We couldn’t choose…
The indecision between Christmas and AI was a very hot topic this morning as our bloggers threw around suggestions for this week’s blog topic. So, we decided to write about both. Please enjoy this very varied edition of “JUST WRITE” Hello beautiful readers today, we are writing about two interesting topics: Christmas or Artificial Intelligence (AI). Can you guess which one I chose? I picked Christmas because I love everything about it. I love Christmas decorations, lights, carols, and movies. I also enjoy eating Christmas food. Christmas is a special time to spend with family. My mum and dad give me nice gifts. Christmas makes me happy, and I have a great time with my family and friends. This Christmas will be extra special because we're going to Hong Kong. I'm excited to visit Disneyland. Thank you for reading my blog, Claire AI planning Christmas. Could AI really plan Christmas? Well in one case it already has. A woman in the UK has used Chat GPT to plan everything from the food to the gifts. My concern with AI taking over Christmas is that it will lose the authenticity and people will become lazy and allow AI to dictate what people eat and what they buy for presents. I wonder how long it would take to prepare Christmas with AI compared to how long it takes now? Will a family Christmas ever be the same again once it takes over? Will they have to rename the Mariah Carey hit “All I want for Christmas is you” to “All I want for Christmas is AI”? What does Christmas look like for you? How will AI affect your Christmas in the future? Will it be as dysfunctional as what’s coming up? Head over to Hellow Media to find out. Merry Christmas and keep being awesome! Ben P.S. I promise I wrote this. LOL. Dear readers this week’s topic is Xmas or A.I I have a question for you readers: Do you call it Christmas or Xmas and why? Are you feeling the Christmas hype this year or like some of us there's a touch of mixed emotions. Have you decorated your home inside or outside or even both or simply done nothing. Do you have a tree and if so is it real or a plastic one and is it decorated with presents underneath. At my home we have two trees, one in the living room and the other one is in my bedroom. Only the living room tree has presents under it. Another thing we do at our place is we have a chalkboard that counts down the days till Christmas day, starting from the 1st of December. Do you count the days and if so, do you have a chalkboard like mine? I would like to end my blog with an original poem. Roses are red Violets are blue Christmas is just around the corner Are you excited too? Written by Charlotte Hi readers, welcome to my blog! Today, I want to talk about Artificial Intelligence (AI), a technology that's accessible to everyone. To be honest, I'm not sure if I like or trust AI. In my opinion, AI can be a challenge for government organisations, such as the CIA. I feel that AI has the capability to hack into important data, like classified documents, and might cause problems in the future. It's like something out of a science fiction movie, but we're living in a digital age where technology is everywhere. As AI continues to advance, I think it's essential to consider the potential risks and benefits. While AI can bring many advantages to us human being. We also need to be aware of the potential challenges and taking steps to address them will be crucial to protect consumers. Thanks for reading my blog, Nick. The A.I. Rabbit hole... Since we are quickly approaching Christmas, you would expect that I would be writing about Christmas and all its festivities. Sorry Santa but I have to keep everyone on their toes and make a complete left turn and write about A.I. According to google.com artificial intelligence is a set of technologies that enables computers to perform a variety of advanced functions, including the ability to see, understand and translate spoken and written language, analyze data, make recommendations, and more. So now that the definition is out of the way let’s get into it, I’m quietly waiting for A.I. to take over the world as we know it and I’m sending out a warning to read up about and educate yourself about things like A.I. because the more you know the less you can be caught off guard. Yes, it’s got it’s uses, it can be extremely helpful and I obviously can’t help but use it as it will be the norm now and in the future. However, it should like with most Australian animals, be approached with caution. With the way the world is today, and how technologically advanced we are quickly becoming, all our data and sensitive information ends up being shared with different sites, government agencies and hospitals just as some examples. It’s also used with A.I. which can be a bit scary. While I understand that personal information does need to be shared and can be shared with or without my knowledge. Anything about me can be found eventually and quite quickly at any point in time what I worry about is how it can be used and where it can be sold. I think we will find that cyber-crime and A.I. will go hand in hand. I have also read many conspiracy theories around A.I. and it just drives home how important it is to be educated and find reliable sources of information otherwise you might find yourself not leaving to house and becoming somewhat of a recluse. I too am still learning how far A.I. actually goes into our society as it’s become somewhat of an obsession to learn as much as I can. I have so many questions in regards to how we can use it to help our world and what safe guards will be put into place so that we can enjoy and use A.I. safely. Also, I'm curious about how the military use and will use it. I will leave you with this; how do you think Christmas and A.I. will be intertwined now and in the future? Go right on ahead and get your thinking caps on people! Maybe do some research on it if you like. YAY HOMEWORK! Your friend, Shan. Hey friends, it’s Thursday again which means back to blogging and today’s topic is Christmas. A fun fact for you my readers is Mrs Clause’s real name is actually Gertrude and she was a school teacher and she is often described as a kind hearted grandmother. A fun fact is the world’s tallest Christmas tree was 67.361 meters high and was displayed in a Seattle shopping mall in 1950. another fun fact is tinsel was invented in 1610 in Germany and was originally spun from real silver. Did you know is that Coca-Cola helped create the image of Santa Claus we know today, but previous images of Santa showed him wearing red robes. I hope you have enjoyed reading my blog and learnt something new This is Bethany signing off until next week.
