If I was to host an event, what would it be?
I love animals. I would definitely host an animal party for all my friends to come to. I would have heaps of different animals at my party. I would have rabbits, puppy dogs and tigers. I would have lots of tigers because they are so big and so cute. I would also have food at my party. There would be lots of strawberries, bananas, apples, oranges and party pies. We would play party games. We would all play on our iPads and play board games. Everyguys is invited to my animal party. See you all there! Ronalda. Today, the blog topic is hosting an event. If I could organise an event, the theme would be a Meet and Greet with Disney Junior characters. The event would be held in a park if the weather was nice. If it was raining, we would move the event inside a spacious, magical castle. Have you ever watched Disney Junior shows? Maybe you watched them when you were a kid? Even though Disney Junior is mainly aimed at toddlers and preschoolers, teenagers, adults and even older people can enjoy Disney Junior too. There would be lots of little kids at this event. The event would be held during the school holidays, so the kids would have something fun to do during their break. There would be lots of fun Disney Junior themed worksheets for kids and adults to enjoy, such as colouring, colour by number, word searches, dot to dot and spot the difference. Do you enjoy doing fun worksheets like these? Of course, there would be plenty of stationery available, including markers, coloured pencils and grey lead pencils. You would not have to bring your own stationery from home. You could meet Disney Junior characters such as Mickey, Minnie, Sofia the First, Doc McStuffins, Handy Manny, Vampirina and Jake from Jake and the Never Land Pirates. You could also take photos with all the characters. There would be yummy snacks too, such as donuts, chocolate, cookies and hot chips. The plates and serviettes would have Disney Junior themed designs. There would also be free Disney Junior stickers for everyone who attends the event. I would definitely be excited to see all the cute designs! If I could meet a Disney Junior character in real life, I would choose Doc McStuffins. She is good at helping and fixing broken toys. She is also a caring person. Even when she does not always get along with all of her toy friends, she still helps them when they need her. I think she would be a good person to talk to when you are feeling down. I would like to meet Sofia the First too. She has a kind heart, just like Doc McStuffins, but they have very different lives. Sofia is a princess, while Doc McStuffins is a doctor who helps fix broken toys. I love Disney Junior because the cartoons are colourful, cute and easy to understand. They also have characters with different personalities and lots of fun adventures. If I could really host this event, I think it would be a fun and magical day for everyone. Thank you for reading my blog. I hope you enjoyed it, even though I wrote a very long one! This is Comfort Queen Jacinda signing off. Shan If I was asked to host or plan an event, because I’m not likely to volunteer to host or plan an event if I’m honest, I’d probably be very excited for it to be over. The minute it was over, I’d go home, have a shower, put on my comfiest pyjamas and go to bed. The amount of planning and preparation for any event would give me a high amount of stress. Partly because I want everything to be perfect, including myself, and also because I’m not super keen on anything that involves a lot of people. This is possibly why there are event planners, so that those of us who don’t want to plan an event don’t have to. Planning and hosting any event can be a lot of work and energy. I probably would be more inclined to do an event that was on the smaller side and was very low key. You want something bigger, then get yourself a Kardashian. All jokes aside, I’ve helped to host and plan different events where I wasn’t really needed to do a whole lot. I’m much better suited to helping the host or planner, as they would be able to tell me what they need from me. I like to help with setting up mostly because then there aren’t a lot of people around to battle with. I’m more of a helping hand than a host or planner. I’m fairly good at it, I believe, and if it gets too overwhelming I can just tap out and come back when I’m ready. If I could just help set up and then do the clean up after everyone’s gone, I’d be a happy human. Is there an event that I would enjoy being a part of? Yes, there are many events I would enjoy being a part of in my own time and at my own pace. I just don’t want to be the one solely responsible for it. What about you? Do you enjoy hosting and planning events? What event would you like to host or plan? Let us know in the comments! Your friend always, Shan This year we will have a party for my birthday. My mum will be making the Slaughter to Prevail cake because this cake is so awesome. We will go to the movies to see 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple. This is a good zombie film and I really enjoy myself when I watch zombie movies. Next year I will host and be in charge of a concert to see System of a Down, and it’s going to be good at Marvel Stadium. Every year my Nan and my Poppy give me movie tickets for Christmas. Next year I will host a party for my mates. My mum will be making a cool cake. But you know, it’s just practice to be hosting a birthday party, but we’ll see about that. Korey - Hosting Birthday Party Since Halloween is only 58 days away, I would host a Halloween event at an abandoned barn house. Every worker I would hire would be one of the scariest clowns, monsters and everything in between. Before the guests enter, I’ll have a ticket booth shaped like a coffin, with a person dressed up as a zombie. Then, once the guests go through the doors, they’ll head into a corn maze with hidden characters and people dressed as scary scarecrows. Once they’ve completed the corn maze, they will head towards the Tunnel of Doom to get to the barn. The tunnel will be moving around, and on the sides of the tunnel there would be scary movies playing in 3D. Finally, the guests are heading to the barn. The scary actors will wander around the area scaring people. Some will even be hiding in holes to grab people’s feet. We’ll also have a Murder House. Each section will be based on a different horror movie. One room will have a man lying on a surgical bed getting cut up, with different types of organs hanging above him. There will be a crazy cook cooking human flesh in a pot, with bloody splatters on the walls. After they finish the Murder House, they enter the barn. In the middle of the barn floor there will be a pretend hole leading underground. There will be zombies and witches acting as waitresses, serving Halloween food like sausage roll fingers, chocolate worms and mud cupcakes. Even the drinks will be horror related, like syringe shots and Bloody Mary's. Once the party is over, or is it? There will be three doors they can pick from. The first door will lead to a room filled with evil clowns. The second door will be a room with sharks behind glass. The final door will be completely black with only candlelight, but there will be people hiding inside to scare you. They say everyone deserves a scare a few times in their lifetime. When sunrise happens, the barn explodes and disappears so no one can find the location. It was all Halloween magic. Haley Hey Readers, How are you? Today’s topic is: If you were to host an event, what would it be? I would host a Guy Sebastian event! It would have food, drinks and desserts. I would help Guy get ready and do a soundcheck with him. I would then be asked if I would like to go on stage with him to sing and dance. Of course, I would say yes! I would have my hair and makeup done and get a brand new outfit. I would have my very own microphone that I could keep and practise with. I would also have a backstage pass! I would have the best time singing and dancing with Guy. Then he would ask me if I would like to tour with him, and I would say, “Yes please!” It would be the best time ever. I can’t wait! I would also host a Mamma Mia event! I would help them get ready and get changed, help set up and then go on stage to sing and dance with them. I would have my own microphone and would be asked if I would like to tour with them. I would say, “Yes please!” We would have so much fun singing and dancing together. We would have their favourite food, drinks and desserts. I would have my hair and makeup done, as well as a new outfit and shoes. It would be the best night ever, singing and dancing together! This was a fun blog to write! We can’t wait for more. This is Pop Queen Beth signing off until next time. Dear Readers, This week’s topic is: If I was hosting an event what would it be? Let me start by telling you that I don’t really like planning or hosting events. Instead, I would love to be a host and judge on a cooking show, like MasterChef, with Chef Gordon Ramsay, who would be another judge on the show. I think I would be a tough judge when it comes to trying everyone’s food on the show! The name of the show would be Master Cooks. What would I wear as the host and judge? I think I would wear a business-casual white blouse, a black blazer, black suit pants with black high heels and a tan Gucci handbag. Readers, I have a question for you: if you could host an event, what would it be? Written by Charlotte Car Race at a Race Track I’m going to host a car race at a race track that goes under and around the track. My friend is going to be the traffic controller. He will start the race and tell us who won the race. I’m going to race one of the cars too! Nick If I held a party, I would have sausage rolls and pizza. I would also have apple pie and cake. I would invite my friends to my party. For drinks, I would have lemonade, Coke and apple juice. It would be a fun party with lots of yummy food and drinks! Ben
