking for outfits, jewelry, and beautiful new shoes. To do all of this I need new headbands to go with all my outfits. I forgot to mention this shopping centre is open 24 hours which gives us more time to enjoy our spending spree. We would go to La Porchetta for lunch and we would get lasagna with lots of cheese on top. Now I have three hours left of my eight hours and have decided to say goodbye to my friends and take my support workers to my hairdresser salon and treat them to a wash and condition and dry and get curls in our hair. Then we will go and do karaoke together. I have two hours left so we get our makeup done professionally and our nails done too. I have just one hour left of my eight hours now so we would go to the candy shop and buy lots of different lollies and cookies and take home to share with my family. Thank you for reading my blog. This is candy queen Beth signing off until our next adventures, bye for now until next time we speak.

Every one of us has someone we look up to, admire, or value. It might be a family member, a friend, a teacher, a celebrity, or someone who has inspired us through their actions. These special people can teach us important lessons, encourage us to be our best, and help shape who we are. This week, we’re sharing the people who have made a difference in our lives and why they mean so much to us.
The people I value the most, and who I respect most is my friend called Makayla. She is helping me with my fitness and going to the gym. I see her Fridays and she is amazing. She helps me to work hard in the gym with the exercise bike, arms machine and the rower. She loves Disney music too and we listen to it together. We also get to do fun things like bowling and have a great time. I have another support worker who takes me to dancing, and guess what, my dancing is back tonight! I love my dancing, I learn new moves that I can show to my friends and we also get to have dinner together afterwards. Sometimes I get help with my room but I can now do lots of things all by myself. I am very thankful to these people because they have helped me grow and learn. This is Claire signing off, for another week of blogging with my friends. I don't think I have just one special person or animal. I guess different stages or different lessons in life will change your special person. I had a special person since kindergarten until about I was twenty-three, but things change and she’s not very special to me anymore. But that’s okay. When I was twenty one, I met my friends Sabrina and Shane and since then they’ve both been my special people. I feel so different when I’m with them, kinda like I can take my trench coat off and be myself. Then Ned came and he also became a special person in my life, but he has moved to Queensland. We do still talk now and then. But most recently I have meet the most special person ever, all I wanted was to take my dad to a cafe, I say things happen for a reason. Since then whenever we spend time again, she brightens up my day, she’s the kindest soul and wouldn’t hurt anyone. We both have a lot in common and we both just annoyed one another, to the point where our bellies hurt, that a true meaning of a special person. Even when we are apart we send reels to one another. Then there’s the support workers who are special, even if they don’t know it they all bring joy to each one of us. Especially on our bad days. My cat banshee and Maggie are special to me too, both for different reasons, Banshee because he chooses me to be his human mum, he pulled me in his cage and he trapped and wouldn’t let me go. Then this sounds crazy but she’s like a sister to me, she finished off our family. Every night one of us bring her into the lounge room because it’s not the same without her. When she’s in a playful mood she’s hops so we chase her. Don’t limit yourself to just one special person. Have you ever had a moment where you have thought about what the different people in life mean or have meant to you? Not just in passing but really deeply thought about them and been grateful for whatever impact they have had on your life. It can bring on many different emotions or feelings to think about so it’s important to be kind to yourself and take a quiet moment to yourself alone if you need to. Sometimes one person may stand out in your mind, wether it’s a relative, friend, teacher or maybe it’s a celebrity that you met. It could be multiple people, it is possible for many people to leave a big impact on your life. It’s like leaving footprints in the snow but it’s on your heart instead. They’ll be there permanently and it will leave warm and fuzzy feelings inside. You're probably wondering who my person is, I’ve decided to keep my person close to my heart and it’s funny because most people are aware of who my person is. It just feels important today to keep her close to my heart. I would say that she is extremely important to me and has impacted many lives and not just mine. I love her endlessly and her impacts to my life have been many. She is one of my favourite people and some days when I think about her I do get emotional. I am endlessly grateful for her. I hope that you take a moment to think about the people in your life. Your friend always, Shan. A special person to me is my mum. We went to the concert with my mum and it was good fun for me. I just really enjoyed myself and I have so many more concerts in September. I'm looking forward to seeing Ice Nine Kills concert with a terrible support band called Electric Callboy, but we can we just leave the concert. I get to see horror movies with my mum which I am thankful to her for, we love horror movie together. We went to the escape room for my 18th birthday with my mum it was good fun and I'm was really good at doing puzzles. We watch my animation from Villager News it was really funny and hilarious I'm just really good for my 3D animation, I'm looking forward to see the Horror movies from my other program with my mum. I am sure she will love it at the end of the year. I am very thankful to my mum. This is Korey signing off for another week and have an awesome day! The blog topic is about a person that we appreciate. I am going to write about several people who are special to me. First, I would like to write about my teacher's aide. She helped me during high school and was also an emotional support for me. If I was not feeling okay, I could talk to her, and she always reminded me that it is okay to cry. My teacher's aide was also very thoughtful. Before I went to Indonesia for a holiday during high school, she gave me a present. Inside the gift were an activity magazine, a teen poster magazine, and some lollipops. I also appreciate my support worker. She has helped me understand social situations because I sometimes misunderstand what people mean. For example, when someone says, "You should write this," I sometimes think they are telling me what to do. My support worker explained that people are usually just sharing their ideas and opinions. She also picked me up for Umbrella Support and drove me home for four years. In the beginning, I had a different driver who took me to the Handmade group. My parents are also very special to me. I enjoy spending time with them. Sometimes they correct me when I make a mistake. One time, my dad gently told me not to message people too early in the morning. He was not angry. He spoke in a calm voice. My dad is a great cook, and my mum is a great cook too. My friend from high school is also very special to me. We caught up last year in April. We have not spoken much lately, but we are still friends. She respects my boundaries, and that makes me happy, even if she has different opinions from me. I have known her since year seven, and we always ate recess and lunch together. During senior school, we did not spend as much time together because we were both busy. She was studying for her VCE subjects, so I often enjoyed some quiet time during recess and lunch instead of socialising. After high school, we exchanged phone numbers so we could keep in touch. At first, we chatted on WhatsApp, and now we also chat on Instagram because she has an account there too. My friend asks normal adult questions, such as whether I plan to drive a car or get married. I do not get offended. I simply answer, "No, I am not planning to do that," and she replies, "That's fair." She does not only ask fun questions. She also asks everyday adult questions. Do you have a special friend in your life? I also appreciate my cousin. I have many cousins on my mum's side, but she is the one who reaches out to me the most. She has a busy life, but on special occasions she always takes a moment to send me a message. Even though she does not celebrate Easter or Christmas, she still wishes me well. She also gave me a Donald bag charm, and I attached it to my Mario backpack. When she was little, she was very quiet and kept to herself. She enjoyed watching Disney Junior and playing on her DSI and iPad. When I saw her again last year, she had changed so much. On the first night we met, she gave me a big bear hug. I almost cried happy tears because I was so touched. Thanks for reading. This is strong-minded Jacinda signing off. The people I value the most and who I respect the most is my sister Kaitlyn and my mum. Because they help me. They give me dinner, they make my lunch, my mum makes my breakfast, my mum helps me with my clothes, my mum and my sister do my hair, my mum plaits my hair, Kaitlyn always brushes my hair makes my hair pretty. Kaitlyn puts me to bed, tucks me in, cuddles me and says good night and kisses me goodnight. Kaitlyn watches movies with me. Kaitlyn paints my nails for me. My sister makes me feel so happy and loved. Someone else I value and has helped me a lot is Martina. She takes me to dinner with friends every month. Picks me up and takes me home. I like talking to Martina. She makes me feel happy. She used to take me to bowling that was so fun. Martina is always looking out for me. I love Martina. Thank you for everything you do Martina. Good bye form Ronalda Hi readers, how are you? Today's topic is who do you look up to and what do they do? I have chosen to talk about Martina she is amazing at what she does. She is my support coordinator she answers any questions I have and she comes to dinner with friends. She comes to the cafe that we run called Reach Employment. She arranges my appointments and she helps me make important calls. She used to do bowling with me and my friends and other support workers. We see her at dinner with friends once a month and sometimes morning melodies. She arranges for me to use a laptop every week and supports me. She sometimes hangs out at the shops and we go out to different places and sometimes to the movies. She makes me laugh and gives the best hugs. I am so grateful for her in my life she is full of happiness always smiling friendly and bubbly. Martina is the best and I wouldn't choose anyone better than her. I have known her for five years and hopefully lots more. Let us know who you look up to and what they do in the comments below. We love to hear from you! Thank you for reading my blog this is blogging queen Beth signing off until our next blogging adventures. Dear readers, this week's topic is someone who we value the most and respect. Let me start by telling you about who are the people I will always respect, they are my family like my parents and my sister and Martina my support worker. I love my family the most and will I always put my family first because I was raise to be respectful and to put everyone first. My family do a lot for me like encourage me when something positive happens and they are so loving and supportive when I achieve something, such as when I got a new job or when I graduated from high school. I love spending time with my family and going on holidays. I love when we go glamping and I love always cooking for them and I can say that's one of the skills that I'm very thankful for, and all the skills they have given me. Readers I had writer's block when I started writing my blog, but you would never know it. Readers, I have a question: who's someone you respect or value the most? Written by Charlotte. Today we are writing about the people we look up to. I look up to my mum. My mum is funny, kind and happy. We like to watch movies together. Thank you for reading my blog written by Dayna The people I look up to. I look up to my friend Rochelle. I like my mum when she gave me an iPad. I like my support worker because she takes me out. Ben 2 We all have those apps we open without even thinking, whether they’re there to keep us organised, help us relax, make us laugh, or simply pass the time. From games and social media to fitness, shopping, music, or productivity, there’s an app for just about everything these days.
This week’s blog topic is: What’s your favourite app and why? Is there an app you use every day? Has one made your life easier, taught you something new, or become your go to for entertainment? We’d love to hear which app tops your list and what makes it so special to you. Your favourite might even inspire someone else to discover a new app they’ll love! I have a lot of different apps on my phone and there are so many that I love. The first one that comes to mind is Disney plus, because I love Disney movies and I can watch any one I want on my iPad. I like to use my camera app to take lots of photos. I like photos of Disney castles when I go on holidays and photos with my friends. I often watch YouTube in my spare time, I like to watch k-pop demon hunters and other animations. I love tracking my steps on my phone because I'm a smart woman. I also love the Disney Stitch game and sometimes like to use the colouring app. I have lots of different cruise apps on my phone because I go on many cruises. Cruises are so much fun, I love all the food, the shows and all the fun I have with my family. I like calling and texting my friends and seeing what they are up to, I like to call them at 4pm and 7pm. I like the live 360 app because I can see where my mum and dad are and it shows me on the map. This is princess Claire signing off, I will see you next week. I have Instagram and I like using FaceTime. I use the Notes app a lot because I love writing things. Like today, my blog. I like the photo app and I use the Spotify app for music and podcasts. I use the Calendar app and the Voice note app. I like going on the Internet app and I like going on messages and text messages, as it helps to keep me connected. Ben 2 I’m sure that everyone here has a favourite app or an app that is used the most. Today in our blogs we are talking about our favourite apps or our most used apps. Do we all know what an app is though? I’ll tell you anyway. An app is short for application. We all have used an app at some point even if you don’t used technology a lot. In my own words I would explain an app as those little squares or icons that we tap or click on to play games, message others or just make life easier. You find them on your smartphone, tablet or iPad. I also asked Google just for fun (also an app) and it said an app is a software program designed to perform a specific task or provide a service. I think my favourite app is Google. Actually I know my favourite app is Google. If you weren’t already aware I am a super curious person with an endless thirst for information. If I don’t know something I like to find the answer so that I can learn. It’s important to me that If I don’t know something I can find answers almost immediately. Google can be a life saver if I need to go somewhere and am not sure of the address, I like to be able to know where I’m going and be confident that it’s the correct place. I can even use Google to find books which is both fabulous and dangerous. I probably don’t need anymore books and I will have no room for more books eventually. Google helps me with so much and I never have to be left wondering or confused. My Google app just brings me joy! What is your favourite app or apps? Let us now in the comments if you would like to. Your friend, Shan. What is my favourite apps on my phone or iPad? My favourite app on my phone is Messenger kids and Spotify. I like to message my sister Kaitlyn and my brother Jayden. It makes me happy to message them. I like to play music on my phone. I like to sing and dance to the songs. I like to take photos on my phone and look at them. My favourite app on my iPad is Netflix. I like to watch movies and TV shows. My favourite TV show is Secret's of summer. That's what I'm watching right now! Goodbye from Ronalda. P.S My blog may look a little smaller this week, but that’s because I typed it all out by myself instead of Sheridan typing it for me. This is awesome for me!!! Everyone has Apps on their phones or iPad, but what are the favourite apps people use? I’m a sucker for doom scrolling so, I love Apps like TikTok, Pinterest, and Instagram. I love saving reels and sending reels for later. I’ve got a few different saved collections for different things, for example, art I would like to do, Things to do, documentaries and topics that I would like to research on. Instagram is great for sending funny or interesting reels to my friends that I think they would like. I also love Spotify which is a music, podcasting and audiobooks app. I'm not a big fan of listening to people talk but the music side is great. You can create your own playlist with your own music, sometimes I think my playlist is a bit bi polar, but I’m all for it. The streaming apps I love on the iPad because I can have it close to me so I can hear it and see it. But YouTube is a iPad and phone app. Games apps, funny situation, I download apps but I get bored of them quick so I delete them, then download others, kind of like a cycle. At the moment I’m playing pocket sort and colour block run. Those are all of my favourite apps. Haley. Dear readers, today's topic is what's your favourite app on your phone. I have many apps on my phone and my favourite ones are Temu, Shein, Facebook and Instagram. I also play games called Makeup Stylist games, Duolingo games and Happy Colour games. Let me tell you about Temu, this is such a good app where I can buy almost anything on it ranging from gorgeous outfits to stunning jewellery to go with my outfits. Now let's talk about SHEIN. I find that SHEIN has better quality clothing and a much larger range in jewellery compared to Temu. My poor bank account is working overtime with all the orders. Once every now and then I get onto my game app, which takes me away from spending money, which makes mum happy. Has this happened to you readers? Let us know in the comments below we would love to hear from you. This is the money queen Beth signing off until the next adventures. Dear readers this weeks 's topic is what are your favourite apps and why. Let me start telling you about what are my favourite apps. I have a long list of apps that are my favourite and that I use is Pinterest, Snapchat, Instagram, Venue which is a game, Monopoly go, Spotify, Netflix, Stan, Disney plus and Youtube music. Pinterest is good when I need inspiration for hair, nails, outfits and tattoos and I use it every day. Spotify and YouTube music I use to listen to music like pop songs, Eminem and calming and relaxing music. I use Netflix, Stan and Disney plus to watch my movies. I use Instagram and Snapchat to take photos, to watch videos and message my best friend Dayna. I also play two games called Venue where you get to design different venues and me and Dayna like to play Monopoly together. Readers, I have a question. What are your favourite apps and why? Written by Charlotte My favourite app is Instagram it is my favourite app to make and keep my eye on my favourite bands and new songs from Ice Nine Kills. Also, I love Collingwood and Melbourne Storm. I met Jamie Elliot. I follow Anthem Entertainment and I follow Destroy all Lives to make sure I get to see all my favourite heavy metal bands like I prevail and Lorna shore. I follow lots of followers and am following lots of people too like Ice Nine Kills, Umbrella Support, Melbourne Storm, Collingwood, Anthem Entertainment, Destroy all Lives, Horror news, Slaughter to prevail, the walking dead, Metallica, call of duty, Comic con, Knotfest Australia, marvel, IT welcome to derry, Slipknot and my other programs. I am following lots of actors, my favourite is Bill Skarsgård, Jensen Ackles, Gustaf Skarsgård, Alexander Skarsgård and James Marsters. Also these guys love the same heavy metal bands as me. I got the YouTube app to uploading videos from my animation to make sure everyone can see my animations. Also I watch my animations, they are so funny. I have the Spotify app and I listen to the heavy music with my mum and we listen in the car. I just love Ice nine kills, Slipknot, Metallica, Slaughter to prevail, Vended, Lorna shore, I prevail, Shadow of intent and Whitechapel they all are the greatest bands. I have the Collingwood app to make sure to keep the on eye on them to see the round and the byes, which mean a weak off. I have the AFL app to make sure to keep an eye on the ladder we are 9th on the ladder which is not too bad. I got the Melbourne storm app to make sure to keep the on eye on them and to see the round and the weak off. I have the NRL app to make sure to keep my eye on the ladder. We are 11th on the ladder which sucks. I use to played The Simpsons Tapped Out but it has been shut down which also sucks. I played the Walking Dead survivors game it was good fun to play and I got lots of building and kill off the zombies. I got the Ice Nine Kills app to look at their quiz and the music videos. Lastly I got the PlayStation app to looking at my trophies and to get the platform. I means to get the all the trophies my brother helped me to get the trophies and we got the platform too. My favourite app is Instagram. Sometimes I like to post on my Instagram account. I enjoy posting quotes, childhood cartoons, Disney, Snoopy, food that I like, and holiday photos. On Instagram, I also like looking at people’s collection of photos and videos. There are lots of adults who still enjoy collecting cute things like stickers, colouring books, and soft toys. Sometimes I feel envious when I see people on Instagram. I see some people taking their children to Disneyland, even when their children are only three or four years old. I did not go overseas when I was that age. I also see children receiving gifts on their birthdays or Christmas and eating at McDonald’s. However, my dad reminded me that people on social media usually share the good moments. We do not always see the difficult parts of their lives. I also have Facebook. It was very popular when I was at school. I still check Facebook sometimes, and I sometimes post things on the Umbrella Support group page. These days, many Indonesian content creators and celebrities use Instagram more often. Another app I like is WhatsApp. Sometimes I chat with my grandma, and sometimes she sends me cute good morning pictures. They always make me happy. I also have my aunt, uncle, and cousin on WhatsApp, but I do not chat with them often because they are busy with their own lives. I usually message them on special occasions. I enjoy sending my family cute stickers on WhatsApp. You can even create your own stickers using photos saved in your gallery. I also love using ChatGPT. It is a smart app that helps me understand things. I ask about words I do not know or ask what people mean when they say certain things. For example, when someone suggests, “You should try this cafe,” I sometimes misunderstand and think they are forcing me. ChatGPT explained that people are usually just giving suggestions. ChatGPT also helps me polish my blogs. I also like the Happy Colour by Number app. You can play it anywhere. For example, if you are sitting at a cafe and feel bored, you can play the game to keep yourself entertained. However, there are some negative things about the app. It has advertisements, and some colouring pages can be tricky. Sometimes I cannot find where a certain number is, so I use the clue. Before the clue appears, I have to watch an advertisement first. The Happy Colour app also has Disney colouring pages. I love Disney, but I think it would be great if they added Sanrio, Snoopy, and more cartoon characters. They also have special occasion colouring pages for events like Easter, Christmas, and birthdays. There are postcards in the colouring app too. Once you finish colouring, you can write a message and send it to someone you choose. There is also a game app that I used to enjoy during my teenage years called “Sally Salon.” I loved that game because you could give customers haircuts and wash their hair. Once the customers were finished, they paid and said thank you. Unfortunately, the game is no longer available, but I used to play it on my iPod touch. Thanks for reading my blog. I always have fun expressing myself through blogging. This is your happy friend, Jacinda. Can you believe we’re already halfway through 2026? It feels like the year has flown by! The halfway point is the perfect time to pause and reflect on everything that’s happened so far, the memorable moments, the challenges we’ve overcome, the things we’ve learned, and the goals we’re still working towards. Whether 2026 has been full of exciting adventures, unexpected changes, personal achievements, or simple everyday joys, everyone has a story to tell. In this blog we’re looking back on the first six months of the year and sharing what 2026 has meant to us so far.
I have had a great last six months with my family and friends. I joined Umbrella this year, that's made me feel happy and makes me smile every day. l've learnt lots of new cooking skills and I've also learnt how to make coffees. I really enjoy this. I've been working so hard with Sheridan on being brave enough to go on the escalators by myself. Six months ago l used to hold her hand or be too afraid to go down, now I can go without her! I went to Sydney with my family to visit my Aunty and Uncle. We had a great time with them. We often catch up with my relatives and sometimes go to a restaurant to enjoy the good times and make memories. I love it when we go bowling and if I'm lucky, I'll get a strike which makes everyone happy. My sister Kaitlyn and I would find time to go to the movies together. I went with Umbrella to see The Devil wears Prada and loved it. On every second Tuesday of the month, we do dinner with friends where we have dinner and dancing with all my beautiful friends and the support workers. I love going because you get to wear something special. When summer came around we would go to the beach and have a swim and splash each other. It is now winter and we love having warm meals and warm clothes. Good bye from Ronalda. This year has been great and I've had lots of fun. The only down side of this year is that I haven't gone on a holiday yet, but hopefully soon. I would like to go to China and visit the two Disneylands there. This year I've kept myself busy with all my activities. I do crafts on Mondays and Tuesday's, on Wednesday's I make coffee and learn work skills, on Thursday's I do blogging and media and then also dancing at night. On Friday's I enjoy social activities with my group. I also go to the gym on Tuesday's, Wednesday's and Friday's. I have so much fun during the week with my friends and I keep myself busy. I've been to lots of movies this year with Krystle and Steph. My favourite movies I've watched are the Sheep Detective, Toy Story 5, Minions, Michael, Zootopia 2 and Hoppers. I'm looking forward to Moana the live action version coming out soon! I watched Anastasia the musical and Juliet and it was amazing! I love them both so much. This year has been amazing, can't wait for the second half. This is Claire signing off, see you next week. We are 6 months into 2026. In January I actually can’t remember too much of it, but in February I went to Cairns with my best friend Sabrina and her Aunty. That was an adventure in itself, Sabrina lost her boarding pass, also on the way home, and because of the Timezone differences we almost missed our flights home. Funny now but it wasn’t funny then but now it is. Also when we got to the airport to her car, her poor car battery had died, we waited almost two hours for a car company, that was fun, not! March, April and May were just staying home and did some local road trips. We went to Cape Shank, also known as Pines picnic area, where we usually go each year for my Nanna’s birthday. I went to the movies a few times the first movie was Avatar, then Wicked 2, the latest was Toy Story 5 and Obsession. I have recently been to a place near Bright with no internet or phone reception at all. I went with my friends Sabrina and Shane, it was a great holiday. We met up with Shane’s friend Tony. What is upcoming for the rest of 2026 is still unknown but I’m excited for what may happen. My mum and dad are going away soon, so I’ll be able to house sit and in October I’m looking after Diego the devil cat for five days. I hope everyone had a great first half of 2026 and looking forward to the next half. Haley. Every weekend I got out with my friends and have fun, I can’t wait for my friends are having a baby. We will need to wait and see later this year, but there will be five kids, and I will be an Uncle for them all, oh lord, too much for me. TJ. This year I have been making my 3D animation from my other program. I am so clever and I post it on YouTube to make sure everyone can see my animation. They are funny and hilarious. I am making the new episode from the Villager show. The episode is called Anger Management and it is going to be funny. We watched the Collingwood game for every week, we just watched Collingwood against Richmond and we won the game, GO PIES. We watched Melbourne Storm against Sea Eagles but we lost the game, and it sucks. I have been to so many concerts from my favourite heavy metal bands and Knotfest, my favourite band in concert is Ice Nine Kills, Slaughter to Iprevail, Slipknot, Vended, Lorna Shore, I prevail, Metallica and next week we have Gaerea. I’m looking forward to wait to see it. I looking to see the Evil Dead Burn movie, it is supposed to be good. I looking forward to seeing the horror movie from my other program too. I am working on this. This is Korey signing off and wish you a good day. I would like to invite you, our loyal readers and biggest supporters to join us in a reflection of the events of the last six months of 2026. Honestly it has either gone far too quick or I missed a few months. It would be just like me to take a nap and sleep through half the year. All jokes aside I think there have been a few memorable moments that have brought joy. Let’s get to it my friends. Just a quick note I do talk about my friends children in this blog however I haven’t used their names as I wasn’t able to get permission from their parents in time. So I have referred to them as my unofficial niece and nephew. My unofficial niece (best friends daughter) turned one and I couldn’t believe that she has turned one so quickly. Her birthday party was the absolute cutest and I think that she had the best time living her absolute best life. My unofficial nephew, (different best friends child) also turned one and he also turned one far too quickly. He had a very big party with lots of love and celebration also. Kids grow up so fast and I’m so grateful to be a part of their lives. Even more grateful to share in those important milestones of life. I had many adventures over this time but the most anticipated was my adventure to Sydney to see the Lion King Musical! It was absolutely amazing and I had the best time of my life. I don’t think people understand how much seeing the Lion King Musical meant to me. I honestly didn’t expect to feel as many feelings as I did about it. Go see the Lion King Musical if you can, it is absolutely the best and the most beautiful experience I have ever had. With a few exceptions. I think it’s probably best I end this blog here or I’ll need a publisher. Thank you so much for reading our blogs and being such wonderful supports of our literary talents. Your friend, Shan. Today we are blogging about looking back at what happened in 2026. I have done a variety of things this year. I have been a busy bee with handmade groups, working at Woolworths, blogging, shopping with my parents, watching cartoons, colouring, and much more. In January, my grandma from Indonesia came to Australia for a holiday. I remember we went to Pancake Parlour on New Year's Day. We were supposed to go to Bingsoo, but it was closed for New Year, so we rescheduled it for another day. In February, my family and I celebrated Lunar New Year. We stayed at home, ate noodles and fish, and drank soft drinks. Mum and I also went to a Lunar New Year celebration at my church, although it was held in a hall. There was a lot of noise because many people attended. We did not stay for very long. We watched the performances, had something to eat, and then went home. Even though it was noisy, I still had a good time because a lady from our church encouraged us to come. In March, I saw lots of videos and photos of my uncle and his family travelling in Japan, where they met my brother. I also started coming to Bridgewater to do blogging with my friends. Last year I always blogged at home, but now I alternate between blogging at home one week and onsite the next week. It can be noisy when I blog onsite, but I keep writing and stay focused. In April, one of Dad's friends from Jakarta visited Australia. Dad had dinner with him in the city. He has known my family for a long time. We had pizza for dinner at home, and my favourite flavour was Aussie. I also had a lovely Easter. Dad did not cook anything special because there were only three of us at home, but I received some lovely digital cards. My aunt sent me a Winnie the Pooh Happy Easter card, and my friend sent me a cute bunny juggling Easter eggs. At the end of April, I went on a short getaway to the city. I enjoyed lots of delicious food. I ate rice and crispy pork at Roast Garden Restaurant, had ice cream from Godiva, enjoyed Indonesian food, and treated myself to a Kogepan mug, which is a cute bread character from Japan, as well as some stickers. At the beginning of May, Dad had some time off work and cooked at home. I especially enjoyed his macaroni and fries because they were very yummy. After Mother's Day, we had KFC for dinner. I love the Wicked Wings and chips. I usually eat KFC with rice because that is very common in Indonesia. In June, I continued with my regular activities. Mum and I watched Toy Story 5, and I really enjoyed it because I love children's movies. I also went out for lunch with my parents at Rosebud. We ate Vietnamese food, and I ordered a rice dish because I usually have a favourite meal that I like to order at Asian restaurants. I have not had any big holidays this year. We have mostly enjoyed local trips instead. Dad usually plans our holidays. It would be wonderful to travel overseas every year, but that depends on our family budget and plans. How has your 2026 been so far? Thanks for reading. This is Princess Jacinda signing off. Hi friends, how are you? Today's topic is the year I had in 2026 and I have chosen to write about my mum's engagement and if they will have a wedding my mum got engaged to her partner Brendon on mothers day I got to help him choose the ring without my mum and siblings and nan and grandad knowing he got down on one knee and proposed to my mum. we had to wait so long because it was too big so the ring kept going back and forth so many times! This year I got my braces on. I have changed the colour twice on my braces. The first colour was purple, the second colour was purple and pink and now I have purple and teal. I have gotten my hair cut at the hairdressers and hair coloured blonde, caramel and purple and I have had it curled as well. I always feel happy once it's done. This year once a month on every second Tuesdays I go to dinner with friends in the evening and in the morning of that day I go to Balla Balla community centre and make scones for the morning tea. We have a band come and play and sing and we dance to the music it's the best time ever, it is called morning melodies. The last six months have been filled with so much love and happiness, I hope the next six months will be just as good. Thank you for reading my blog let us know what you think and if you have any blogging topics let us know in the comments below, we would love to hear from you readers. This is blogging princess Beth signing off until next blogging adventures. What I did this year in 2026 is I did my presentation for Down Syndrome Australia. On Thursdays I like doing long blogs at Umbrella Support. This year I've started talking to someone from Western Australia. I am also bringing out unicorn merchandise this year and also doing some interviews with Umbrella Support for my podcast. Ben2 Today's blog is a choose your own adventure!
Today I'm going to blog about dancing! I love dancing, I do dance classes Thursday nights with my friends. At dance class we learn lots of moves to different songs. At the moment I'm learning a dance to High School Musical. I've learnt some dance moves so far and I'll learn more tonight! I like learning new moves because I'm very good at remembering them, I like to show my friends at Umbrella. I have lots of fun dancing. I like dancing to music by ABBA and all the Disney music. My favourite Disney music to dance to is from Tangled and Encanto. After dancing I go out for dinner, I like going to different places for dinner such as Hungry Jacks. I have done dancing my whole life and I make sure I can dance on all the cruises I go on too. I really hope I can go to Shanghai Disney soon, I keep thinking about it and hope to really soon. They have different characters, different rides and different dance moves in the shows. I can't wait one day to go. I love coming to blogging on Thursday's. It is fun and I get to see all my Umbrella friends. I get to write with help and tell the readers all about me and what I love to do. This week, my dancing. Thank you, Claire. I have discovered that with the weather we are having it is the perfect climate for wild mushrooms and fungus to grow. When I first found clusters of white mushrooms, I thought it would only be those and then that would be it for a while. This was not at all the case. I have seen many different varieties of wild mushrooms and they are super interesting, weird and wonderful. I like to observe things in my garden, especially the things that were uninvited and I never thought would become part of our garden. I don’t touch wild mushrooms because that would be an unwise and unsafe choice. I’m always happy to just observe and admire from a distance. I have the same rule for other plants and creatures also. Unless I know for sure that they are safe, it’s very important to know what you are picking up or touching and staying safe. Plus not all creatures want to be touched which is understandable and I’m happy to respect that. Respect isn’t just for humans, everyone and everything deserves to be respected. I don’t know the names of all the mushrooms and fungi except for magic mushrooms. There are some mushrooms found in parks rather than our garden and I think it is very important that they be left alone. They can be of the red and white variety which were best to be left alone. To find out more about why that is I suggest you ask Google and maybe put your thoughts about mushrooms in the comments. Others I have seen and come across are brown mushrooms, orange fungus, brown fungus, upside down looking mushrooms, pink and white mushrooms and many hard to describe mushrooms. Have a look in your garden and see what you find! Thank you for reading my brain dump on mushrooms and fungus, it’s not a topic I’m super knowledgeable about but I’m excited to see them in the garden and parks. Your friend, Shan. Last week we went to see the band I Prevail with the support bands Imminence and Invent Animate it was awesome and I was so knackered and my favourite song for I prevail is Violent Nature. I just yell out to my favourite song and it was so great. They also did a cover song of Metallica, Sad But True and this is so good. On the weekend I almost finished my animation and on Monday I finally finished off my animation the episode called The Divorce and this is going to be hilarious. I just uploaded the video on YouTube. On the weekend we watched the Collingwood game against Port Adelaide and we won the game, Jordan de Goey got three goals because he is the good Collingwood player and I love him, Nick Daicos got the first goal and I heard about the new Collingwood player, he's name is Sam and he got the first goal of his first game, but he is the Collingwood player and Scott Pendlebury he's not playing at the moment. He is injured and a great player. I watched Melbourne Storm against Raiders and we won the game, Cameron Munster has played 250 games for Melbourne Storm, he's so strong and he's the greatest Melbourne Storm player and I love him too. Korey. Dear readers, this week's topic is a choose your own adventure. Let me start by telling you about my holiday which I'm so excited about because I'll get to spend time with my parents which will be good. My parents are always working very hard and come home from work late. What are some things that I’m looking forward to? I’m looking forward to snorkelling, swimming in the pool, going to a family friends’ wedding and whatever other activities my mum has organised and we hopefully will get to do horse riding. When am I leaving? I'm leaving soon but I'm feeling so anxious and stressed out because we haven't packed yet. However, my nails and hair are done for the wedding and I look so pretty. Readers I have a question: Do you have any holidays planned or any weddings planned for this year or the future? Written by Charlotte. I like to make stories up about things. I’ve got rainbow lorikeets in my front yard, I’ve named three of them, the leader Pablo, the silly one is called Lee-Roy and the third one is called Basil. We have a bird bath and a tray hanging from the tree. They have been in the tree for a while now. I took a photo of them all on the bird bath yesterday, and it looked like they were in a bird meeting, so I made up a little story about it. So Pablo, started the meeting with a question “Where are we at with the mission of pooping on the neighbours car?” Basil replied “The plan is half done, if we didn’t have Lee Roy, the mission would’ve been completed, but he keeps missing the car.” Pablo yells, “LeeRoy, what is this about, why can’t you do one simple task?” LeeRoy climbs down from the tree but misjudged how close he was to the ground, he slid down so fast he fell off the tree and hit his head on the ground and saw stars. Then he replied “I’m sorry boss, I get nervous and I start pooping before I reach the car” Pablo walks up to LeeRoy, smacks LeeRoy over the head, and again LeeRoy saw stars around his head. The meeting ended and Basil and LeeRoy flew away and Pablo just sat on the bird bath, with another new bird (not sure of her name yet) they had a bit of a peck on the beak and Pablo flew away. Another two birds of a different kind flew down, took the female bird hostage and flew away with her. The next day I’m guessing Pablo held a meeting again with Basil and LeeRoy to help get his girlfriend back. Stay tuned for the next chapter. Haley. Dear readers, how are you? Today’s topic is a choose your own adventure. I have chosen to write a story called The Secret in the Royal Castle. Chapter One. Once upon a time, in a bright kingdom wrapped in golden light, there stood a great royal castle where King Leo and Queen Cleo ruled kindly over their family. Inside the castle lived the Prince, the Princess and the youngest little one who was full of energy and questions. The castle was usually loud in the happiest way, footsteps echoing through hallways, laughter bouncing off stone walls and doors always opening and closing like the castle itself was breathing. But then something started to feel different. Queen Cleo wasn't quite the same. She smiled more softly, she rested more often and sometimes she would pause in the middle of a sentence like she was listening to something no one else could hear. Princess Lulu noticed first. One afternoon, walking through the castle gardens, she asked Queen Cleo why do you keep holding your hands like that? Queen Cleo smiled gently and looked away for a moment, "just thinking" she said, but the Princess felt it wasn't just thinking. Something was coming… Stay tuned for the next exciting chapters. Let us know what you are thinking in the comments below and would you like to hear the next breathtaking chapters? I love story writing and sharing stories with you all. This is Beth with the wild imagination signing off until the next chapter. Today we're going to do something fun! I'm going to tell you this or that. Choosing a snack. Apple or cookie? Cookie! On Tuesday, I went to the Melbourne Novotel to do a talk about digital champions for work. My friends came to support me and we had a buffet for lunch. They had lots of food there to choose from. And I like my Down Syndrome Australia job. I also did my merchandise store. We have got more unicorn things now, and my dad allowed me to do some markets this year. Ben2. This time I am blogging about things that I collect. When I was little, I had many cute stationery items. I remember having a Pikachu stationery set that came in a box with a transparent window. I also had two pencil sets, one Hello Kitty and one Hamtaro. I remember the Hamtaro pencils were in pastel colours like baby pink, baby yellow, purple, and aqua. I loved them! I also had many stickers when I was little, mostly from Kumon. I did not get the whole sticker sheets. Usually, the teachers cut out the stickers and put them in a container so the children could choose their favourites. Mum also bought me lots of stickers and kept them in plastic pockets. They had cute designs such as Sanrio, Disney Princesses, Piglet, beaches, and colourful stars. When I was small, I also had many cute dinnerware items. I remember having Barbie and Winnie the Pooh bowls when I was in kindergarten. I also had Snoopy and Cinderella bowls, and I still keep them. When I got a bit older, I started using plates instead of bowls. I had Snoopy, Winnie the Pooh, and Barbie plates. I still have my Snoopy plate today. I also had cute cutlery when I was little, including Winnie the Pooh, Snoopy, and Powerpuff Girls sets. I also collect my childhood photos. Mum brought all of my childhood photo albums with her. Back then, things were different because there were no smartphones. Photos were printed and placed in albums. These days, parents often use smartphones to take pictures of their children and share them on social media or through private messages. I sometimes miss being a little girl, but I can still enjoy cute things like Disney, Snoopy, and Hello Kitty just like I did when I was younger. I still like stickers as an adult. Now I buy stickers with my own money. I usually place them in my journal or on greeting cards. Sometimes we make cards in the handmade group. One time, I made a birthday card for Carol. I also still enjoy collecting cute dinnerware, even as an adult. I have lots of cute cutlery sets, some from Miniso and some from Japan. Have any of you been to Japan? I also have two Disney plates, one Minnie Mouse and one Winnie the Pooh. I have a Winnie the Pooh bowl as well, and I also have an otter bowl that I bought at the Shimane Aquarium in Japan. I love my Super Mario plush collection. I like collecting Super Mario character plush toys because they are quite rare. As many of you know, Cheep Cheep is my favourite because he is very cute. I have different sizes of Cheep Cheep plush toys, including two small ones, medium sized ones, and giant ones. Do you have any plush toys? If you do, are they characters or regular stuffed animals? Please share in the comments. Collecting things has no age limit. I know a content creator who has children but still enjoys collecting cute things like squishies. Thanks for reading my blog. Have a wonderful week. This is Princess Jacinda signing off. |
