Have you ever looked at something and thought, “I wish I came up with that”? From everyday essentials to life changing innovations, inventions shape the way we live, connect, and experience the world. In today’s blog we’re exploring a fun and imaginative question:- if you could have invented anything, something that already exists or something completely new, what would it be?
I’ve always wanted a body double of myself, so I could get more tattoos, more piercings and dermal. I wish I could invent a machine that would print out more of my bodies, so the original Haley can be creative on the other replica Haley. One would have all tattoos, one would have all horror icons, another one would have Disney and Pixar icons. I would be covered in tattoos, no space left behind. I’ve tried ages ago when I did have twelve piercings at once, but I was getting older so I thought they looked silly. I had a Monroe, and an industrial piercing. I did have my belly done three times, unfortunately one time the belly piercing just jumped out off my body and died. And also my body rejects some kind of materials. I also had four dermals, two on the hips and two on the upper chest area. But my other body double would have finger dermals, under the eye dermal and behind the neck, but they’re a bit different from normal piercings, the piercer would take a dermal punches and they would punch a hole into the skin to place an anchor. Once that’s placed they screw on the top part of the jewellery. When I was in my 20s, I did have a fascination with Scarification tattoos, they’re different to normal tattoos, from my knowledge the tattooists create wounds in the body in the style of your choice. According to the internet, they usually take six months to twelve months to heal. So you see, I would love to invent a body maker or some kind of machine that creates doubles of myself. So you can creative or express yourself without damaging your own body. Even now I do have tattoos but they are all mostly covered because I don’t like drawing attention to myself. Hence why I would invent a body maker, so I can walk around in the shadows while all of my body makers would be showing all of my creative side, that original Haley doesn’t want too. I would also let other people use it to let them show off their creative side too. Haley. If I could invent something magical, I would like to make a room in my house full of Disney characters and there would be Mickey Mouse, Cinderella, Pinocchio, Donald Duck and Daisy, The Beast, Prince Adam and best of all, Goofy. We will have to have seven king size beds in the room with fluffy colourful doonas. I would have lots of fun playing with my friends and play Disney dream light on PlayStation, Toy Story Play Station, and watch the movie The Lion King. They would be my best friends forever and we would share our dreams and good times together. The laughter we would share and the memories we would make would be my magical dream come true. This is Princess Claire signing off and gathering my Disney friends for another fun night tonight. I could invent a tie-dye machine and would have lots of colours like pink, blue and greens and I would like the machine to be green. I would love a tie-dye machine so I can make my merch properly and professional. I think its important to have professional equipment. Ben2 Dear readers, this week's topic is if I could invent anything what would it be? Let me start by telling you about what I would invent. Two inventions actually, that would help me daily to make my bed after I wake up and get out of bed and I would invent another that would fold and put all my laundry away because that would help me and my parents when it come to housework especially when we decide to do a big spring clean. Readers I have a question, if you could invent anything what would you invent and why? written by Charlotte. Shan’s something I wish I could have invented or that I had invented blog… Have you ever seen a product or something advertised somewhere and thought; “I wish I thought of that” because I know I have for many things. In 2003 (though I feel like it was released in Australia much later) a new toy came out called a Pillowpet, a Pillowpet is a pillow that could be folded over and held with a Velcro strap. The idea was that it was a pillow but also a pet. It even had a catchy slogan “it’s a pillow, it’s a pet, it’s a pillow pet!.” It was a very popular toy and I didn’t know many people who didn’t have one. I was completely in awe of the Pillowpets idea and I thought it was a genius idea. This is because a favourite toy being also a pillow was just what we needed and we didn’t even know we needed it. It made sleepovers more exciting too because kids could just bring their pillow pet and it eliminated the need to bring both a soft toy and a pillow. It was the best space saver too, unless you were like my sister and had around fifteen of them all stacked on your bed. I believe I had three pillow pets, my favourite one was my dog pillowpet that now lives in my best friends house because her chihuahua loved it so much I couldn’t take it from her. I’m sure many of us in our childhood and possibly adults too spent years using soft toys as pillows, I heard many people around me say that they wish they had thought of Pillowpets because of how popular it was. I just wanted to be able to say that I had thought of it, feels like a pretty cool thing to have on your resume. What do you wish you had invented and why do you wish you had invented it? Let us know in the comments! Goodbye for now friends, your friend, Shan. On Saturday we went to Supernova with my friends from another program and it was such a big day. I met Spike from Buffy, his real name is James Marsters and he's now 63 but that's a good age. And guess what, I got the autograph on my pop funko and he gave me three photos I was so lucky to meet him. I dressed up as Dean Winchester from Supernatural as he is my favourite character. I bought a Castiel pop funko and I got the Supernatural book. Last week I went to a funeral with my family and Grandparents. It was my uncle who had a heart attack. He had two golf trophies and he loved Carlton but is so sad very very sad. There were childhood memory photos at the funeral and was sad and we will miss him very much and we love you for Uncle Graeme. Korey. Today's blog is what do I wish I could invent or wish was invented? My invention, or rather super power would be to understand what dogs are saying. I only want to be able to understand dogs this will be Ronaldas super power. Only I would be able to understand dogs no one else! I want to understand what dogs are saying because I love dogs and it would be awesome. When I talk to the dogs they will understand me, and so when they bark I'll be able to understand them too. The dogs would want to say hello to me. My dog Zeus would want to talk to me about getting him the yummiest food! He'd ask me to get him McDonald's for dinner! He'd ask me to come play with him, to roll around in the grass and play with toys. Dogs would say hi to me, and I'd say hi back. The dogs would say pat me!! Cuddle me, Play with me! Give me belly rubs! Give me treats! I would also be able to understand elephants! Why? Because I like elephants! The elephants would be asking me for bananas! I would also be able to understand a tigers roar! I'd want to be able to understand animals because I love them!! I won't be able to understand all the animals just the ones I like, sorry but not cats so I can't tell you what they said! Animal super power Ronalda signing off! If I was to invent something it would a Titan submersible, but i would make it better. For those that dont know a Titan Submersible is an underwater vehicle which needs to be transported & supported by a larger water craft, which is what makes it different to a submarine. I would make my submersible into a sphere shape because it would be stronger and lighter and it wouldn’t come apart. I like submersibles because you get to see things you normally cant. I think the deep sea is pretty cool. Nick. Hi friends, how are you? Today’s topic is if you were to invent something, what would it be and why? I have a question for you readers: if you were to invent something what would it look like and why? I would invent my own karaoke place because I like singing. It would be fun with disco balls, lights, stage, karaoke screen, mics stands, dress ups, chandeliers, food, songs and drinks. It would be called Beth's Karaoke Room. Friends and family support workers are welcome to come. I would invite Cindy, Krystle, Bernie, Steph and Sheridan, Chrissie and Chanel and especially Delia. The music would be Pop music and Country music and more, where everyone could sing each word and dance to the beat. I would hire a hall to put this entertainment in and tables and chairs for everyone so they are comfortable. Thank you for reading my blog. This is Beth the karaoke queen signing off until next adventure. What do you wish you’d invented or want to invent? Well every time I go on my Xbox I’d like if it could help me understand what people saying. Words could come out from them and I can read them, whatever they saying I always do mic off. I don’t do talk much, only sometimes as they don’t always understand me and I got mad sometime. I can play myself or a friend. But my invention would make it much better for me. TJ Today’s blog topic is about inventions. If I could invent something, I would want to invent a soft toy that can talk and understand emotions. Sometimes things at home are not perfect like I’m sure most people experience. There can be conflict and misunderstanding. It can make me sad if I get into trouble. If I had a soft toy that could talk and understand emotions, I would feel better. It could say, “It’s okay Jacinda, not all days are good.” Just like my favourite show Doc McStuffins, when Doc is feeling down, all her toys comfort her and Lambie gives her hugs and sings a song to her. I might bring this emotional support soft toy to Umbrella Support, in case someone had a difficult week. The soft toy could comfort my friends and understand their feelings. It would also understand comfort levels, so if I don’t like something, it would respect that. I would name this soft toy Snugglet. I also want to invent a bed and pillow that help you fall asleep automatically. Once I lie down, I would drift off straight away. I want to invent this because I am someone who does not fall asleep quickly. I am inventing it for anyone who struggles to sleep. All hotels and Airbnb places should have beds like this. Are you a hard sleeper or an easy sleeper? I also want to invent an automatic eye mask. Once you wear it, you will fall asleep straight away. I am also inventing a social battery silicone wristband, similar to the Umbrella Support wristband that Cindy gave everyone, except this one says “Social Battery.” The colour would be aqua, but if I have too much social interaction, like when I go to Indonesia, it would change colour to red. I would explain this to people around me so that if they see my wristband turn red, they know I need a break. After some quiet time, it would turn aqua again. Being social is part of life, but too much can be exhausting. I am an introvert, so I need quiet time to recharge. Thank you for reading my blog. This is Princess Jacinda signing off
