SERENDIPITY
Meaning - Unexpected good luck! This word was invented by a British man over 300 hundred years ago and isn’t used a lot in our modern-day language. When was the last time you were surprised by something or someone? Dear my readers, as I write this, I welcome you back to my last week in Canberra. It’s been an amazing time enjoying being with my friends from the other states. I have been trying my best at bowling, we have had a bowler who has bowled his first ever perfect game of 300 on state day which was so amazing, also I have been spending time with my friends, been sightseeing, and met some new friends along the way. Something funny as I have been able to support my friends in anyway, I can’t wait to come back to blogging class. Love from your friends Jess and Jeff the Umbrella bear. Hello my amazing readers! How are you? I had a bit of writer's block just before, but now I know what to write exactly about. Have you experienced a moment of serendipity in your lifetime? My serendipity moment was when me and my family went to Crown Metropol for my 18th birthday. Very unexpected and amazing. It was so awesome, fun and relaxing. We drove to the city on Tuesday morning, checked in, relaxed to catch our breath, and straight up to the roof-top pool for us! No pool visit is complete without a warm, soak in the bubbly spa. And we did exactly that! Chicken and noodles for me for my birthday dinner, everyone else chose their favourites and we enjoyed a meal together. It's always so important on a family stay-cation. I'm the School Captain, I feel like a lot of good luck came with that. That is also a serendipity moment for me. What about you reader? I think it's nice to look out for the good luck moments in life. Thank you for reading! bye xoxo -Angelina The thing about luck is strange but wonderful and full of mystery and the feeling is immeasurable when something unexpected comes by like this. I've had a few experiences of serendipity as I love to gamble and test my luck in many ways, each one a challenge to achieve, it almost feels like a superpower sometimes and even my boyfriend stares at me like how the heck did you do that? Oftentimes I shrug and smile because you can't explain what luck is sometimes, it's like you were the one to wield the power, but luck can be in many forms, good or bad. Each one tells a story. I want to use my luck to help others find their own way of moving forward, Luck doesn't need to involve Money or fame, as we are lucky to have friends and Family who still love us and support us for who we are. We are lucky to be alive and well, you can't ask for more luck, you already have the luck within yourself. Everyday is like Serendipity is here now for me. – Holly Something that happened to me, that was a good luck, was to win Xbox games. Do know how many I won? TEN! I won ten times! It was good luck for my good friend. I was expecting it. I love my good friends and my mates…. I love playing games with my friends. I think my level is 150 for now!!! And I love scary movies. TJ Hi friends, we are back again at blogging on this very cold day. Today’s topic is something unexpected that happened to me during bowling. For those who don’t know every Wednesday I go bowling with my friends from Umbrella Support and for the last two weeks I tried to challenge myself with no bumpers. I didn’t do very well but I think the more I practice the better I will become. The better I do the less I will need serendipity which means unexpected good luck. I will feel confident and not think it’s the end of the world because it’s just a game and the most important things to me is spending time with my friends. Remember that even if you are not excellent at something the more you practice or the more effort you put into something you can do anything when you set your mind into it. Always believe in yourself. Have you had unexpected good luck in your life. Have a great day keep following your dreams my lovely friends your bubbly friend Bethany. Dear readers, this week I chose to write about Inclusion which means being included. Let me tell you about inclusion. To me being included is very important and being excluded is not a good feeling. Yesterday I went bowling with the Umbrella Support group and our bowling team saw one of our friends and they played on another lane for one game, afterwards our team asked our friends to join us in bowling. I came up with the idea of including our friends again in bowling next week and I told Cindy. We decided as a team to invite our friends again to bowling next week. I think our friend who will now come to bowling next week, had unexpected good luck from us, that was his moment of serendipity. Have you ever been in a situation when something unexpected happened? Written by Charlotte Welcome back to our little corner of the internet, my dear lovely readers. Today, we’re discussing unexpected good fortune that has come your way. What have you done recently for unexpected good luck that has had an effect on your life? The quote of the day: “We all want to win more, but it’s about being blessed and grateful for our blessings. Since we have life” Imagine having unexpected good fortune that could change your life. Today I'm writing about serendipity. The unexpected good luck that I have had in my life has been having two great, supportive parents who have always been there for me. I feel very blessed and lucky to have my parents. I was school captain, and I didn’t expect to be chosen. I felt very fortunate and felt like it was good luck coming my way. That was a moment of serendipity for me. I will admit I was a bit stuck today on what to write, so someone very special and dear to me said I had better mention her. Thank you Mum. Also thanks you for taking the time to read my blog. Signing out my readers. See ya next time Kathryn. Serendipity - my unexpected good luck. When one door closes, a new door will open. Things happen for a reason and everything works out in the end. I have experienced seeing dolphins at the beach and have seen black swans and pelicans at Hastings foreshore, Western Port Bay. Both experiences were amazing and very beautiful and I felt very peaceful. I would really love to experience both more regularly. Both experiences were unexpected. Sometimes I see rosellas in my garden and I really love seeing the rosellas because their colours are so beautiful. Each time I see them, I think how lucky I am to see them in that moment. My Dad has offered to kindly help me with a problem and on Sunday my dad came to visit me and he bought me lunch and I had my favourite which is McDonald’s and yesterday unexpectedly I got $10 off my Coles shopping on my flybuys. I have I new door opening at the moment which is very positive. And I am looking towards a positive future. – Gipsy Serendipity, what a fun word to say... Hello Friends, According to the all-knowing Google, Serendipity means; the occurrence and development of events by chance in a happy or beneficial way. I suppose my friendship with my best friend in the whole world is a bit of serendipity, when I first met her, she was a baby, and I would have been maybe 2 years old. I'm sure that was a super fun meeting for us since neither of us remembers it. Regardless of the events that led to us meeting, it was by chance that our parents happened to attend the same high school. That is where the Serendipity comes in. Our friendship started because our mums were friends, so I have known her all her life and we have always been friends, besties and sisters of the heart. There hasn't been a moment where I haven't been grateful for her friendship and having her beautiful self in my life. Even though she lives far away she is never far from my heart, having this close friendship has been honestly the most rewarding and beautiful gift life can give me. I love her and her little family endlessly and I did message her to ask if I could use her name for this blog but due to her being very busy with life, she did not get back to me in time. I think I was supposed to write this blog today to remind me that I have a lot to be grateful for and that friendships like this one need to be celebrated and cherished. Thank you, Serendipity, for the way you work in life and in this world! I need to also add that I learnt that the word serendipity was created by a British man in the 1700’s over 300 years ago! What a cool bit of information and shout out to Cindy for sharing that with us. Can you tell that I complete winged writing this blog? I'm not going to lie I was completely stuck on what to write but then it came to me after a small break. Never give up my friends just try, try again. Go out and spread all the kindness you beautiful humans. Your friend Shan
